"Where am I?"

I open my eyes, seeing that I was surrounded by the vast darkness.

How strange but true, in this dark darkness I can still see myself very clearly.

But the strangest thing is, this darkness feel very comfortable and somewhat revoke a nostalgic feeling in my heart.

It's beckons me to sleep and forget about everything.

Just when I want to lay down, and sleep.

"Kuri"

"Huh?!"

I heard a very nostalgic voice.

"Kuri ♡ Kuri ♡"

The voice repeats, and it was getting louder and louder.

But hearing this nostalgic voice, I can't... I can't...

I clutched my chest, my heart was feeling strangely warm, like a bonfire in the middle of winter night.

A tear finally fell off from my eye, I can feel it on my cheek when it flows down.

"Kuri ♡ Kuri ♡"

I swipe the tear with my thumb, and to cheek if it was a dream, I try licking it...

"No... way"

I try to pinch my cheek, "Ouch!", it was hurtful.

"Kuri ♡ Kuri ♡"

The voice getting louder.

My body trembles hearing that voice, my breaths become rougher, and tears finally fall from both of my eyes.

"Kuri?"

I know who owns that kinda voice, and I want to turn back and see him.

"Kuri ♡ Kuri ♡"

But... I can't do it, I can't do it! I'm afraid! I'm afraid to face him!!

The voices keep coming closer and closer.

"Kuri..."

And for god's forsaken reason, I clearly UNDERSTAND that he was worried about me.

"Ah..."

I put my head down, but I still can see a strange blue figure at the hem of my eyes.

"Kuri..."

I noticed that he already in front of me. Whining worried about me.

"Kuri ♡ Kuri ♡"

His figure disappeared from my sigh, but then I felt a light pat on my head.

He pats my head slowly, and rubs my hair softly, like how a mother patted her child.

"I'm sorry..."

Tears burst out from my eyes, I can't contain it any longer. I put my hands to cover it, but the tears still slip through, and fall to the floor.

TIC. TAC. TIC. TAC

My heart beating so fast yet at the same time it was hurt, like it was being grip by an invisible hand. It didn't hurt, but I didn't like it, yet I somewhat feel refreshed.

"Kuri?!"

I drop to my knee, I can't hold these feelings any longer.

Like a dam finally broken... I cried.

"Uwaaaaaa!!! I'm sorry!!"

I'm sorry. It's just a simple word, yet... it feels very heavy...

"Kuri?! Kuri?!"

I don't want him to look at this me. I don't want to see him like this.

"I'm sorry I can't save you!!"

"I'm sorry I can't save the others!!"

Like a sore loser I am... no I maybe a sore loser... and a one pathetic crybaby at that!

Just once. Just once I want to see you, but... I don't had the right to see you.

I'm afraid to remembers those happy moments

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Rainbow Kuriboh!! I'm sorry..."

"WAKE UP!!!"

A heavy force hit Yuji right in the liver. Bringing him back to the reality.

The moment he felt the impact, he spit out a fistful amount of saliva.

Still in pain, he curled up like a ball while holding his stomach.

"You asshole!! That's hurt!!!" Cursed Yuji.

Jaden, Syrus, and Chumley relieved looking at the painful Yuji.

"Fiuh. That takes care of it!" Nod Judai.

I'm glad, he wakes up" say Sy, as he swipes his forehead.

Chumley looking at the two juniors smile wryly, looking worried at the painful Yuji, "Isn't that too much?"

"Don't worry! Don't worry! He's f-"

"I'm not fine, you damn monkey!"

Cursed Yuji, looking at Jaden with angry eyes.

"See? He's alright" say Jaden.

Yuji didn't know if Judai is truly obvious (idiot), or purposely do it to lighten the mood.

"Why are you here? Wait- how can you get here?! I remember I lock the door last night!" Ask Yuji, shocked and a bit scared.

"Well..." Syrus scratches his head, his gaze then turn toward the door.

Yuji then follows his gaze, and can't help but to gasp.

He saw that the door is completely broken, like a SWAT team just enter his house like a terrorist he is.

"..." Yuji gazes at the broken door, his eyes bulging like a mountain, and mouth drop gaping like a cave.

"You must be kidding me..." whisper him tired, as he held his head.

Jaden start explaining, "Well, you see... uhm, when we're going to the school. We... uh hears loud cries... we thought that something bad to you and then-"

"You broke my door!" Shout Yuji.

"We can't help it! You seem like in constant pain, and we can't even find Professor Lyman Banner to help unlock your room" say Jaden.

"But you broke my door!" Shout Yuji, again.

The third year Slifer Red student Chumley step in, "Enough about that! We can fix your door later! Right now, you should quickly change! We're gonna late if we just sit here" say him, as he show what time is it on his PDA.

"Ah, ahh!"Yuji quickly gets off from his bed and changes, he didn't have the time to brush his teeth, or any delicate matter. So he just munch a bunch of Cherry flavored candy to fragrance his breath, and spray a lot of perfume on his body and uniform.

Seeing Yuji panicked bring a smile to the three of them.

"Okay, done! Let's go!" Say Yuji, after he finished changing.

"What about the door?!" Syrus asked.

"Just... put it on the entrance!" ordered him.

All of them exit from Yuji's room, and they close the entrance with the broken door.

Without further ado, they quickly left the dorm, then run toward the school.

Winged Kuriboh: Kuri~

A Winged round monster with chestnut fur comes out from Jaden's deck.

"Uh? What is it, Winged Kuriboh?" Asked him.

But The Winged Kuriboh didn't answer him, and he was happily flying around circling Yuji, like he met a dear long-lost family or friend.

Jaden confused by his partner's behavior, but then smiles, as he's looking at his happy partner, and Yuji who is completely oblivious of his partner's antics.

"As I though, studying in Duel Academy is... really fun!"
