Loki was standing on the balcony of Odin's room as he looked at the stars decorating the night sky with a solemn expression as he went over everything he had learned.
"What is troubling you, my child," asked Frigga as she entered the room and spotted Loki.
"Nothing, mother," replied Loki as he turned towards her wearing his normal face.
Frigga came to him and cupped his cheek.
"I have raised you since the day you came to this castle. I know when something is troubling you. You can speak to me about anything. I will always be here for you," said Frigga with a smile only a mother could give to her child.
Loki closed his eyes and leaned into her hand, enjoying the comfort it brought him, hopefully not for the last time.
"Who is Hela?" asked Loki as he leaned away from her hand.
Frigga's eyes widened in surprise and returned to normal in understanding. She wore a sad smile as she asked.
"How did you find out?"
"The mortal...no, the guide that father arranged for Thor. He was the one who found out," answered Loki.
Frigga had a million questions she wanted to ask but instead.
"So, you went to old Birger to find proof of your discovery," stated Frigga.
Loki said nothing but gave her a small smile.
"What do you wish to know?" asked Frigga, sighing.
Loki stayed silent as he studied her face for something; not finding what he was searching for, Loki asked.
"Is my entire life a lie?" asked Loki with the tiniest quiver betraying his true emotions.
"Loki, my dear child," said Frigga as she placed her hand on his shoulder.
" There is not a single thing in this universe that can change the fact that you are my son, blood be damned," added Frigga with such conviction that Loki started to tear up.
Frigga seeing her son vulnerable, hugged him, a gesture which he returned as he quietly sobbed into her shoulder.
A few minutes later.
Loki and Frigga were seated on a sofa facing away from Odin in his Odin sleep.
"Mother," began Loki getting Frigga's attention.
"I wish to go on a Feroalag."
(A/N: Feroalag is a literal google translation of Journey into Icelandic.
Here it is a Tradition in which a person leaves his home and travels the world, only returning when they have found the answer to their questions or if their home is in danger. In Loki's case, it's leaving the 9-realms and exploring the wider universe)
Frigga's eyes widened in surprise.
"Are you sure? It is dangerous out there," asked a worried Frigga as she held his arm.
"I will be fine, mother. I need time to process everything I have learned, and I can't do that in the nine realms and especially not here," replied Loki.
Frigga closed her eyes and took a deep breath, and sighed.
"I can't stop you, can I?" asked Frigga, but it was more of a statement.
Loki just gave her a small smile.
"A week," said Frigga causing Loki to raise his eyebrow.
"I couldn't give anything to your brother for his journey, but I will make sure you are ready for most things that are going to come your way out there. So give me a week," explained Frigga.
Loki smiled as her gesture warmed his heart.
"As you wish, mother," said Loki as he got up.
"Where are you going?" asked Frigga.
"I want to make my preparations before the journey, Mother," answered Loki as he went out of the room.
"Am I doing the right thing?" asked Odin as he sat up as soon as Loki left the room.
Frigga didn't answer her husband for a moment.
"You... We are trying to correct our mistakes, Odin. That is not the same as doing the right thing," answered Frigga as she sat next to her husband and put her hand above his.
Odin stayed silent as he suppressed his pain and guilt.
"I am lucky I have you," said Odin.
"That you are," agreed Frigga.
They stayed silent for a few more moments.
"Who is the 'guide'?" asked Frigga,
"A young Midguardian warrior. He caught my attention when he was five, and I have been watching him since then. He has time and time again surprised me with his achievements, grit, and wit. Had he been an Asgardian, I wouldn't have hesitated to take him into the royal family. Had he been our child, I would have crowned him my successor." said Odin.
(A/N: I am tooting my own horn. Sorry about that. I am feeling a bit narcissistic today.)
Frigga's eyes widened in surprise once again.
"And you didn't tell me because?" asked Frigga.
"I didn't feel the need to," answered Odin.
"Odin..." said Frigga, her tone rising in warning.
"I know, I know. I am sorry," said Odin in a tone that admitted his guilt.
"What's so special about him?" asked Frigga in a curious tone.
Odin smiled as he told her almost everything he had observed about Rohith.
"While impressive, those achievements and powers don't justify your interest or evaluation of him," said Frigga as she stared at him.
Odin smiled as if he was going to enjoy what would come next.
"He is a realm seed."
"WHAT!?" Yelled Frigga, only to see a smiling Odin.
"Are you out of your mind?" hissed Frigga.
"He is a danger to this reality, and you are letting my son stay around that THING!? What if he tries to grow his realm or worse dies?!" yelled Frigga at her husband.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello ladies, gentlemen, and beautiful people. I welcome you to my Ted talk about realm seeds.
You know how Dormammu, Annihilus, Vishanthi, etc., have their own dimensions and stuff? How do you think they got them, and why would they try to take over the multiverse of marvel?
