Bardock lives

In the gloomy depths of the abandoned structure, a hidden laboratory emitted an ominous signal. The rusted extraction machinery hung inert, offering a grim reminder of the work that once took place there.

Inside, the laboratory was a parody of science. Frayed cables hung from the ceiling like dead snakes. Workbenches were crammed with broken equipment and failed experiments, as if the scientists had fled in a hurry. A layer of fine dust covered everything, obscuring any clues as to what was being researched here.

An ominous red pulse emanated from a control panel embedded in the wall. A strobe light bathed the room in an unsettling flickering glow, and the words "RED ALERT" echoed throughout the facility. The air was heavy, laden with a sense of impending danger.

"How did this happen?"

The Saiyan in a suit resembling that of Earth astronauts wondered to himself.

The blinking red light seemed to mock the intruder who was lamenting in the control center. The cause of his bewilderment and confusion was before him.

A small blue sun was in front of him.

That sun contrasted with the lights in the laboratory, making it difficult to look at even with the combat detector.

Streams of lights similar to blue fireflies were being attracted to the increasingly large core.

It all started a few hours ago.

With Bardock entering the structure after the intergalactic chat with his superiors.

This time he entered accompanied by a few more warriors.

The welcome from the AI was not long in coming.

AI that filled the few aliens present with greed.

How not? AIs in the universe usually represent the technological crystallization of a civilization.

That civilization must at least have advances in many fields.

The information they contain can benefit a planet.

In universe 7 it is even more notorious because although in the past only about 20 habitable planets are recognized, they are recognized because they are the planets that have not become extinct over time.

In this universe there are also planets called shooting stars, and not because they will furrow the galaxies like one. But because a civilization develops on that planet quickly and by chance of fate they perish. These planets leave behind many things of value, which benefit another nomadic civilization, pirates or another planet with civilization in general.

Luckily, the remaining aliens were also affected by the bacteria.

As stronger, Bardock, naturally takes command.

Taking advantage of the additional labor, the Kakarotto with a scar ordered the capture of some creatures in the sea.

West, a blue-skinned alien resembling Freeza's third form, asked.

"So what are we going to do with these giant tentacles, Bardock?"

"Exactly! Since you call us all and you managed to enter the structure, you must have managed to find a way to obtain the cure! Right?" A bird-like humanoid asked.

"I will explain to everyone, line up and pay attention, I will not repeat myself" Bardock with his serious face hidden by the health suit ordered the 24 strange-looking aliens.

"This planet is going to explode and to save ourselves we have to find a cure for the bacteria that is making us sick and a new battery for this base." As the only Saiyan present, Bardock could already smell the problems of these soldiers, they are obviously undisciplined cannon fodder, surely recruited on the way by the legion.

"How is the planet in danger?"

"Are we going to die? Impossible!"

"Obviously we have survived more than the rest outside...."

....

Those were the responses given by the other soldiers.

"The AI of this structure has the steps to follow to achieve our two goals.

I called you to help with the work" Bardock did not wait for the others to calm down and continued with the explanation.

After distributing the work and securing his position with some threats, Bardock took a break watching how the aliens worked and interacted with the AI to follow more instructions.

Enjoying a barbecue with some grilled fish, Bardock was sure that these little ones also had Kharaa, but it no longer matters, today he will receive the cure from the rest of the legion and if not, he will simply die."

'Like a Saiyan! How can you be afraid of food?' Bardock scoffs.

He didn't finish eating until it was night.

The rest of the aliens, although tired, followed all the instructions of the AI.

And now Bardock witnessed how sky blue liquids were absorbed by transparent tubes and directed to the interior of a vacuum-sealed chamber.

A metal inside began to emit an electric charge when one of the aliens raised a lever.

The liquid inside lost its viscous fluidity when vibrations forced the meringue to come together under pressure.

Lights were attracted by the spectacle produced in the vacuum chamber, drawing our attention.

Suddenly, Bardock's head spun. He saw a red syringe.

"Isn't that the cure? Is it ready yet?"

Speaking involuntarily, Bardock walked to one of the laboratory stations, ignoring the questions asked by the soldiers.

When he picked up a syringe and placed it in a machine, it slowly filled with the red liquid.

Staring at the liquid, somehow, waves of energy crept from the wall

Towards the outside, successfully pushing Bardock away. His bad luck was so great that then the shock wave recoiled, managing to blow up the walls and successfully knock the Saiyan down.

Bardock got up from the ground, shaking off the dust and splinters from the explosion. The sealed chamber had been destroyed, leaving only a steaming puddle in its place. The sky blue liquid had evaporated, leaving an unsettling void.

The flickering red light intensified, bathing the room in a crimson hue. The alarm sounded more urgently than before, announcing imminent danger.

"What the hell happened?", Bardock growled, clenching his fists in frustration. The cure was gone, and the explosion had endangered everyone present.

The other aliens got up from the ground, staggering and disoriented. The explosion had taken them by surprise, and now they looked to Bardock for answers.

"Easy!", Bardock shouted, trying to stay calm. "We don't know what happened, but we have to find out. And fast!".

"Gather the other soldiers and gather all our work!"

Bardock headed to the control console, where the AI was still flashing error messages. The explosion had damaged the system, but it was still possible to obtain vital information.

"The AI says the explosion was caused by an energy overload in the sealed chamber," Bardock explained to the others. "It seems that the sky blue liquid was unstable, and the reaction with the energy in the chamber caused the explosion".

"And the cure?", asked one of the aliens, with a trembling voice.

Bardock shook his head. "I don't know. But it wouldn't be far away. I had it in front of me a few seconds ago and if it exploded I would be soaked in the antidote".

The other aliens nodded, determined to follow Bardock. The situation was desperate, but there was still a small hope of survival.

Bardock led the group through the ruins of the laboratory, following the signals of the scouter. The flickering red light chased them, a constant reminder of the danger that surrounded them.

When everyone left the room, the metallic core that produced the discharge was revealed intact. The only difference is that it now shone white.

The blue lights in the air reappeared flickering along with liquids scattered around the laboratory. The machine that prepared the antidote was now broken and the few drops of red mixed with the rest as they were again attracted by the metal ball.

With a suction a hundred times stronger than before, Bardock and the other warriors who were checking the results of each experiment were interrupted when they were attracted by gravity through the walls to the room with the generator in progress. ..

All but Bardock, who used his remaining Ki at the last moment to save himself, were swallowed and incinerated by the now small sun.

With the sound of a rattling glass, Bardock noticed the syringe he had been frantically searching for in the last few minutes.

Grabbing it along with the briefcase full of samples and data collected by the soldiers from the artificial intelligence, he flew away.

He knows what's coming. His visions tell him.

As he travels to the sky at supersonic speeds, Bardock injects the serum through a hole in the helmet to his neck and then closes it again.

His body withered, revitalized and the ever-present wounds showed signs of closing.

He couldn't wait any longer.

He had to flee far away.

Very far.

Even further.

"Ah! Yes! I can try to save the others! The protective shield should be able to protect the most powerful. Right? I will heal them when we are safe."

Pressing a button, energy shields appeared at the base of the legion. These are even capable of protecting themselves against a casual attack by Freezer.

*BOOOM*

It didn't matter....

[Insert Rick and Morty music ending]

Only remnants of aliens were left floating in space.

There were no spaceships in sight, just scrap metal.

Leviathans before the size of a mountain now the size of a continent swimming silently in space.

All the mass of the planet disappeared and Bardock, for some reason, alive among all the corpses of Aliens and animals with his eyes wide open.
