Thanks For Not Giving Pt. 2

Everyone sat quiet at the table, and Kai couldn't do anything, but stare at Jinn. What had possessed him to say that? Was making up a story the best way to prove to his Mother that Kai was good enough? It didn't sit right with Kai at all. As Kai's mind ran a million miles per minute, he suddenly felt a hand on his thigh under the table, that was most likely Jinn's way of asking him to remain calm.

"Japan?" asked Art, a serious look on his face. Kai and Art made eye contact momentarily before Kai looked away.

"And you intend to go?", asked Mrs. Wilkins.

"I…I haven't decided yet." Kai said, having no choice, but to play along.

"You are handsome, but what good is that when you have nothing else to offer to this relationship?! I am sure you are no homemaker; you cannot have children and your commitment is questionable! Take that job in Japan and give Jinn the chance to have a real family!" Mrs. Wilkins voice roared, it echoing throughout the dining room.

"Martha! That is enough, give the kid a break! It is thanksgiving for goodness sake!" Mr. Wilkins shouted, and Mrs. Wilkins let out, "hmmph!", stabbing the food on her plate roughly.

"Everyone, please eat and calm down, enough about these matters!", Mrs. Wilkins said firmly and continued eating.

Kai began to tap his leg over and over, sitting absolutely still as he felt Jinn's grip on his thigh tighten. Kai's blood was boiling, but what right did he have be this upset when in his mind the woman was right? What else could he offer Jinn besides sex and good company? He wasn't that great at cooking, he cleaned, but of course Jinn was better at it then he was and what about children? Did Jinn want to have children? They had never had the discussion, but of course Kai couldn't bare any of his own. Staring at his full plate, Kai picked up his fork, his hands unsteady as they began to shake. Kai's heart began to race, and his eyes were watering, was he about to have a panic attack? Looking up at everyone around him, Kai could only see grim looks on everyone's faces, a dark cloud hovering above the Thanksgiving table as they stared down at their plates, all but Art who was still eyeing him intensely. With trembling hands, Kai put his fork down, closing his eyes for a moment he finally stood up, leaving the table, and running toward the bathroom that was on the first floor. Quickly closing the door and locking it, Kai slowly allowed himself to slide against the bathroom door, sinking onto the floor as he breathed heavily. Putting his knees up to his chest Kai took deep breaths, cradling his arms around his legs as he did his best to be quiet as he sniffled, but the tears kept falling.

"Kai!", the door handle jiggled, and a knocked sounded on the door, Jinn on the other side of it. "Kai, please open the door.", he spoke again.

Sniffling Kai wiped his eyes, but it proved a waste of time as he couldn't stop crying, "Go away please.", Kai finally managed to speak, his voice shaky.

"Kai, please.", Jinn pleaded as he pressed his forehead against the door, he could hear how upset Kai was on the other side and it was breaking his heart.

"I just...I just need a minute. Go back to dinner, I'll be out soon okay?" said Kai.

"I'm not leaving you Kai.", said Jinn and Kai could hear the raw emotion in his voice as he spoke.

After a while, Kai had finally managed to calm himself down with Jinn still silently waiting on the other side of the door. Standing up, Kai grabbed a tissue and began wiping his face that was extremely red by now, no amount of wiping would be able to hide that. Taking a deep breath, Kai exhaled heavily and opened the bathroom door to see Jinn, his blue eyes watering and a sad expression. Jinn reached his arms out to hug Kai, but Kai raised his hand, "Don't, let's just go.", he said softly. Letting out a sigh, Jinn nodded moving aside and following Kai toward the front door.

"Wait!", said a voice as they were about to leave. Jinn turned around to see Jenna and Mr. Wilkins walking up behind them with bags in their hands while Kai hadn't stopped, continuing out of the house.

"We packed a lot food for you, plus desserts.", said Mr. Wilkins handing the bags to Jinn.

"Thanks Dad.", said Jinn. His Dad wrapped his arms around his son, "Lets have brunch soon huh? Just you, Kai and me." And Jinn nodded.

"Sounds good." Jinn responded and after getting a big hug from Jenna, he finally left the Wilkins home.

When Jinn got to the car, Kai was leaning against it staring at the ground, looking like a kicked puppy. Sighing, Jinn pressed the button, unlocking the car and the two got in, Jinn placing the food in the back seat. Starting the ignition, he pulled off.

The two had been riding for a moment and neither one of them had said a word. Jinn kept glancing over from time to time as he drove, while Kai kept staring out of the window.

"Kai.", he finally spoke.

"…"

"I honestly don't know what to say. I'd apologize, but I don't even know if that'd be enough at this point."

"…" Kai remained quiet, still staring out of the window.

"Babe please don't shut me out.", said Jinn, practically begging.

"Why'd you say that? Why'd you tell them that I had a job opportunity in Japan? Was that the only thing you could come up with? All you did was give your Mother another reason to want me out of your life.", Kai finally spoke.

Letting out a heavy sigh first, Jinn spoke, "that's because you do."

Snapping his head at Jinn, Kai was in disbelief, "what?!", he raised his voice.

