To the Hyuga Compound

The following morning Touma woke up early to get ready for school and also to enact his plan.

"Good morning Neesan!" Touma excitedly greets Kushina.

"Good mor- Touma why are you using that technique again?!" Kushina yelled in annoyance while projecting chakra to her eyes to try and find where Touma was.

Touma appears beside her with an apologetic face. Kushina was shocked and dropped the spoon she was using.

"I'm sorry Neesan. I was practicing something new with the technique Jiraiya taught me." Touma says with a small grin.

"Yo- You? Why can't I sense you? You hid your chakra signature?" Kushina asked with a shocked face.

"Yeah! I slept late last night. I practiced combining dad's chakra hiding technique and the transparent escape technique, and I succeeded! Hahaha! Now I'm fast and I can turn Invisible! I can't wait to show this to Minato-Nii! He's gonna be so shocked at what I can do! Maybe I can even beat him now!" Touma posed while having a cheeky grin.

"Alright alright, it's weird for you to wake up early today. Do you have something planned?" Kushina asked rather curious.

"Oh I'm going to school early Neesan, I'm gonna prank Mitsune! I can't wait to see the look on her face!" Touma proceeds to grin cheekily.

"I don't know what to do with you. Make sure not to go overboard. Go eat breakfast before you leave." Kushina said while shaking her head.

Touma finished his breakfast and made his way to school while using his new technique.

He arrived in the classroom and opened the door. His teacher was shocked that the door opened and saw that no one was there so he just quickly dismisses it.

Touma just sat on his chair waiting for Mitsune to arrive. After half an hour of sitting quietly, when he was about to get impatient, Mitsune arrived and sat on her chair.

She looked at Touma's chair and Impatiently looked around hoping to see a sign of him. Until it was almost time for the start of class, and Touma still wasn't there. Their teacher started calling for their names and when Touma was called.

"He's not he-" Mitsune was going to say Touma was absent but she was cut off.

"Here!" Touma suddenly appeared on his seat which shocked everyone in the room.

"Touma?! Wha- what?! How?!" Mitsune was flabbergasted that Touma was there all along, she has been waiting for him and has kept checking the seat beside her but never saw him come in.

"Touma! When did you come in? I didn't see you pass by earlier." The teacher asked with a confused face.

"Oh I came in using this!" Touma proceeded to turn invisible again.

His classmates were shocked that he disappeared and they can see no sign of him. Touma appeared again and grinned cheekily.

"It's a new technique I learned! Pretty cool eyy?!" Touma looked at Mitsune while grinning proudly.

Mitsune just looked at him with a confused face and turned her head to the side. Touma was nervous that he may have angered his friend, he tried calling out again but she ignored him. He decided to just talk to her after class.

"Alright alright, great job on learning a camouflage technique this early Touma. You will be able to use it on missions later." the teacher praised Touma with a smile.

"Thanks teacher!" Touma replied with a happy grin.

"Now everyone stop messing around let's start class." The teacher reprimanded them.

After class and the Medical training while Touma and Mitsune were walking from the Hospital,Mitsune was still silent while occasionally glaring at hin. Touma couldn't take it anymore, and decided to ask her.

"Hey are you angry?" Touma asked with a shy tone.

"Hmpf" Mitsune scoffs and looks the other way.

"I'm sorry.. I just wanted to show off my new technique. I didn't mean to mess with you" Touma said with a sad tone.

"Hmmpff Baka! I'm not mad because of that!" Mitsune said while puffing her cheeks.

"Why are you mad then?" Touma asked with a confused face.

"You promised you'd go with me today, I thought you didn't come to school. I thought you were going to break your promise." Mitsune said shyly.

"What?! I already promised I'd go with you today, and I don't break my promises!" Touma said while puffing his chest.

"Thank you." Mitsune said with a gentle smile.

Before he knew it Touma was lost at her smile once again. Mitsune started blushing when he saw that Touma was staring at her again. She smacked him in the head to jolt him awake.

"Baka! Baka! You're doing it again Touma!" Mitsune said while puffing her cheeks.

"Doing what again?" Touma was jolted awake and asked Mitsune with a confused tone.

"Sta- star- staring at me! You were having that weird look again!" Mitsune said with an annoyed tone.

"But I can't help you were just too bea-"Touma was sayong in a helpless tone but was cut off by another smack from Mitsune.

"Don't say it again Baka! It's so emabrassing! Let's go and hurry up!" Mitsune said while speeding up.

"Hey wait for me! Where are we going anyway?" Touma asked with a smile.

Mitsune stopped and fiddles with her fingers.

"I told my mom I made a new friend, and she was so happy because I didn't like talking with other people much so I didn't make any friends. You're my first friend, so she and dad wanted to meet you." Mitsune said shyly.

"Oh so we're going to your clan then? The Hyuga compound?" Touma asked full of expectations.

"Yup! I'm taking you there but you have to promise you'll behave okay? Even though the clan head is my uncle, we still can't cause him any trouble." Mitsune said with a proud tone.

"Okay okay! I'll behave don't worry! I always wanted to visit the Hyuga compound! I have lots of questions to ask the people there!" Touma said excitedly.

"Let's go and hurry then! Mom and Dad are waiting!" Mitsune held Touma's hand and they continued running towards the Hyuga Compound.
