"Duel Research Society"

Yuji asks the silver-white hair girl that sit next to him.

"Um. I think you'll be interested"

Yuji's look at the leaflet Sakura giving him.

"We Want You!" say Kaibaman in his bubble speech, pointing his finger. Yuji smiled wryly looking at Kaibaman, it's not surprising because he kinda reminds him of Seto Kaiba.

"Hmm... the recruitment test start tomorrow, huh? Four p.m... two hours before dinner... alright, it's kinda interesting"

Sakura nodded at his words, "I knew you'll be interested"

"Oh? What are you reading? Seems interesting" ask another dual colored haired boy who just joined the conversation.

"Here" Yuji pass the leaflet to him, Jaden and the light blue haired kid Syrus start reading it.

"Duel Research Society? This is the first time I heard about this name, is this a new club?" Asked Syrus.

"Don't know" Yuji shake his head.

"It's not, the club itself has been running for three year"

"Is that so? Hm?"

Syrus and the others then shift their gaze to a certain student with yellow jacket, he suddenly joins the conversation, and it is unknown when he was sitting beside Yuji.

"Misawa? Since when are you here?" Asked Sy.

Beside Syrus, all of them also confused and curious, since when he was here listening to them.

"I've been here before you all came" say Misawa as he shocked to hear Syrus' question and looking at the surprised gaze of them all.

"I-is that so?" Syrus wryly smile.

"Then do you know about them?" Asked Yuji.

"Only a little you see..."

Misawa start to explain the thing he knew about Duel Research Society. From the name alone, it is a club that dedicate to research things related to duel monster.

Like researching a new combo for a certain deck, researching a new way to duel, researching about duel monster archetype, etc. Based on the rumor, they're even researching about the lifeforms that reside inside the DM card.

"Duel Monster Spirits? There's no way they exist" say Syrus.

"No, Sy. They exist... the spirit that reside in the card" say Yuji calmly, when he says about this his eyes gaze down, his face are solemn yet somber at the same time.

"Yuji..." Sakura calls his name, rather worried about him. To her, this is the first time that Yuji show this sad expression.

Jaden nod, "What Yuji say it's true. Believe me or not, I had one. You can also see him, right, Yuji?" Say Jaden smiling, as he points his finger to something beside him.

"..."

Sakura tilted her head, confused. Syrus and Misawa also confused, as both look at each other, gesturing if the other can see it or not.

Beside Jaden, they can't see anything in the place he's pointing at. As so, they look at Yuji, who Jaden told maybe he can see it.

But-

"I can't..." Yuji shakes his head.

"Eh?" JuJadendai surprised hearing his answer. He had very strong intuition that say Yuji can really see Duel Monsters Spirit. Not only that, this morning, he even saw his Winged Kuriboh circling Yuji happily.

"I can't see them anymore" answer Yuji smiling, "But, I see... You had one on you too, right, what is its name?" Ask Yuji with somber tone.

"It's...", Jaden take out a card from his Deck Box, and show him to Yuji,"Winged Kuriboh".

Yuji eyes widened when he saw the card, or precisely saw and hears the name Kuriboh from Jaden.

He is repeatedly opening and closing his mouth, then he finally smiles.

"Jaden", say him, as he patted Jaden's shoulder, "Take a very... VERY good care of him! Don't let anyone steals him from you, and... don't you EVER throw him" say Yuji, solemnly looking at Jaden's eyes and grip his shoulder.

Jaden are a bit speechless looking at this Yuji, "O- ouh! Don't worry! I won't do it, and I won't let anyone takes him from me" answer him, as he presses his fist on his chest like a promise between two soldiers.

Yuji nod, "Good- very good", he then let out his grip from his shoulder.

Syrus then clap his hands, to lighten the mood and to re-focusing talking about The Duel Research Society.

"Misawa-kun really knew a lot! If there's something else, you can tell us?!"

Misawa held his chin, "Let see... if there's something then... DRS is kinda like the general student of Obelisk Blue"

"You mean they are an elitist bastard" snort Yuji.

"Don't be like that, some Obelisk student aren't like that, isn't it Sakura?" Tell Jaden.

"Um" reply Sakura while nodding.

Looking at her, Yuji realized that he was indirectly bad-mouthing her, "Ah! You're right, I'll take back my words"

"Alright! Hey, tomorrow let's go met them-The Duel Research Society" suggest Jaden.

"No problem! I also want to try the strength of them DRS" say Yuji pumped up.

[And if they knew they way too...] Yuji secretly clenched his hand very hard, that his nails almost dig in to the flesh.

"If Aniki (Big Bro) is coming, then me too" nod Sy.

"I also interested in them, what kind of research and result they had come with" say Misawa.

"Um" Sakura also nod.

Across their seat, a female student with dark blond hair looking at the five of them smiling with interest.

"It's fascinating, sadly I can't join them... not until I found my brother"

Near her seat, another student with spiky black hair also look at them with interest.

[Duel Research Society? Hmph! ... Kinda interesting]

Meanwhile, at another classroom.

"Hechuu!"

A blonde twintail haired girl were sneezing loudly, her sneeze come in contact with a Stoic face, blue haired male student.

"Ah! Ahhhhh! Sorry, Zaney" clap her hands, gesturing to apologize.

"It's alright" tell him calmly, as he swept his back hair with a handkerchief.

"Uuu... I think there's someone who's talking bad about me" tell her with frustrated tone.

"It's not surprising"

"What do you mean by that?!" Shout her.

"Nothing"

The twintail girl then takes out a Chupa Chups lollipop from her pocket, opens the wrapper, then put it on her mouth.

"Ne... ne... Zaney. You really don't want to join my club?" Tell her, while slurping her lollipop.

"I say it so many times Mavis, I'm not interested" tell him calmly.

"Then, please! Please, become a guest to my club recruitment tomorrow!! If you're there, then there would be many female students that would join"

Zane sigh, "I told you, I didn't want to"

"Please! Please! Please... I'll buy you a bunch of new booster packs" beg her.

"I said no"

"Please! Please! You're my only hope! That bastard A minus is missing, and her sister even refused my invitation" beg her, as she cries, and shakes his shoulder back and forth.

"In that case, it makes me more unwilling to join"

"You damn cool looking bastard! Aren't you going to help this beautiful princess?!"

Hearing the name Princess from her, "Heh-" Zane couldn't help but to snort rather slightly.

"Don't you dare snorted at me!!"
