Entry of the Village

Now I didn't know what to do at this current moment as I had finished training Life Return and had finally started going what I thought was the correct direction towards the location of Cocoyashi village. Now the reason for this was that Arlong had only gotten out of Impel Down around the time I am currently sailing towards the village and using this chance I could kill him and net myself a nice bounty and start to get bounty hunters and marines to hunt me down, aka getting me lots of food. Using Life Return I could use the various nutrients I get from their corpses to boost my own growth and to also get my body capable of using different types of haki, the ultimate weapon against devil fruit users.

Nami was naught of my concern as she was heading towards Luffy's crew. I couldn't take her away from the crew she belongs to. If Luffy was going to be the freest man in the seas, he needed others to support his journey to the last island. I however did not wish to reach the last island. I wished to become a cornerstone of this world. Like Dragon, I wanted to become powerful to take down the government. But while he wished freedom from corruption, I wished freedom from rules. I wanted to become strong in the sense that with a snap of my fingers even Kaido would enjoy a fight with me.

So I entered the village and started my journey. My own life of wandering...

So anyways besides my little villain speech there I entered the village and it was... empty? I mean I didn't expect the village to be empty so I went around wondering what was going on. Until I found a small hut with tangerine groves surrounded by a small crowd. There, covered by the crowd was the body of a beautiful woman with a bullet wound on her chest instead of her head. I rushed in, though I had killed many either out of pity or out of desperation, I was not about to let someone who could help me a lot in the future die right in front of me.

So to speak I ran towards the ship and back, using Life Return to boost my speed, and fetched medical supplies from the ship that was made for the celestial fucks...Damn, I couldn't even think straight...

I spent my time running and running in an attempt to save her life. Leaving cracks in my footprints I flashed from road to road hoping I was not too late. Thankfully I was not, as I took out the rubbing alcohol and put pressure on her wound. "What are you doing! somebody get me a doctor!" I yelled out as an old man with wrinkles and a slight frown came towards me, "Kid you should stop... Arlong is still here-" "Does it look like I care about Arlong?!" the old man, shocked by my determination got to work immediately, using a scalpel I had he made an incision he pulled out a bullet from her corpse as I, suddenly as if on instinct managed to sharpen my tentacles and sew her skin back in place and started performing CPR, thankfully the bullet only barely passed one of her major blood vessels.

Soon the crowd around us gasped as the woman also known as Bell-mere breathed in for air as I ultimately decided one thing. Who cares about help or profit, I had gotten greedy... and that nearly cost me freedom. escaping from the celestial dragons was risky. Traveling to cocoyashi village was risky. But all those times I got lucky. Maybe now I could not afford another risk like this... I had to Lay low
