Cries of pain coming from the dark elves rang in Iris and Melissa's ears. Their shouts now a chorus of hundreds of them, trying to resist and break away from the Holy Wall that was stopping them from leaving. Once the great light vanished, what was left were the remains of what once were the dark elves.
Fear crawled up Chrysanthe's spine as she looked at her best friend, trying to protect everyone. She knew how diligently Iris tried to learn magicraft, hoping that she would be able to control it so it wouldn't pose any threat to her family's safety once she returned to Dravial.
However, Chrysanthe had never seen Iris use a fifth tier spell like this. Although Chrysanthe was now a spellcaster and not a magic born magus like Iris, Melissa had forbidden the two of them from using any spells beyond the fourth tier.
"A Lightbringer." Lady Selene said in amazement, looking at the bright holy light that descended from heaven.
