Examination day pt. 3

Friday, 06:00 a.m. in the morning and everyone woke up except Peter he seems very tired and his clothes are slightly ripped. They noticed it and just wait for him to wake up to ask him.

Chloe tapped Arvin. "A... Arvin What could possibly happened to him?" She asked in a worried tone.

Arvin holds his chin adn think for a while...

"I think after... when we fell asleep last night he encountered some hybrid animals. " He said in a bit of confusion.

They walked for a bit to get some fresh air. While they're doing this, numerous of the students has been eliminated and the numbers of active examiners are shrinking.

"Uwahhhh..." Peter yawned as he woke up.

He noticed that Chloe and Arvin are not there. He swiftly get up and find his teammates.

Meanwhile, Chloe and Arvin seems enjoying their walking not until they saw someone's fighting. They saw two teams competing against each other's prey. Behind them is a hybrid animal worth 110 points and it's not moving.

"Leave that hybrid animal and you are free to go. " The attacker student said full of confidence and threatened them.

"Huhhh?! Are you out of your mind?!"

-"We put so much effort just to catch this! "

-"And you're telling us to let it go?! Hah! What a joke! "

"Hoho! It seems talking is is futile." He said while preparing to attack.

-"HAHAHA! "

-"What do we do now, leader? Kill them? KEKEKE."

"Sighhh... We want to avoid fighting as much as possible but you leave us no choice." He said while also preparing to attack.

Both teams are already waiting for each other's move to attack.

The team who caught the hybrid animals are all in a position waiting for their leader to command then to attack. While the attackers rushed towards them and used all their hybrid technique.

"Rahhh! Spotted Hyena's Hunting Mechanism: Dark Crunch!"

"Haah! Roaahh! Brown Bear's Hunting Mechanism: Mountain Slam! "

HAHAHA! "Timberwolf's Hunting Mechanism: Alpha Howl! " After he used his hybrid mechanism all of his teammates' hybrid power suddenly increased.

The team who caught the hybrid animal seems unfazed.

HAHAHA! "Do you intend to stop us? All alone? You're underestimating us!"

Their leader moved forward intending to block the attacks. Sighhh... "I told you... We don't want to fight but it can't be helped. Barbary Lion's Defense Mechanism: Pride Crusher Howl!"

Despite their combined attack in order to take him down they didn't do any damage to him not a single scratch.

The leader of attacker couldn't believed what he saw. "I... Imposible! H... How? We attacked you with our full power! How!?" He furiously asked him and still figuring out how and why their attack didn't work.

Even Chloe and Arvin couldn't believe it either. They saw the whole fight but it ended quickly than it seems the attackers looks formidable too but he's out of their league.

He prepared to attack now it's time for him to counter attack while his two teammates watching unfazed.

Hahh..."It's time for me to attack, aren't I? Barbary Lion's Hunting Mechanism: Slaughtering Claw! "

He moves really quick and his attack did a lot of damage to them. They couldn't see his movements each one of his teammates falling down one by one and they could do nothing but to defend themselves but it's useless.

The attackers' leader fell down on his knee. "H... How?! We couldn't see... any of your–"

He fell down before even finishing the words he about to say. After a fierce battle that Chloe and Arvin thought that it'll be favored on the attackers' side but they're wrong the attackers couldn't do a thing and that's not all he's all alone.

After they confirmed that the battle has ended they're quickly got themselves out of their reach to ensure that they won't cross path again and rushed towards where their camp placed.

The defenders' team sensed Chloe and Arvin but they didn't do anything. One of they noticed Arvin's scent is kinda familiar.

"Hoho! He's the one who's hiding behind the tree yesterday. "

Their leader came back and they started to move while pulling the hybrid animal with ease.

"Roawwwr... " The hybrid animal groan having no strength to move nor to run.

Pant~ Pant~

Huuuh... Huuuh...

Chloe and Arvin saw Peter on their way while running and he's wondering what's their up to.

He waved his hand to them. "Oh! there you are guys!" He greeted them.

"Hahhh... haahhh... We're glad we saw you." Arvin said and stopped running to catch his breath.

Chloe sat down and took a quick rest because her legs couldn't move an inch anymore. While Arvin holding on Peter's shoulder and starts telling him about what they saw. About what the attackers hybrid animal and the defenders act like they're weak and how their leader singlehandedly defeated the attacking students. Arvin also realized that the person he saw yesterday is one of the member of his team.

Peter calmed them down while processing the details he helped Chloe to stand up and lead them to their camp give them water.

Sighh... "So that's what happened when I'm sleeping." He sighed and worried about Chloe and Arvin that they might be saw by them.

Chloe put down the cup. "They're fighting styles are all strong but when we saw the hybrid animal of the team we thought would lose it's a one man slaughter. She said in a worried tone.

After they finished resting they starts to move and now joined the hybrid animal hunting. They already have 100 points because of Peter's last night effort. They move and went to the west side of the forest which where Peter and his companions teleported when they entered the Sanctuary and he's familiar with the environment because they stayed there for a while and encountered numerous strong hybrid animal.

"We need to capture a hybrid animal worth 100 points or above. " Arvin said while they're heading to the location that Peter told them.

It's the second day of the practical exam. They need to capture nine more animal hybrid with a hundred worth of points they can't afford to waste any more time.

They're close to the their destination when they saw a hybrid animal on the swamp worth 140 points. It's a hybrid of a large snake and a crocodile.

Its structure is bizarre it has the snake tail, the body of a crocodile, the fang of the snake and its scale but the harness and durability are the traits of the crocodile. It's a poisonous crocodile the "Crocoscale".
