Elena's Pov

watching the tress and snow from the window

It's been almost five years ago since here bundle of joy was born. Iam very happy with my life only thing that was missing was my husband Ignutus . He left me in this village when i was 4 months pregnant with child saying that he would be back saying that he had a family matter to take care of .we married against the wishes our family ran away from home with just few franks in our hand.its been 20 years since we got married.

I still remember the day we first met in a pub when the world war 2 was about to begin. Entire France was in terror and fear because of hitler. I was working in the bar as a part time worker he started coming there frequently. when ever he came he would initiate conversation with me one or the other way .He never discussed about his family all I knew was his name and he was part of the army. It continued like this for nearly 5 months we became close to each other and started liking each other .One day he proposed me for marriage I was shocked . I wasn't expecting that although I liked him I knew nothing about him(I.e his family). I rejected his proposal he didn't say anything I didn't see him for few months I felt very anxious in my heart which I never felt before . I thought maybe this was true love.

One fine day he came to the pub and asked me why his proposal was rejected. I said to him that I knew nothing about his family or background or whether he was an orphan. He then explained to me that He came from england His parents were rich and well respected family .He said he was there only child. As we were discussing about each other's life we didn't care about time. And I still didn't know how it happened we kissed each other and wola when I woke up next day I was with him in bed naked. That was wonderful night we had it still lingers in my mind today. That very day afternoon he took me to church and we got married.

which was biggest mistake we did I think because we should have taken our parents permission .well what can we expect at time we were in 20's young and rebellious (he was 23 and I was 20). Then I took him to my parents when they came to know they just kicked him out of our house ( I was detained in my house temporarily). Then he decided to tell his parents when his passed details of marriage his parents were mad and said they would simply kill the girl if he was with her. Then we ran away from home they were behind us searching for almost 13 years.

I loved him so much he left everything for me .we had a happy life going as we traveled from city to city / country to country exploring the world .Our only problem was we were unable to convince a child. So we decided to settle down in Vienna in 1952 and started planning for children. After nearly 2 years I was convinced.we were both so happy Ignutus was so happy dancing with joy.he was continuously drunk for 3 days.we didn't share this news with any person we thought that it's better to keep to ourselves until our child was born.

But in my 3rd month we had an un expected guest. He was my husband s friend mobius. He introduced himself and gave a letter to Ignutus. They both went outside I didn't know what happened . After coming back my husband said it's regarding his family .He needs to go ( I never questioned him what it was because I believed him it must be dangerous otherwise he would have shared the information). So he settled me down in this village before leaving.

He promised me that at best case it would take atleast 4 years to settle all the things and come back. now it's more than five years .This was all I remember.

watching the tree nearby I just remembered all this again .Elena with a sign " Hope you come back husband our son is growing fast he needs you."
