2 What...Did You Call Me?

I ready myself for the new school since today is my first day of school. I look at my reflection, wearing jeans with a simple shirt and sneakers. My fingers rush through my hair and a sigh coming out of my mouth, thinking of the circumstances. New life and an unfamiliar culture. What concerns me is making friends. I'm not a superb person like my brother, but I need to adjust.

"You can do this, Minsoo," I say to myself, boosting my confidence.

I go downstairs to look for my brother but I see him peeking at the window. My head cock to the side, confused. I tap his shoulder to get his attention and when he notices me, his eyes wide and his cheeks blushes. I look outside and a frown forming to my brows. There, I see Jinwoo and his friends staring at us.

"Jinwoo and the boy from yesterday," I whisper.

"Who?" 

"The guy from yesterday. When I walked outside to have fresh air, I saw him staring at me and grinned. Like... He knows me." I whisper while leaning to his left ear.

"Really?" I respond with a nod. 

"Let's just go. Mom and dad can't take us to school." I nod.

And when we step out of the house, Jinwoo along with his friends walks closer to us with a smile forming to Jinwoo's lips as he greets us.

"Long time no see Minsoo and... my sweet Minnie." My brows furrow when seeing Jungmin blushes while looking at Jinwoo. 

I pull him closer to me. 

"Long time no see Jinwoo, but we should get going since it's our first day of school. We can't be late so bye!" I pull Jungmin closer to me and walk away but a grip coming from Jinwoo that makes us stop.

"Oh, what school?" Jinwoo asks. 

"It's Moon University," I reply.

My eyebrows raise when he clutches his hand to Jungmin's arm and pulls him closer to him. I sigh in defeat and follow them behind.

"Let's go. We are also students there. We'll show you around. Oh, and I forgot to introduce my friends." I keep my gaze to them, observing one of them. 

"The gray hair is Daewool Min, the tall one is Mingyu Kim and the blonde hair is Taehyung Kim. My other friends are at school now. I'll introduce it to you once we arrive there." They give a smile and waving fondly. 

"Nice to meet you. I'm Minsoo Jeon and my twin brother Jungmin Jeon. We moved here yesterday. I hope you all treat me and my brother well." 

"We all know you Min— OUCH! Why did you do that Taehyung?!" Mingyu whines when Taehyung smacks the back of his head.

"You are being too loud. Let's go." He says before steps inside the car. 

We go inside the car. Jinwoo sits in the driver's seat while Jungmin sits beside him. At the back, there's me, Taehyung, Daewool, and Mingyu. I look at him as he glances back at me. That fluttering blonde hair and ocean blue eyes... Where did I see it before? It felt like I've seen him somewhere... I thought to myself as I pondered deeply.

"It's nice to see you again Minsoo." Taehyung whispers. 

"Huh? Have we met before?" I give him a suspicious look when he just shrugs and looks away but at the same time, I don't give much attention to it knowing that he wouldn't tell anything. 

I sigh when everything is familiar to me, the scenery of the small and quiet town. Even the man beside me. My brother says that we went here for a vacation, the past 10 years ago but I don't recall about this place. I only remember that I have a twin brother and family. It's like someone erases my memories. 

"Are you okay Minsoo? You are spaced out." Daewool asks me.

"Yes, I'm great. Just thinking about something but I'm cool." I say, giving him an assuring smile.

"Okay but if you want to talk to someone. I'm here for you okay?" I nod and accept his offer.

We arrived at the university.

'Strange', the first word that comes into my mind. Most of the students are staring at us, more like mumbling. I presume that Jinwoo and his friends are popular at the campus which is not surprising. 

"Look at that young woman. Is she the one?" I hear them murmuring while looking at me. I glance at them and they suddenly look away. Do they know me? I thought to myself. I just shrug it off and walk inside the principal's office. 

My eyes wander around the office and it has many figurines, not just ordinary figurines, Its antique figurines. Jungmin curls his lips and stomps his feet excitedly. I greet the principal when I see him smiling at us. 

"Minsoo Jeon, and Jungmin Jungmin. Welcome to Moon University and congratulate you two passing the online entrance exam. Now, Jungmin Jeon since you're now in your senior stage of college so this will be your schedule for the whole semester and Minsoo Jeon you're now in 2nd year of college so this will be your schedule for this semester. Good luck both of you and have fun with the whole semester." We give him a smile before walking out of his office.

