Second Chance

Jasmine's pov

I woke up with a pounding headache, feeling like i had a hangover.

"Hey Jasmine, good morning," Sam said with a smile on her face.

I yawned and streched, my eyes still heavy with sleep "Good morning," I replied, smiling back at her.

She pushed a tray of food towards me, and my heart swelled with gratitude. "I made breakfast for you since you didn't eat last night," she said.

"Thank you so much, Sam. I appreciate all you are doing for me," I said, feeling touched my her kindness.

"You are my best friend and I will do anything for you. Now, eat up and go see your husband," She winked and I chuckled.

"I don't know how to feel or how he feels. What if he doesn't want me anymore?" I asked worriedly and Sam sighed.

"Just be positive, he is going through a lot too, but i'm sure he will want you regardless," she assured me, i felt relieved.
