After making a call Mirai tossed her phone towards her brother Yuuki. "Hey YUUKI! Is it true, is it really true?! Have you finally succumbed to my awesome charm?!"
Hearing the excited voice of the person on the other side of the phone made Yuuki feel a slight sense of fear. It was the same fear he felt when he faced his elder brother Alex in battle. Still, even though he was a bit frightened, but as a Samarita, nay as a person with pride Yuuki didn't want to stay passive.
"I haven't succumbed to anyone's charm especially not yours," Yuuki responded in a stern tone.
"Oh, here it is Yuuki's Tsundere act! How about you stop being Tsun Tsun and start being Dere Dere." Despite Yuuki's stern response, the person on the other side of the phone received it warmly.
"I'm not a Tsundere alright! Enough of this, will you help us out or not?"
"Did he get stronger again?" The girl's voice suddenly changed tone as she asked her question.
"..."
"I see, so that guy became stronger again. Well, not that I like to admit it but there's no other reason you twins would call me willingly if that wasn't the case. Yup, as long as Yuuki remains Tsun Tsun he would never call his loving girlfriend aka me if that weren't the case."
"Who the hell are you calling my girlfriend?!" Yuuki couldn't help but shout out, as he thought the conversation was getting serious he wasn't ready for that sudden turn.
"Oh my, no need to shout. I already know that I'm your girlfriend no need to scream it at me. Well, if you want to shout it to the world then I can only shyly take it in. Since I'm such a humble woman, I'll be embarrassed but if that's what you want to do, then so be it."
"Who the hell is a humble woman?! You keep on saying crap that doesn't make a lick of sense!" Yuuki got angrier and angrier as he shouted at the phone.
"Well, enough jokes." 'You're the one joking around!' Yuuki screamed in his mind. As usual, the girl on the other line called Samantha Kirche was doing everything at her own pace.
"So you called me because of that monster of a guy, that claims that he has no talent whatsoever but continuously casually brushes off common sense as if it doesn't exist, once again became stronger. Seriously he keeps on feeling depressed and all that because he doesn't have any supernatural abilities, but among the current generation isn't he simply a cheat? Why does he even feel bad about his condition? Also, he keeps on saying that he got to where he was because of hard work? Is he stupid? If you can get that strong from simply working hard, then humanity should've won the war against the monsters long ago."
Samantha suddenly started to say a tirade of complaints regarding Sigmund. Yuuki who could actually feel the anger and irritation Samantha was feeling didn't say a word as he just listened to Samantha complain for a few minutes.
"Alright now that I got that out of my chest, I'll give you an answer. Of course, I will help you two catch up to that self-pitying b*stard! No, I'll help you go even beyond that!... Well, that's what I would normally say, but of course, I'm not going to do this for free."
Yuuki who was getting excited because Samantha agreed to help them, was now feeling depressed when he heard her say that it wasn't for free.
"What do you want?" Yuuki reluctantly asked in a very severe tone.
"Of course I want a date! But not just any date, I want a dinner date in one of the finest restaurants in the district. I also want Yuuki to wear formal wear and as we are eating by the candlelight I want you to praise me. Then after we eat, I want to head to the highest point in the district so that we can see the lights of the city down below, while you whisper sweet nothings into my ear! Then when all of that is over, I want you to bring me back to your place and then take me!"
Samantha suddenly spoke in a fast pace as she excitedly told Yuuki her dream date.
"Hey, what the hell are you asking a high school student without a job to do?! Also, the second half of what you want is a no-go no matter how much you beg."
"Oh come on now, you're the child of the Samaritas you guys are pretty much one of the richest families in humanity. Surely you can reserve a whole restaurant if you wanted too."
"It's my mom and older siblings that are rich, not me. So you need to keep your expectations on level that a high school student with only a little bit more money than the average student could handle."
"... Fine, then I want to eat at that new restaurant that opened up in the fifth district. Also, I still want you to say sweet nothings in my ear, and take me to your house and have your way with me."
"I can take you to that new restaurant, and I will pay for the meal. But the other part of your request is a no-go."
"Then how about a kiss?"
"Still no..."
"HOW COME!... Fine, then how about a hug and a pat on the head." Yuuki who heard that still didn't want to do it, but if he denies her too much Samantha might not help anymore. Also, that was the most tolerable request she has made.
"...Alright, I can agree to that." Hearing Yuuki's response, Samantha screamed.
"DEAL! I'll be coming over right now!" Samantha excitedly answered as she hanged up. After the whole conversation, Yuuki looked at his sister a bit tired by the ordeal. Yuuki tossed Mirai's phone back to her.
"Thanks for your hard work." Mirai smiled mischievously at her twin brother.
Tsundere (ツンデレ, pronounced [tsɯndeɾe]) is a Japanese term for a character development process that depicts a person who is initially cold (and sometimes even hostile) before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time. The word is derived from the terms tsun tsun (ツンツン) ('to turn away in disgust or anger') and dere dere (デレデレ) ('to become affectionate').
