Prelude to Trouble

Much to the couple's surprise not long after Twig brought the refreshments he went to his own room. This kinda annoyed Cain because he got in the way and made trouble and now he is reasonable all of a sudden. But he didn't look a gift horse in the mouth or in this case bird.

Throughout the entire saga Ana never left Cain's lap making his legs go completely numb but he didn't mind. Cain commented on somethings that happened or filled some holes with information from the books and changes he knew of from today, but all and all they enjoyed the movie and each other's company.

By the time they finally finished it was almost 5am. But they didn't really need sleep it was more of a for comfort thing. Ana actually liked Alice's personally from the movie and she felt that they could get along as good friends like with her and Bella. This made Ana look forward to meeting her even though it will be awkward at first she was looking forward to having her first friend/sister.

...

During this night at the Cullens Alice and her family were talking about Cain. He had already told her that he wanted to keep some things secret as it didn't help anyone if they knew of them. Like him being a god and knew of things about all of them past and future. But they talked about his background from this world and that he had some mysterious powers that could help them with their problems.

Sounding really excited Carlisle questioned. "So you're saying he knows of the original vampire and to help us become more human." Being a vampire sounded nice in theory but sometimes, but it came at great suffering. Not being able to sleep, only having blood as a choice for food, and the thing that saddened his wife the most. The inability to have children of their own after the loss of her original child while she was human. He had all but given up hope to make life easier for his family.

But Alice brought back great news today from her new mate that was backed up by his other children. Alice was talking with them for most of the night back and forth about the seriousness of this situation. Alice was looking forward to tomorrow not just for family but for her as well she smiled and said. "Tomorrow we are going on a date after school he said he wanted to show me something. I will ask him more then." The others nodded and went to their own rooms.

Alice was happy to have finally found her mate and he even planed to help her family. She really wanted to know what he had planned for tomorrow. As she walked to her room she thought that even if she could sleep she doubted that she would be able to.

...

Next morning Cain was sitting on the couch in the living room watching Ana try to cook him breakfast before he went to school but was failing miserably. Being a goddess one would think she would be great at everything. However having never needing to eat before she never learn to cook but hearing Cain say he wanted breakfast she wanted to make it for him. She could of just used her abilities to make it or bring something from elsewhere but she wanted him to eat her cooking.

Having watched enough Cain walked over and started to help her while thinking. 'What am I going to do for the next few years. Ana was a shut in goddess that never really did anything and Alice only has memories of being a vampire. Grandfather please let my tastebuds live through this troubled time.' Thinking about it he couldn't help but chuckling.

After finishing the bacon and eggs he helped Ana make gave her a kiss and walked to the garage to pick out a car. His implanted memory told him they had a lot but he was still stunned by the sheer number of them. He could host a car show with all the cars in the garage. The garage was all underground so it didn't appear big from the out side but there was at least 50 cars in here. 'What was grandpa thinking, that I wanted a different car for every week or something.

Looking around for a bit he decided on blue Lamborghini Aventador. Hopping in the driver seat Twig flew in behind him turning human and turning on the radio.(bad luck by Adam Jensen because that's what I'm listening to right now) Taking his time on the way to school Cain couldn't help but ask Twig. "Why did you cause so much trouble for me yesterday I know you like pranks but that last one almost caused Ana to explode."

Twig just looked at Cain like he was a idiot. "You ignored me for most of the morning and first thing you asked was that. I do admit some of it was me messing with you but a lot of it was me helping you." Cain couldn't help but think. 'How were you helping me' As if he could feel the derision coming from Cain he continued. "Did you really want your first major discussion with Alice to be remembered the way it was heading or do you think you would of explained your relationship with Alice to Ana without saying she was just a friend."

As much as Cain hated to admit it he was right. He would of messed up the timings on a lot of things if he wasn't interrupted by Twig. Although twig came off overly childish and troublesome he understood people better than Cain. Finally accepting that he was wrong Cain apologized to Twig. Accepting rolled down the car window and turned in to a bird. Turning to Cain he said. "I know this is a big issue for you today but I'm going to leave you alone today I won't interfere in your suffering today so try not to mess it up more than you already have without my support."

Chuckling as he jumped out the window and flying of the god knows where. Cain continued to drive shaking his head. He till this day couldn't understand how such a childish individual could suddenly flip it a almost hyper analytical one at the drop of a hat.

As Cain continued thinking about what Twig said before he left. A short while later he arrived at school just on time parking beside the Cullens silver Volvo while everyone stared at his car. Putting it in park and turning off his car he looked out the window to see a smiling Alice waving at him. He smiled back at her while dreading internally what's to come.
