She entered the room and it was empty, she suddenly heard his voice and it sounded like he was talking to someone, she approached his study and sure enough he was on the phone, soon it got disconnected.

She opened the door slightly so as not to disturb him but sure enough he sensed her presence and looked at her gently.

In front of him were documents and he looked like he was busy, but she just had to disturb him,he suddenly stood up and walked closer to her as she was now inside the room.

I missed you,he said and she stiffened as this was the second time today he was hugging her.

she didn't reply as he hugged her, when he pulled away she was quiet.

You didn't tell me you would be out for such a long time, she said and he felt his back running cold.

I thought something had happened to you,she added as he looked down at her and suddenly smiled.

So you were worried about me,he said knowingly and he eyes widened before she denied it.

I never said I was worried,at least you could've said something, she said and averted her eyes.

So you mean you didn't care that I was away for long,he said and moved closer towards her making her unconsciously move backwards,he didn't stop and continued to move towards her.

I mean..I was..I thought something happened, she said and suddenly her back came in contact with the cold wall making her shiver.

He placed his hands on the wall making it hard for her to escape,"so did you miss you",he asked.

She looked up at him only to see a wide smirk on his face.

Of course i didn't,she said and he scoffed saying "wrong answer".

And with that he lifted her chin up and kissed her,it was a soft kiss concealed with lots of suppressed emotions and Kiara could almost feel herself giving in to the kiss but she tried pushing him and he pinned her hands on the wall and deepened the kiss, after a while a stopped to look at her face, she looked adorable with her eyes closed and her lips were red and full and slightly open, with that he bent down and deepened the kiss, with his other hand he held her waist and brought her closer to him as he kiss her.

Their tongues intertwined and their breaths mingled as he kept on kissing her,she didn't try to push him neither did she kiss him back, after a while he stopped so she could catch her breath and was about to continue when she turned her head.

As the intense kiss between Kiara and Sefra ended, a rush of emotions flooded over them both. Kiara's cheeks flushed with a deep shade of red, and she couldn't help but try to hide her face, feeling both embarrassed and overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment.

Sefra gazed at her with a mix of affection and amusement, his heart racing as he realized the effect he had on her. He gently reached out, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear, his touch soft and reassuring.

"Kiara, there's no need to hide," he said tenderly, his voice warm and gentle. "You're beautiful, and I love seeing your blushing cheeks."

And with that she blushed harder and distanced herself from him, though the distance was small she was still able to catch. her breath as she was flustered.

Whatever he said right now wasn't entering her head as she was having conflicted emotions, she immediately rushed out of the study and went into her room.

Confusion and conflicting emotions swirled inside her like a storm. She closed the door behind her, leaning against it for support, trying to make sense of what had just happened in Sefra's study.

The fierce kiss they had shared left her breathless and sent her emotions into a whirlwind. Part of her felt an overwhelming sense of joy and contentment, a connection she had never experienced before. Another part of her felt apprehensive, reminding her of the painful past and the loss of her packmates at the hands of the same vampire.

She wished she could make sense of her feelings, understand why she didn't push Sefra away when he kissed her. She was afraid of being vulnerable, of opening her heart to someone who was once an enemy.

she was conflicted and felt devastated, she didn't know what to do she couldn't let Sefra distract her from her main cause-to get avenge on her packmates, she didn't know how as she was now powerless but she could let her emotions cloud her mind and distract her,Sefra was the biggest distraction and he was messing with her mind.

The restless night had taken its toll on Kiara. As the first rays of morning sunlight streamed through her window, she found herself still wide awake, her mind swirling with thoughts of Sefra and their intense kiss in his study. She felt torn between the connection she shared with him and the fear of getting hurt again.

She got up from the bed feeling worn out, stressed, tired, she went to brush her teeth, then she took a long bubble bath, when she came out with a white towel wrapped around her body and her hair, she wore her clothed before blow drying her hair.

Just as she was beginning to drift off into a light slumber, her phone rang, jolting her awake. She reached for it, seeing David's name on the caller ID. Kiara hesitated for a moment, contemplating whether to answer or not. Then, she decided it might be a good idea to meet him, hoping that spending time with him might distract her from her feelings for Sefra.

"Hello, David," she greeted him, trying to sound cheerful despite her inner turmoil.

"Hey, Kiara," David replied, his voice warm and friendly. "I was wondering if you'd like to meet up for lunch. It's been a while since we hung out."

Kiara hesitated for a moment before agreeing. "Sure, that sounds like a good idea. Where should we meet?"

After they had agreed on a location, she wore a yellow dress making her look vibrant like the sun,she then curled her hair and left the house as Sefra wasn't even home.

They settled on a nearby cafe and arranged to meet later that day. Kiara hoped that spending time with David would help her sort out her feelings and perhaps even develop new ones. She knew David, though it had only being for a short time,he had been there for her, and he was a kind and caring person. Maybe giving him a chance could be the key to moving on from her conflicted emotions.
