Chapter 6: Young Master Jiang

"what were you doing, why didn't you come pick us."

Their father had just open the door and the very next second, he closed it.

"What's wrong honey?"

Even the children were in support of their mother. First, he didn't come along with Henry, now he was refusing to let them in.

"Nothing much," it was obvious he was worried, cause he scratched the back of his neck "just want the kids to behave themselves, I have a visitor."

"Don't worry dad, we will just go into a room till you are done with business,right Cherry."

This blockhead, why make it sound like she was the one causing trouble, anyway, she would have to play along.

"Sure."

John opened the door for them all, before going back to meet his visitor.

"Young Master Jiang!"

A shriek could be heard from no one else other than Cherry.

"Oh! A fan?" Jiang let out a chuckle before plastering a smile on his face.

"Yes, yes, a fan." she clasped her palms together before going closer to where he was sitted.

Why wouldn't she know him, her father was a business man, so likewise her brother, and the JIANG CORPORATION was a very popular name among business men, and the news.

Jiang stood up and stretched his right hand for a hand shake. Cherry didn't waste time accepting the hand shake. She was all smiles, before an idea came to her mind.

"Can I have a photo with you?" she didn't even think twice before blurting this out.

Tom could only shake his head in pity as he was waiting for such a request to be declined.

"Sure, I don't mind."

It suddenly felt as though a thousand knives pierced Tom at once.

Cherry was over the moon and quickly gave her phone to Tom to take the pictures.

She was quick in making some distance between them, Jiang frowned for a second after realising what she did.

"Come closer, I don't bite."

Cherry blushed before moving closer to him with her head hung down how could she let her brother see how flushed her face was, she sure wasn't ready for another tease.

She stood by his right hand side, placed her left hand on his left shoulder, while bringing her right hand in front of her face, releasing the index and middle finger while folding the rest.

She was so relaxed around Jiang, so she didn't read much meaning into it when Jiang took his hand across her waist to hold her hip.

Tom took the picture and returned the phone to her. She bowed and thanked Jiang

"Alright, I'll leave you two then."

"Sure."

Her excitement did not let her notice the tone Jiang used to reply, and even if she noticed, her IQ was not that high.

But Tom and his father didn't fail to notice that Jiang was interested in Cherry. Tom smirked and was more than happy, since he promised to find her a boyfriend. Tom excused himself and went to take a look around their hotel room.

After Tom left, Jiang sat down and smiled at John.

"You sure have an interesting daughter, Mr Mekaly." The smile on his face was so mesmerising. John on the other hand didn't need anyone to tell him what Jiang meant.

"I'll give you some time to think about it." he stood up and approached John "I look forward to doing business with you." they shook hands before he left.

But now, John had a bigger problem to solve.
