The Talk in the Office

"So what do you want to talk about?" Kushina asked with a calm tone.

"About Touma's origins, I know Uzumakis have insane chakra reserves but I'm sure you can see that his reserves are beyond your clan's norm for a child his age." Jiraiya said while smiling wryly.

"Yes, Minato and I did notice that. That's why were looking forward to his future growth." Kushina said with a gentle smile.

"This boy is a monster, his agility, reflexes, chakra control, and learning capability is exceptional. He also has that weird regeneration ability. Where does it come from anyway? Does he have some form of a kekkei genkai?" Jiraiya asked with a confused tone.

"Well it's kind of a long stor-" before she can finish Touma wakes up.

"Ahhgh wha- what happened?" Touma says weakly.

Jiraiya proceeds to tell him what happened and how Kushina was able to see him.

"Oh right the technique doesn't hide my chakra signatures. But why did you have to hit me so hard Neesan??!!" Touma complained to Kushina loudly.

"You deserve it you punk! You were being really annoying." Kushina scoffs at the boy.

"Alright alright I'm sorry Neesan. I won't mess with you again." Touma said with a sad smile.

"Okay you should go rest now, you have school tomorrow." Kushina said with a gentle smile.

Touma nods and starts to walk back to the room but he suddenly stopped and turned around.

"Hey Old man." Touma looks to Jiraiya to tell him something.

"What is it kid?" Jiraiya asked with a grin.

"I'll be late for training tomorrow." Touma said with a smile.

"Oh, why is that?" Jiraiya asks with a confused tone.

"I don't know what exactly, but my friend said she needs my help with something." Touma said thoughtfully.

"She? Ohhhh I see you found yourself a girlfriend huh?! You really are a genius eyy?!" Jiraiya teased with a perverted grin.

"Wha- w- what?! She's not my girlfriend! Sh- she's just a friend!" Touma said with a blush.

"Oh why are you blushing then?" Kushina said with a teasing grin.

"It's because it's hot! It's really hot okay?! I'm going to sleep now! Good night!" Touma yelled while body flickering inside the room.

"Wow he became faster. I couldn't even see him leave." Kushina said rather shocked.

"Yeah, if that kid was stronger or if he excelled in kunais he would've greatly injured me." Jiraiya said with a serious tone.

"That's because Minato was so insistent on making Touma surpass him, he believes that he will become a great hokage someday." Kushina grins widely.

"I look forward to seeing that as well." Jiraiya grins at her.

"Now back to what we were talking about earlier.." Jiraiya says while smiling wryly.

"Minato and I decided not to share it to anyone, but you can be considered as family, let's go to Hokage-sama I'll share it to him as well." Kushina says while beckoning Jiraiya to the door.

They went outside and began to walk towards the Hokage's office.

When they arrived Jiraiya went towards the door and knocked.

The Anbu around the office began to raise up their guards, but the hokage dismissed them.

"Come in." Hiruzen remarked calmly.

Jiraiya and Kushina went in together and stood in front of the Hokage.

"Greetings Hokage-sama" Kushina greets with a smile.

"It's nice to see you again Kushina." Hiruzen answered with a smile.

"Jiraiya, we just finished talking this morning. It's rare for you two to come here together, much less at this hour. Did you come here to talk about something?" Hiruzen inquired to the both of them.

"We came here to talk about Touma and hi-" before Jiraiya could finish Kushina butts in.

"Hokage-sama what I'm about to share is confidential so please keep it a secret" Kushina asks the Hokage with a serious tone.

Hiruzen waves his hands to signal the remaining Anbu to leave the premises. Kushina even began to set-up a seal to soundproof the room.

"Alright no one will be able to hear us now. You said we're going to talk about Touma?" Hiruzen asks in a confused but calm manner.

"Yes teacher, Touma has been growing exceptional by the day. I tested his prowess earlier today, his speed was amazing and is nearing Minato's level and if his punches were stronger or if he integrates kunai skills to his arsenal he will be a monster in the battlefield." Jiraiya said with a small grin.

"Touma is only 6, but has an enormous chakra reserve with perfect chakra control. A regenerative ability on par or may even surpass Lord First's. You told me he has a kekkei genkai but I had the blood samples from the hospital checked but they didn't find a trace of any either from Touma or his father's blood. Are you finally ready to tell us the truth Kushina?" Hiruzen puffs smoke and looks at Kushina in a thoughtful manner.

Kushina nods and begins to tell them the whole story while also showing the Hokage the notebooks Fuji left to him. Sarutobi and Jiraiya were shocked by it's implications and were silent for a while then when he regained his senses Hiruzen looks at Kushina.

"Kushina has Touma finished reading all of these notebooks?" The Hokage asked calmly.

"Yes, me and Minato has already taught him the mechanics about all of them." Kushina says rather nervous.

"Good, burn them then." Hiruzen said after puffing more smoke.

"What?!" Kushina and Jiraiya asked at the same time.

"It contains Fuji's life work and he specifically said for you to hide them, you already betrayed that when you showed them to me. It would be unwise if others also see them so burn them." Hiruzen said with a serious tone.

"But Teacher the knowledge these notebooks contain can advance the knowledge of various shinobi around the village." Jiraiya said with an urgent tone.

"No, you know the people inside the village can't be trusted. At the current time, with Danzo and the root active, it would bring harm to Touma. Besides I had many run-ins with the kid and he has a good heart someday he'll make great contributions to this village and he will revolutionize our era himself. Let's wait for that moment, I'm sure it wouldn't be too late until then." Hiruzen smiles at him.

"Thank you for your trust Hokage-sama" Kushina says overjoyed at what the hokage said about his cousin.

"You and Minato are part of the core of the village, and you are risking many things to keep it safe. As long as you continue to protect our home, it will protect you as well, as family." Hiruzen smiles at her.

They talked more about miscellaneous things regarding Touma and Kushina left. Jiraiya stayed to talk to his teacher about other things.

"The things will get chaotic at the war at the next few years, we don't know when this war will end. Are we going to let the kid join in too? With his current capabilities he'll be able to fight multiple jounins" Jiraiya said with a serious tone.

"No, he is still young and he is not ready yet let him stay at the village for a while. He is a seed we can't risk at the current time. Besides the situation in the front isn't that dire yet, with Minato and Orochimaru guarding it. It's shame about Tsunade though, has she been able to get through that trauma of hers? Hiruzen asks with a sad smile.

"She still refuses to move and continues to wallow in sadness, I even heard her saying that she's quitting the shinobi life. She only continues to teach Dan's niece in order for her to take care of the medical duties left by Tsunade." Jiraiya replies sadly.

Hiruzen sighs and puffs more smoke.

"Nothing to do about it now, we can't get to her no matter how many times we try. Just leave her be." Hiruzen says in a rather sad voice.

"Alright, I'll be leaving now. I'll see you later teacher." Jiraiya says before slowly walking out the office.

"Take care of the boy. Teach him wisely, he'll be a great asset to the village one day." Hiruzen said with a carefree tone.

"Yeah yeah! Goodbye." Jiraiya waves with his back facing the hokage.

The door closes and silences descends in the office once again.
