As Kahlan said those words, it was as if time stopped. She could hear her heart pounding. She was scared of what lord Torren's reaction would be. Torren looked so angry.

"That was the condition king Luther gave her in other to help us. She desperately wanted to save you" Kahlan still had much to say but before she could say it, Torren left the Castle. He didn't listen to anyone. He took one of the palace horses and sped off. He rode to Draven without stopping, slaying every obstacle on the road. In less than 36 hours, he was in Draven. He walked into King Luther's throne room without batting an eye.

"Luther" he echoed as he entered the throne room.