Back in Korea, the school granted Jungmin to accelerate his grade in two years because he's an intelligent man and very talented. 

"When will your class end?" He asks, his eyes wander to search for his room.

"Let's see," I mumble while looking at my schedule.

"My class ends at 2 in the afternoon."

"Great, I'll see you in the afternoon." I nod. And when he founds his room, he smiles and says, 

"This is now my room. See you later MinMin." I respond with a nod before walking out of the hallway. 

My heart pounds nervously when stepping inside the gymnasium, looking at my classmates. I search for a seat and sigh in relief when seeing Taehyung, resting on the ground while using his phone. He flinches when I nudge his shoulder. "Hi, umm. Can I sit with you?" He nods and taps the floor to sit beside him. I give him a smile and thank him.

It's very awkward when there's a huge silence between us. My gaze goes to him and his appearance is like an angel, resembling a man's figure in my dreams.

'Everything is familiar to me. I wonder why.' I thought to myself. He notices that my eyes focus on him.

"Is everything okay?" 

"Y...yeah, everything is okay," I say.

Our professor greets us a smile while strolling inside the gymnasium. He discusses the rules and regulations and the expectation for the class before introducing me to the class, "Also we have a fresh student here. Ms. Jeon come in front and introduce yourself to us." My feet touch the floor as I stand up before walking in front.

"Hello everybody, I'm Minsoo Jeon, 20 years old. I'm from Korea, but we just moved here to accompany my grandmother. So, I hope you treat me well." I murmur softly. 

Some students are smiling at me but most of them, whispering.

'Why is it like they know me? Or am I just overthinking?' I mumble to myself. Without looking at them, I walk and sit beside Taehyung.

 "Don't mind them, Minsoo. You are new here so get used to it." Taehyung says.

"I think I'm just assuming. Thank you."  He just nods without looking at me.

"After PE, what is your next class?" I ask.

"Clinical Microscopy at 2:30 pm." He replies.

"Really? Do we have the same course?" A sigh coming out from his lips as he forcibly nods.

"I suppose, we have the same schedule. Is it okay if we can go together? I don't know anyone here but you, so I think I can stick with you?" I carefully suggest it. He looks at me in a second before looking away.

"Whatever, " He replies while his eyes stuck on our professor, who continues explaining the protocols.  

He says something but I couldn't infer his words when he mumbles with an indistinct voice.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing. Let's go, it's class dismissed." I nod as I follow him. 

We went to the cafeteria to meet others. Jungmin gives my meal when I sit beside him. I thank him.

"Since Minsoo is here. I will present to you, my other friends." Jinwoo announces. 

"Seojun Kim and Minseok Jung." I smile at them.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Minsoo Jeon," 

"We know you Minsoo so no need to introduce yourself right Seojun?" Minseok asks as he nods. 

I feel shivers down my spine when there's an intensity in his eyes when he gazes at me. In his eyes, keep telling me that I'm in danger. 'What is wrong with him?' I ask myself. I choose to ignore his gaze and continue eating my meal. 

After eating, a grasp around my wrist to stop me from walking out. I look at it and it's coming from Taehyung. I cock my head on the side, curious about what's going on. 

"Yes?" I ask. He doesn't give me a reply. Suddenly, he pulls me out of the cafeteria. I try to loosen the grip but my wrist feels weak under his touch, thus letting him drags me wherever he'll go. 

"Where are we going?" I ask but remains silent. I stroke my wrist when he finally loosens his grip. He walks towards the bourn. My eyes glisten, my lips forming a smile when seeing the scenery. We sit down on the grass. 

"Tae?" I call him to get his attention. He glances at me with a mix of emotion inside his ocean blue eyes. What could it be?

Confuse, sorrow, disappointment? 

"W-what did you just call me?" He stutters as he walks closer to me. 

"T-tae."

"My Tae." I can't think why it suddenly comes out into my mouth. My heart tells otherwise, something is missing. Someone that could fill up the emptiness inside my heart. 

"Minsoo. I-I can't. I'm sorry. I need to stay away from you but I can't."

"You don't need to stay away from me. If something happened in the past, please let that aside. It's our moment." I mumble as my thumbs caress his cheeks and lean forward. 

I sigh in relief when his lips finally touch mine. Everything comes back together like before even if I don't recall the past. The important is I finally feel complete under his touch. The most beautiful moment of my life.
