Author's Note – Simon's Mentality

Hello, everyone. Matheus, or MK0, here. So, I wanted to explain a bit about the mentality of the MC and why sometimes he behaves so abnormally; as if he changed personalities and seemed to be someone else from one chapter to another.

In fact, Simon Morgan is, in part, the personification of my personal issues. Not that I'm a psychopath or anything. But I've been channeling many of my frustrations onto the character.

As an author, I know that this can be quite harmful to the story, so I'm really making an effort to avoid doing things like that.

Simon Morgan is a personification of the worst parts of me: my selfishness, my perversion, and my personal insecurities. But it also takes some good things from me, like my love for my family... I think that's it? I must have other qualities. Anyway, I'm not writing this note to ask for patience or to make you feel sorry for me; that's not it. I started this story with the intention of relieving some stress from university and venting a bit.

My psychologist also thought it would be good to interact with other people outside my current circle, even if it was in this way. Sometimes I end up losing myself a bit, but I try to get back on the right track.

I don't intend to abandon the work; I'll write it until the end, so I hope you can accompany me until then.
