Whispers of the Lunar Curse

The detective, Li Wei, arrives at the village on the evening of the lunar eclipse. The village, hidden amidst thick fog and dense forests, feels isolated from the rest of the world. Li Wei can sense the eeriness of the place from the moment they step off the bus, the air heavy with a strange tension. The villagers are all suspiciously quiet, and their eyes follow the detective with a mix of fear and distrust.

Li Wei visits the local inn, where the owner, an elderly man named Old Han, offers them a cold reception. It's clear that the villagers want nothing to do with strangers, and Li Wei soon learns that every year, visitors who come to investigate the disappearances never return. Despite the warnings, Li Wei is determined to uncover the truth.

As night falls, Li Wei ventures out to the village's old temple, the site where many of the disappearances are rumored to have occurred. The temple is surrounded by thick vines, and its eerie silence is only broken by the occasional creaking of the ancient wooden door. Inside, there are strange symbols etched into the stone walls, ones that Li Wei recognizes as part of an ancient ritual.

Suddenly, a cold gust of wind rushes through the temple, and the ground beneath their feet trembles. A whisper, barely audible, fills the air. "Leave… now… before it's too late…"

Li Wei is shaken but pushes forward, determined to uncover the truth behind the curse. As the night of the lunar eclipse approaches, they begin to feel the weight of the village's dark past pressing down on them.
