Yan Yuan sighed as he felt a silent gaze upon him, he remembered when Xu Lanfeng was a little girl and sighed.

If not for the things that happened when she was about to ascend, Xu Lanfeng could have become an immortal.

A deep frown appeared on Xu Chou's face as he heard what his wife had to say while looking at her daughter's request.

"You mean to tell me the Fate Region suddenly closed itself off?" asked Xu Chou, while thinking about some things.

"As you are not a Dao Saint you can not feel it, the entirety of the Fate region would be inaccessible for some time, those old guys probably divined something pretty bad for them to be so worried," said Wu Jing as she drank a cup of tea.

Xu Chou suddenly sent a jade slip towards Wu Jing, the moment she read it, a deep frown appeared on Wu Jing's face.

Xu Yue wanted to go to the fate region.

Upon seeing this, Wu Jing then immediately began using her power to see if there was something wrong with the message, and a few moments later she accepted it, knowing that Xu Yue created it using her spiritual sense.

"Her luck can't be this bad," asked Xu Chao, causing Wu Jing to shake her head.

"While I did feel some relation between her luck and this, it was not the main cause for this to happen, it only helped it along a little bit, it seems that Xu Yue is slightly unfortunate," said Wu Jing.

"Also, even though it will be more difficult than in there, comprehending the Dao of Fate outside of the region is not impossible," continued Wu Jing, a confident look on her face.

A while later

As she finished talking with her parents, Xu Yue let out a slight smile, having confirmed her deductions.

"I will comprehend the Dao of Fate," mumbled Xu Yue with a smile on her face.

After a few moments, calm look replaced the smile on Xu Yue's face, she then appeared right next to Yue before beginning a long discussion.

A few days later,

Walking out of a room in her cave abode, Xu Yue slightly waved her left hand, causing Ming Yun to appear right next to her.

Looking at Ming Yun, the first thing Xu Yue noticed was her cultivation base, as slight smile appeared on her face as she saw that Ming Yun had reached the peak of the Soul Enlightenment realm.

Based on her talent she would need at most a few years to reach the Qi Refining Realm, as such, she was not worried that she would leave her maid too much behind, especially with what she planned to do.

"Ming Yun," said Xu Yue with a slight smile on her face.

"I will be going into another seclusion in around a month, you will need to take care of the cave abode in that period," continued Xu Yue as she lightly touched Ming Yun's face.

"I understand Senio Sister, I will do my best," said Ming Yun with a smile on her face.

In another location, while gritting his teeth, Ling Chen got up and looked at his opponent, even with his body that was refined by the Five Treasures Pagoda, he still struggled to defeat him.

Suddenly, his opponent who had lost consciousness previously, suddenly disappeared.

While Ling Chen frowned, he did not worry too much, as the two of them had not revealed their true appearences.

In another location

After what seemed like an endless amount of time, Yun Che finally managed to wake up, the moment he did so, he looked around warily, only relaxing after seeing that he was in his ever so familiar cave abode.

"Damn it," shouted Yun Che as he examined his body.

"These injuries will take a few months to heal," mumbled Yun Che silently thanked the armor he obtained from the Trial Pagoda.

Without it, against the kind of monster he had just fought against he would have actually died, remembering the exaggerated strength of his opponent's body he suddenly sighed.

He silently reminded himself to be more careful the next time he entered the Battle Trial, the amount of arrogance he had now could have led him to his death.

"I will soon reach the Soul Nourishing Stage, I shouldn't go out of the sect anymore, at least not until I reach Soul Consolidation," mumbled Yun Che as he urged his aching body to get up.

He then took out several healing pills from his Spatial Bag and stuffed them into his mouth.
