Amelia watched in horror as the rocks that were once part of the golem moved and accumulated, reforming its body. It didn't take long before the golem returned unscathed from their attacks. It seemed as though physical attacks wouldn't affect it.

"Lady Selene is right. This is no normal golem from the Dark Abyss." Melissa muttered with annoyance.

"What does it mean?" Amelia asked.

"A golem can't grow as large as this and won't dare to leave the safety of the labyrinth where it usually dwells. I think someone sent it here. The usual golems do not have the same regeneration ability. They also don't like confronting other dwellers of the labyrinth and prefer to move on their own."

However, they didn't have enough time to talk any further as the tortoise golem initiated an attack this time. Its scorpion-like tail whipped in a flash, almost hitting Amelia, had Melissa not use her sword to block it.
