Crown Prince's POV

After i landed,i received a report from one of my subordinate nearby that he also saw a light coming here and seeing the vulnerable situation Ling Xi is in. I now suspected that this Prince use a talisman or a spell to the poor kid.

"What did you do to the her?" i narrowed my eyes but i slightly calmed down since i know he can not run away again. Thats because he is being surrounded already by my subordinates.

But that doesn't mean i'll lower my guard.

He is still holding Ling Xi at this moment after all.

I saw him smirk as if flaunting the he is holding her.

He even lean forward claiming Ling Xi's lips before he vanishing out of thin air.

Emperor's POV

After the Imperial Guards reported that the issue is temporarily stabilized,i decided to end the banquet few hours early that what the others expected. Such a major problem will only danger more the Kingdom. If only that brat hide his killing intent,this will be solve more silently. But im slightly impressed by his momentum.

No one in my son can produce such aura but is this a good thing?

I planned to develop a prosperous but tranquil kingdom. I don't want another blood thirsty tyrant ruling my lands like the past. I hardly stabilized everything for it not to be trampled again. Just who is this kid that can break my oldest walls easily.

Ling Xi POV

Here i am again.

Why do i always end up waking up here?

After everything i can now confirm that i am not just dreaming. I can now fully see where im at. This is the supposedly empty void space that i once saw when i first reincarnated and where infos are thrown in my way when i fell in coma for like 2 weeks.

It really is not a dream. I face this space with a renewed feeling,when i set foot here last time my body absorbed 3 lights or something which makes me feel hot and suffocated. Now however,the three orbs of light from my body flew away from me and now are shining above. It slowly engulfed and illuminates the area like the sun. The black void that once sat here is actually platform where spells,prayers, or maybe sacrifices are made in some movies. It is full of ancient runes/text encircling us around and the ground. I am surprise that i understand the runes like i've been thought since birth. I don't remember even seeing this in my past and this life.

The letters and words we use in this era is much understandable than the one written here.

Also,It looks like a place that can only be seen in a Fallen Cities. Much ancient that where i am. It looks like the place is where powerful beings or maybe even Gods initiate a war for how everything is left destroyed. Only this platform remained standing even if it has minor damages. Just how strong it is to withstand those power that left this city unhabitable? And just how old it is?

After observing the place i vaguely remember something. My last dream.

It force infos in my head but some doesn't directly penetrate my head instead it became compiled book that is floating in the middle. I never bothered pondering about it but from what i learned,the boom title also looks like an ancient text when i look through it in my mind now. It never leave my head even if i don't bother looking through it. Im just too afraid to browse it and i knew that curiosity kills the cat. I learned this hard lesson when i first leave our manor. Even if i know that it is especially given to me,it will never change the fact that im too scared to even look at it.

I don't think deeply about it but i am scared senseless by the Crown Prince when i first met him. I even thought that, that will be the death of me.

Yes,im childish but even children know trouble when they encounter one. Even if i don't want to admit it and play dumb to go with the flow,it will not change the fact that i am once a rich second generation in my previous life and often face troubles when i do something stupid. Well,everybody does especially me eventhough I never really face that much danger since my family is capable. But now in this new world,death will surely not that rare occurrence. Power rules everything here. There are hardly any rules like in my past life at all here that when im residing here for months.

I saw servants being punished when they do things not efficiently. Even if its not severe since i know mother is kind but what if i transmigrated as a servant instead? Won't i die early since i don't know how to adapt and how everything works here? Or maybe because i am without power?

I then looked around more closely at my surrounding and especially the runes in the platform, the tablets and pillars. The ancient runes talks about a something that is too deep. I don't even understand a thing even if i know how to read it. I can only think that thousand years' time,Wei,death,demons,destruction,and terrifying power are the most eye-catching ones. These are the text that caught my attention since it is repeated multiple times in the not-so-damaged-parts of the platform and others.

That should be the most important things about this. Is it about the destruction of this world? Or maybe demon's extinction? A monster summoned? There are many things that can have a terrifying power in this world. Not to mention death and destruction. As for demons..... they can also be the cause since they can't be the saviors,right?

Thats what i always read in novels after all.

What does these thing have to do with me? Ancient runes definitely wants to lead me to something. I reread it again for a couple of hours and then it hits me.

This is a runes also talks about the Wei ancestry.

But isn't my mother's surname is Wei?

Is this just another coincidence?
