"I need rest, join me, Ryenne." Nicholas commanded as he stretched his hand for her to take.

"I shall take my leave now too, brother." Brie said as she bowed.

"I'll have someone call you when the next round of tortures are about to begin." Nicholas told his sister as he allowed her to leave.

"Come on Regina, I still want to discuss some details about Marcus' predicament with you." Brie told Nicholas, picking up on the fact that there was something wrong with Reyenne.

When the two women finally left, Ryenne stayed stubbornly seated in her place as she picked on her food.

"Ryenne, what's wrong?" Nicholas asked in a much kinder and soothing voice.

"It's nothing." Ryenne said as she stood up and walked over to Nicholas. "You said you needed to rest?"

"I do." Nicholas said with a nod as he pulled her closer to him. "But if you would rather do other things, I won't object." He whispered seductively into her ear.

Ryenne swatted him away, annoyed with what Nicholas had just said.