This is my answer to it. They were people/beings that took absolute control of their home universe and changed something fundamental in it, thus making it separate/unique in the multiverse/timelines; from there, they started encroaching on the various multiverses/timelines to grow in power and stuff.
Now how did they accomplish it? Simple, they developed/become a "realm seed.". It grows with the creator absorbing his/her/their power and anything they consume/corrupt until it becomes strong enough to sprout and consume their entire universe and become a realm.
If the creator/seed is alive, the simplest and the only solution to stop them is to throw them out of the universe and hope they get lost in the time stream and the web of the multiverse and become someone else's problem.
If the creator or the mind of the seed dies, well, the seed goes berserk, consuming anything and everything. It remains part of the multiverse, but there would be no way to predict what it will turn into. It can make it so that nothing changes, or everyone is stuck in a time loop, or everything becomes paint/roti/pizza/iamhungrywhatever.
And that concludes my ted talk for the day.
(A/N: I know its cringe, but I am high on dopamine and don't care for the consequences)

"Thor is not in danger. It's the opposite. He is in the safest place he could be. He is mature, yet he cannot sprout because he is afraid of power and doesn't want to hurt anyone," said Odin.
Frigga rubbed her temples, trying to reduce the headache that was slowly forming in her head.
"What if he dies? What then? He is a mortal, is he not?" asked Frigga in worry.
"He is powerful without the seed and nearly impossible to kill with it. He is also surrounded by people who will protect him with their lives if need be," replied Odin.
Frigga sighed as she started thinking of ways to deal with Rohith.
"If I could, I would have banished him, but something always interferes whenever I try," added Odin.
Frigga looked at him.
"Someone more powerful than you is protecting him from the shadows," stated Frigga as she read her husband's face.
"Why?" asked Frigga.
"I don't know; all I know is that it is impossible to banish or seal him," said Odin.
"That leaves the only option, which is befriending him," sighed Frigga as she finished his sentence.
"What have you prepared?" asked Frigga as she observed her husband again.
"A lot but also very little," answered Odin.
Frigga was silent for a few moments before sighing again.
"I want to commission something from the dwarfs, and you should go back to sleep. You haven't recovered completely," said Frigga as she gave him a small kiss.
Odin nodded and went back to sleep; it would be a few more months before he was back in his peak state.
One week later.
Loki was standing at the entrance to the Bifrost as he looked at his home. He was waiting for his mother and reminiscing about his childhood and his time growing up; as he did so, his heart ached as so many things clicked in place. He needed to get away from this place, and he knew it.
Loki was brought out of his reminiscence when he saw his mother approach him with someone following her. Someone he did not expect to see.
"Mother... Father" greeted Loki.
"Do you have to leave?" asked Frigga even tho she knew the answer to that question.
"I do," answered Loki.
"Loki," said Odin getting his attention.
Both men stared at each other in silence.
"You are my son and a child of Asguard, don't forget that," said Odin, which seemed to lift a massive weight off Lokis's shoulders.
"Of course, father," answered Loki with a genuine smile.
"Are you prepared for your journey?" asked Frigga with an expression that demanded Loki show her what he had prepared.
"Yes, mother," said Loki as he compiled with his mother's unspoken request and produced a sachel which Frigga snatched and looked at what was inside of it.
"Is this all?" asked Frigga in disbelief. Odin also looked into it and shook his head in disbelief and amusement.
"What?" asked Loki as he looked at his parents.
"Follow me," said Odin as he turned towards the castle, or more like the boat that would take them back to the city of Asgard.
A few moments later.
The royal family and guards entered a warehouse.
"What are we doing here asked Loki" as he looked around. The warehouse was mostly empty, with something covered by a drape in the center.
"How are you going to travel the cosmos after you leave the nine realms? While I do not doubt your resourcefulness. A prince of Asguard should never lose his dignity." said Odin as he signaled the guards to remove the drape covering the ship.
[INSERT SHIP DESCRIPTION HERE}]
"You will find instructions to operate it inside as well as supplies to last you at least a few months. It also has the star map of the known universe and general information about everything, not that you need it," said Odin as he banged his spear on the floor, and the ship shrunk and became small enough to fit in a pocket.
Odin opened his hand, and the ship flew into it. He handed it to Loki, who took it and stared at it.
"I don't know what to say," said Loki, uncomfortable with the gesture from his father.
"We aren't done yet," said Frigga as she summoned a box and gave it to Loki with a smile.
Loki vanished the ship, storing it in his personal space, and opened the box to reveal a pair of elven daggers almost as long as short swords. He could recognize that it was made of Uru and his mother's enchantments.
Loki was left speechless as he kept altering his gaze between the dagger and his mom.
"Mother..I..don't know what to say," said Loki.
Frigga squeezed his arm.
"Come home safe and sound," said Frigga with a smile, to which he nodded.
Meanwhile, on earth,
"Are you seriously not the god of hammers?" asked Rohith as he looked at the resident Asgardian with an expression that was a mixture of amusement and doubt.
