Chapter 124

"Nicholas!" Brie said in shock as she had her hand raised, ready to knock at his door.

"Sister, what are you doing here?" Nicholas asked her as they walked down the hall together.

"I was just coming over to inform you that Kara, Matthew, Philip, and Regan are downstairs waiting to continue Marcus' punishment." Brie told Nicholas as they slowly walked through the halls.

"All three of my cousins are there?" Nicholas was surprised that all of them were willing to help.

Brie nodded.

"Aren't you still tired?" Nicholas was concerned about his sister's wellbeing. She was one of the few people he truly cared about.

"I'm fine, brother." Brie told him, shaking her head as she walked ahead of him.

Nicholas smiled, no one was allowed to walk in front of the king or a prince. Everyone had to stay two steps behind him, except Brie.

"Brie." Nicholas groaned as he pulled his sister back. "Don't push yourself too hard."
