Both boys step foot into the school, earning many glances and stares. "Hyung, I saw the sign. Let's go to the principal's office first." Sunoo saw many students, that had brown, yellow, purple, and blue ties and nametags. They just stare intensely at both boys. Mutters traveled to Sunoo's ears, "Wow, Golden? I never thought I would see a golden student in my life."
Bruh. Was a golden tag that nice to have? Literally almost everyone paved the way for Sunoo and Niki to walk forward, finally landing at the office. Walking in the teacher at the corner caught a glimpse of both boys, shaking their hand so roughly, before getting them to sit.
"You guys must be Niki and Sunoo! Very nice to meet you! I'm Mr Hwang, the principal of Seung Bu High. Chairman Kim should have told you guys what can and can't be done here in the school, and since you are the only ones that are golden, you guys have the right to use any school property and facility to your own use, thanks to Chairman Kim. There are two private chefs from the Kim Mansion in the cafe for both of you to eat whatever you like during recess and lunch. I hope you learn enjoy your time here!" Taking their schedules with them, Niki whispers to Sunoo on their way out, "Why does Abbeoji hold so much power everywhere?" "Being the 25th richest man in the world, anyone would do anything to be in good terms with him. For the money bro."
Niki rolls his eyes in annoyance at Sunoo's comment, before walking down the walkway. "Remember, your father told me to remind both of you, no interaction with the brown kids. They have the lowest status. The best is blue, 2nd purple, and 3rd yellow." That line just irritated Sunoo to the max, but he could only play within his father's books, or god knows what will happen to him.
Curious at people's colour labels, both boys saw a group of 5 blue tagged students saunter down the walkway, everyone also clearing the way for them. "Trouble on its way here," Sunoo mutters, pulling Niki into their classroom, not wanting to be spotted.
Walking in, two metallic coloured tables, as well as two very comfy chairs were prepared for both boys, with their name on the table, placed at the back of the classroom. "What's wrong with using the school's one? Why must we use a specialized one?" Sunoo whispers quietly to himself, before sitting.
Just then, the bell rings. Everyone running to their spots. Five minutes into the class, the teacher wasn't here yet, as the same 5 boys walk into the class. "Oh no," Niki was in fear. It seemed that there were 5 empty seats in front of the two, and that was exactly where the 'blue boys' should be heading to.
"Kim. . . Sunoo and. . . Niki," The boy with mint hair read out, sitting down, facing both the boys. "Golden tags? Interesting. . . I'm Seokbin, blue tag." He points to his nametag, beside his blue tie. "Niki. . . Where's your tie?" Niki couldn't be bothered to look at him, "Forgot."
As soon as Niki muttered that, Seokbin turns around as the teacher walks in, shouting, "Ssem(teacher), he forgot to bring his tie!" The annoying green haired boy just turns around smirking at Niki, but was surprised at the teacher's reaction.
"Oh,... Niki and... Sunoo, right? I'm so sorry for Seokbin's attitude, stand up, Joo Seokbin!" As if he was accused wrongly, the green haired boy just got punished for nothing, but even the teachers and staff of the school were told to leave the Sunoo and Niki alone, and just focus on their studies.
Upset at the move their teacher did to him, Seokbin gets upset, and shot eyes at both boys. "You both, are something, huh. Find me during lunch." He grunts. Both of them ignore the annoying boy in front of them, focusing in class.
Lunch soon came. "Hyung, are we really going to see him?" Niki asks in worry. "I'll handle it, Niki. Just go and eat first." Seokbin and his 4 so called friends came to the boys' table. Niki quickly walks away to buy their meal, as the 5 boys sat down.
"Kim Sunoo." Sunoo being Sunoo, he couldn't hide his fear that well. "What." Before he could react, the poor boy got pulled out of his seat, flunked to the wall, causing a commotion, right in the cafeteria.
Niki watched from afar in fear, not wanting to go back to their table. "Listen up, gold tag. I don't care if you're golden, but you are way to weak to be even a purple, or blue, don't even talk about golden. Stop finding problems for me and my guys, ass. So weak." Seokbin wraths out at Sunoo, pulling his shotgun out from his side pocket, firing an empty bullet hole right beside Sunoo' head, landing a punch on the boy's cheek.
"You jerk. You tried to get my brother into trouble, and you got exactly what you deserved." Sunoo retaliates, pushing Seokbin off him. Grabbing his belongings, he took Niki and their food walking away.
"H...hyung, are you okay? Your cheek," There was a deep cut and bruise on Sunoo's face. The two rush Sunoo to the infirmary, blood dripping down his cheek, as Sunoo remained in a daze. I'm...weak?
Sunoo's mind had thoughts after thoughts, as the nurse patched up his face. "The cut is quite deep, I have stitched him up, the bruise will fade as the cut heals. Take care, don't let your cheek touch water for at least 2 weeks." The nurse's words seemed to not register in Sunoo's mind, Niki thanks the nurse before they walk out.
"hyung... HYUNG!" Sunoo flinches, and just nods. "I'm fine, Niki ah," Sunoo heaves a sigh of relief, the numbness did not fade away, as half his face is patched up. "6 hyung, 6 stitches and you're okay? Why didn't you dodge or fight back? He had a gun!" Niki seemed upset, but he was more concerned. Sunoo just shuts him up with his body language, thinking over and over about what Seokbin mentioned. "Niki ah, do you think I'm... weak?"
Niki was a bit puzzled, "You are perfect just the way you are, hyung. But I think we should get stronger, people here are evil, and strong. And greedy." Niki's comment had Sunoo think even more, making their way home after their last class.
