Chapter 30

Vox walked into Grey Terminal, although it was burned down in the past, time reverts everything to its origin, and Grey Terminal was once again a junkyard. Although there are not many people left, there are enough left for Vox to make a group here. Vox decided to do a simple way of recruiting people. He does not need them, all he needs from them is to be a front, When the plot starts, he will cleanse the bad apples and groom the good ones, until then, he will have to get rid of all other underground organizations in East blue.

Vox simple announced great Pay for anyone who joins the family, then he added more benefits for those with good results. After around a month of recruiting and killing the maniacs, Vox was left with a little over 200 people join his Family.

As for he would get the money, it was very obvious where. The enemy organization who are gonna be destroyed. Vox proceeded to train all of them for 2 months and after that time he was left with only 50, the rest all quite and fled. But Vox didn't care about them. His training was extremely harsh, all to get those determined to get stronger to actually try and not be useless and run when fights starts.

He continued to train them for a total of 1 year, making his stay in Dawn Island 1 year and 1 month. He also had the rest of the kids added to the guild function and all but Inara came out to start the operation. Each starting at a different place far from the others. Vox went back to give them some cards and a few monsters to accompany.

When Vox gives them cards, be gets points. Every 2 cards nets him 500 points, so Vox opened 8 packs total and some cards made him elated. 3 particular cards made him happy and emotional.

Those 3 were Dark Magician, Dark Magician Girl and Blue Eyes White Dragon. He made the Magician duo accompany Wendy and Wright, although it saddened Vox to have these S&M team up, their team work was impeccable and both of them were very strong. Besides, he made sure Dark Magician punishes Wright if anything happens, he was ordered to just ignore Wendy and Punish Wright even more.

Why? Because he wants Wright to not his sister, but he very much doubt it will happen.

Sam and Kahn were together as a group as well, they got Psy and Blue Eyes White Dragon to be their guardians. Psy can heal, and Vox gave her the oke sign to banish trap cards if she had to use her healing ability. While Blue Eyes is their ride and a guardian.

Eric and Alan were the last group, the two of them are great at team work, with Alan's Wish Wish Fruit and Eric's insane sniping skills, not many could match them. Not to mention that Alan was a great hand to hand fighter as he was trained by Karate Man himself.

Their guardians were not strong but more utility based. They had Silver(Cyber Dragon) and Forma accompany them. Cyber Dragon was insanely good at dodging around, with Eric on top of it sniping, making it very hard to catch Eric but he can hit you whenever and wherever. Forma was there to fight off groups, neither Eric or Alan were great at fighting a group of people, so Forma was there to clean up the small fries.

Inara and Night Wing came with Vox to Dawn Island. Karate Man and some other teachers were left there to train the new batch of kids. During the last year, Samuel and the two sisters cleaned their starting island and many slaves were freed. With Vox's permission, any kid below 16 years and had no family to return to, was sent to the their island, Which Wendy for once had a good idea and called it Hope Island. As it gave hope to the unfortunate that were sent there. Those above 16 were directly put in their ranks if they wanted, otherwise they got some Beli and were left to fend for themselves, after all, it was their choice.

Right now on Hope Island, there were about 500 children training there under multiple monster cards that Vox got and made them train. Cards that were capable of speaking, and teaching. Them being strong was not a requirement. Which made it obviously clear that most teachers were level 4 or below monster cards, only a few were higher than that.

Going back to Dawn island, Vox was very happy with how his trainees ended up. from the poor, malnourished people, the looked like veteran killers. They were disciplined with the rules of the Skaarf Family like all the others.

"Alright people, tomorrow we start a cleansing. Remember the rules and don't break them! those who do will get punished accordingly! And REMEMBER! STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE MOUNTAINS AND VILLAGES UNTIL I TELL YOU OTHERWISE! CLEAR!?" Vox looked at all of them sternly. The last thing he wants was to change the plot because of an idiot. He needs the war at Marineford to happen, that war is his key to take over the 4 seas!

"Yes!" All 50 of them shouted in unison.

"Good, now go and enjoy yourselves tonight." Vox turned and left with Ina and Night Wing.

Back inside his house, Vox could not help but shake his head. 'How fast they grow, it feels like yesterday that she was so small.' Patting Ina's head, Vox lifted up and went to his study, there Samuel was sitting.

"What are you here for Samuel?" Vox asked as he played with Inara's hair

"Hello big brother Samuel!" Inara waved at her while still in Vox's embrace.

"Hello little sister, how are have you been! You have grown so big!" Samuel smiled and walked towards her and patted her head. Inara was everyone's little princess, although she trained as well. Everyone treated her like a princess, she was just that cute.

"Hihihi" Inara giggled cutely.

"Night Wing, take Ina for a bath." Vox handed Inara to Night Wing who nodded and left.

"So, why are you here Samuel?" Vox said as he sat down pouring himself a glass of rum.

"Is there a way to let the...cards... be human?" Samuel looked at Vox with expectations, he did not know how Vox got the cards to transform into humans, and he did not care. For him, whatever Vox does, he will support him.

"Yes, but it is hard and I am not certain if I will be able to." Vox drank his glass empty and poured himself another one.

"Can you tell me? I don't care how hard it is." Samuel spoke with determination

"Is it for Psy?" Vox did not look at him, he is not stupid, he is very well aware of his cards desire to grow stronger, but he doesn't care for that. What he cares for is the cards that got attached to the kids and himself. That was the true problem. He knew Psy loved Samuel, anyone could see that. He also knew how Night Wing felt for him, but he truly did not want to give them false hope. After all, it is just a theory.

"Yes, I wish for her to live a normal life. My sister loves to be with her and she seems down everytime they meet. It saddens me seeing her in that state." Samuel sighed as he remembered her look, he didn't know why, but his heart hurt whenever he saw her like that. He went to see a doctor to see if he had any heart conditions, but it all turned out negative. So he thought to make her happy, then maybe he won't feel that feeling.

"One way is for Alan to grow strong enough to Wish for her to be normal person instead of a card, but that wish will most definitly cost him his life, such a wish can not be accomplished with strength alone."

"What is the other way?"

"The other way is this card." Vox smiled and took out a card from his hand. It was a monster card.

"I already have collected 3 pieces. I need 2 more and I can summon him" Vox smiled as he looked at the excited Samuel, then he calmed down and realized a problem.

"But..Night Wing, she deserves the same chance as Psy... She was there even before Psy." Samuel smiled wryly.

"Don't worry about it, you are my little brother. If there is no other way, I will wish for Psy to be a real person." Vox patted his shoulder. Night Wing will be with him forever, that is a fact. Although he has no romantic feelings for her right now, he does want to grant her the wish to grow in strength. Night Wing is his best friend and he could not see her sad. But the matters of the heart can't played with.

"I.."

"Go and proceed the operation, leave the rest to me. Also, don't tell anyone. I am not certain if Exodia can even grant the wish." Samuel thanked him again and gave him a hug before leaving back to do his part.

Time passed and before long, it was the day for Luffy to set to sea and for Vox to finally start.