"It's why I've been so moody, I've been worried about bringing it up to you.", said Jinn.

"And you thought now was the best time to bring it up?" Kai yelled.

"I wasn't thinking clearly back there. I lose my shit when anyone attacks the man, I love like that.", said Jinn, raising his voice as well.

"Pull over!", Kai yelled.

"Kai calm down, I'm not gonna pull over!", Jinn yelled back.

"Do not tell me to fucking calm down! Pull the fuck over!", Kai yelled, his voice shaky as tears swelled in his eyes. Jinn glanced at Kai and seeing how upset he was Jinn felt he didn't have a choice. Putting on his turning signal, Jinn pulled over to the side of the road and put his blinkers on. Kai roughly pushed open the door, jumping out of the car and stormed off.

"Dammit!" Jinn cursed as he got out of the car, following behind Kai "Can you stop being so dramatic? Where the fuck are you going?"

"Away from you!" Kai yelled as he power walked.

"Why is he so damn immature when he's upset?" Jinn thought. Letting out a growl, he ran after Kai wrapping his arms around his emotional boyfriend.

"Let me go!" Kai yelled, as tears streamed down his face.

"Kai stop! Stop it! If you want to be mad at me then fine, but don't go walking off in the middle of fucking nowhere, it's God damn nighttime!" Jinn shouted. Kai finally managed to get away from Jinn and spun around, "why didn't you tell me? You made me feel like a damn idiot in front of everyone!", Kai yelled.

"I was defending you! It was you who wanted to come, not me, remember?!" Jinn yelled back.

"So, this is all my fault?! I did this for you, not for me!" Kai yelled, outraged, by what Jinn had just said.

"No, that's not what I..", Jinn said walking toward Kai to hug him, but Kai slapped his hands away.

"Fuck you! Fuck you and your family!" Kai yelled, maneuvering around Jinn and making his way back to the car.

"Kai! Fuck!", Jinn yelled following behind him. The two got back in the car and drove the rest of the way home in silence, this would most certainly be a Thanksgiving that neither of them would ever forget.

When the two got home, Kai changed his clothes, got in bed and threw the blanket over his head. Jinn kept sighing as he changed his clothes too hopping into bed. "Kai, please don't act like that. Yell at me if you want dammit, but please don't ignore me!", said Jinn, firmly.

"Leave me alone Jinn.", Kai responded, his voice muffled by the blanket over his head.

"Are you really that upset with me or is this really about what my Mother said?"

"…", Kai sighed heavily, truthfully, he was a lot angrier about what Jinn's Mother had said to him, but he didn't appreciate Jinn throwing him for a loop like that either.

"Babe please talk to me, I don't want to go to bed like this.", said Jinn, softening his voice.

Letting out a sigh, Kai sat up taking the blanket off of his head and turning toward Jinn, his face and eyes still quite red. "I'm not a homemaker, I can't make this place feel more at home. I'm not that great at cooking and I can't give you kids, I can't be everything that you need.", Kai finally spoke, his eyes watering.

"Have I ever asked you to redecorate our apartment and add your personal touch? Have I ever asked you to be great at cooking or figure out how to pop out kids? Hell, baby I don't even know if I want kids and if I did, we would just adopt some. I told you that you are my little sun and I meant that, being with you is home for me."

Kai's eyes began to water, and Jinn pulled him close, "what you give me now is all that I've ever wanted from you and nothing more. Sure, you're a little firecracker, but that's one of the things that I love about you."

"But what about Tomo Kan?" Kai asked as tears finally streamed down his face.

Jinn let out a sigh before responding, "Can we not talk about that right now?"

Hearing this, all Kai could do is allow Jinn to hold him as the tears fell, he was completely overwhelmed with the events that had happened tonight.

"Let me ease your mind.", said Jinn laying Kai down. He began to nibble on Kai's ear, causing him to let out a soft moan as he continued on down his neck. Lifting Kai's shirt, Jinn swirled his tongue around Kai's right nipple, sucking on it gently.

"Mmn.", Kai moaned softly, biting his bottom lip, but Jinn didn't stop there. Jinn's left-hand caressed Kai's abdomen as he slid it downward into Kai's underwear, his hardening length getting larger in Jinn's hand. Jinn began to stroke it, and Kai let out a gasp, quickly closing his mouth to muffle the sound.

Let it out babe.", Jinn whispered as he slid his body downward, his face going ever so closely to Kai's throbbing length. Opening his mouth, Jinn slowly enveloped Kai's entire member as he began to bob his head up and down. Bringing his hand downward, Jinn began to stroke as he sucked.

"Shit..", Kai cursed.

Slowly taking Kai's length from his mouth, Jinn stroked Kai's length in his hand as he wiggled his tongue around Kai's sack for a while.

Putting Kai's length back into his mouth, Jinn began to suck faster and harder this time.

"Mn...fuck..", Kai moaned softly, lifting his head to look at Jinn for a moment. He then fell backward, laying there staring at the ceiling as his eyes began to water. His mind had gone blank from the pleasure that had overtaken his body, but for some reason the tears kept coming.
