Avery's fingers traced the faint pink scars along his shoulders and stomach, and her mood cooled at the sight. "Are you still feeling pain?" She asked softly, staring into his eyes for answers.
Lucas felt warmth spread through him as an idea formed. "The pain's gone, but I have some muscle aches." He paused, then flipped them over, lying beneath her as Avery found herself on top.
"Avy, You're the one in charge. I'll follow your pace." He said and held her by the waist when he noticed she was trying to flee.
"W-We can continue when you're fully healed; there's no need to rush," Avery choked, her face flushed red. Lucas guided her hands on his chest, making her feel his warm skin.
'Where are they?!' Avery thought, recalling Kelvin and the others were supposed to be here.
