25 Ch.25 It's our Birthday.

The army is increasing in size but it is getting incredibly hard to control the newborn. They have no control over their thirst for blood and it is more evident in the young ones that they can't stop themselves and they drink every last drop of blood left.

Whenever we would go out hunting or looking for new recruits. The newborns would just kill them and it was making my life difficult.

But throughout this Victoria has been by my side guiding me and helping me train them.

We were in the old mill and the newborns were training in a mock battle with each other.

Two were fighting one was a girl in her 20's another was a boy who was 16. He has been losing quite consistently and I just wished that for once that he would win.

Cause if he didn't I would have to kill him. It was my job as the general to train them and execute them when they didn't perform.

We weren't cruel enough to kill them if they failed once. They had chances to improve themselves but if they didn't. We had to get rid of them.

I didn't like doing it and it showed on my face. I didn't like that I had to go out again to find more to replace one guy's place. It was wasteful and annoying. Victoria looked at me and she said "I know that it pains you to do what you do Riley but it is necessary."

I nodded and said "What if there was some other way?"

She touched my face and said "I wish that there was."

I had an idea then "I looked at her and I said "What if we just left them at Forks?"

She looked at me and she said "They will be killed easily and if by chance they are caught they can reveal our base and not to mention several other problems that they can cause."

I sighed and nodded and she came closer to me and kissed me and said "I know you have a good heart Riley and it pains me as well but there is no other way."

She whispered "It's the only way."

We heard a cracking noise and we looked down and the boy lost and Victoria whispered "You know what to do."

I nodded. The mock battles ended and most went with Victoria to hunt but the kid wasn't allowed to go.

He sat on the roof of the mill and was looking at the moon. I came and sat next to him.

He was startled by me but I chuckled and said "It's me don't worry."

He nodded and I sat next to him and he looked down and I said "Cheer up kid. All this will be over soon."

He looked at me and said "You are here to kill me aren't you?"

I looked at him and said "Looks like you caught on quick… sorry kid."

He then said "Before you kill me can I ask why are you doing all this?"

I said "So that we all can have a future and to ensure such a future we need to get rid of the Cullen Clan."

The kid then looked at me and said "If that was the case Victoria would have ran far away but she is still lingering around. She doesn't want peace, she wants revenge. She is playing..."

I grabbed his neck and I yanked it and it cafe off and he said "You too will die."

Today is 13th September. Today is my and Bella's birthday. While she has been dreading this day. I know it is hard for her to turn 18 while her ancient boyfriend is 17.

While I had no problem, even though I am also ageing. My body will stop ageing when it peaks and according to my assumptions it may be at 18 or 19 who knows. But I didn't care. I am fine with ageing a little.

I was laying on my bed and Cat was laying next to and she was playing with my hair. She whispered "Happy Birthday baby." She chuckled.

I got up and I said "Good morning." She then kissed me and she said "Happy Birthday."

I smiled and said "So what will I get from you."

She snuggled in closer to me and bit my ear and whispered "Oh, you'll see but you will have to wait for it."

I got on top and I said "I don't think I want to wait that long." I kissed her neck.

But then we both heard footsteps coming upstairs she chuckled and said "Looks like you will have to wait after all." She then kissed me and went out the window.

Charlie then opened the door and he looked at me and he asked "What are you doing?"

I was thinking and I said "Ah… This is an exercise for the abs. It's called planking. It is good for your abs, but is very difficult to maintain this position." I then sat down on the bed.

He shook his head and he said "okay…" he then tossed me a bag.

I caught it and I asked "What's this for?"

He said "Well, you did say that you wanted to travel so we got you these. Open it up."

I opened it and inside was a universal translator and I looked at it and said "Thanks."

He said "You're welcome."

He then said "Want to go and annoy your sister?"

I got up and said "Bet." I grabbed the gift from my desk. We went to her room and she was up and she looked at us and he gave her the gift and she said "I thought I said no gifts."

He then put a camera on top of the flat box and said "Technical mine doesn't count so."

He looked at me and asked "Didn't you get her something?"

I tossed her the small box and I said "Happy birthday sweet sister."

She opened it and it was a pair of pearl earrings and a small pearl pendant. I smiled and said "It's from me and Cat."

Charlie then tried to pick something from Bella's hair and said "Is that a white hair?"

She was scared and looked in the mirror. She sighed in relief when there was nothing of such. She said "Not funny guys."

Charlie said "Beg to differ. Now come on, let's get some breakfast or you guys will be late for school."

He left and I turned around and said "Another bad dream I am assuming."

She nodded and sat down and said "I am 18 now… and I am… old."

I sat next to her and I said "Come on Bella you are just 18."

She said "Yeah, but I am older than Edward now."

I said "Remember what I said to you?"

She sighed and said "Learn to be patient."

I nodded and said "Try to relax, it may be your last time turning 18. Try to enjoy it because after you turn life's many pleasures will be lost to you."

She nodded and said "You are right." I then hugged her.

We then heard "Come on kids, I am making pancakes."

I got up and said "Come on, it's our birthday."

Hey guys I have a little news. I won't be able to upload consistently for a while because I will be busy with some work. To be honest the whole March month can be like this. So I will try to upload whenever I can I promise.
