Ch.16 Yeet

Running through the dead forest and the dark and ominous clouds hanging over the head and the sounds of the raging thunder was piercing the heart.

Today was supposed to be a normal day, but I didn't expect myself to hunt vampires today. I would not have done it if they behaved, but it's too late for that right now.

I was running after them and Cat was beside me. We both were quite fast but they weren't slow as well.

As we were chasing them they decided to split up. Laurent went left and Victoria went right.

Cat looked at me and I pointed my hand towards Victoria and looked at her but she shook her head so I just snorted and we both went left.

We were chasing him and Laurent was running with his all and we were so close so he chose to jump over the trees. We saw that and we also ran. He was prancing and jumping to trees.

Cat looked at me and said "Chris." I looked at her and she mouthed "Throw me." and I nodded and I picked her up by the waist. I then aimed Cat at Laurent and I threw her with both of my hands.

Cat was shot like a damn missile. Laurent heard something was behind him and as he turned around. He saw Cat and cat speared him to the ground and a large crater was formed.

I was over there and Cat had her feet on top of his neck and he was trying to say something. He said "Please let me go… I promise I will never come back… I promise."

Cat smiled and said, "Too late for that." She then stomped at the neck and the neck was severed and then she crouched and she pulled his arms and then his legs.

I walked to him and he said "Please." I then stomped on his face and it was decimated. I then looked at Cat and she smiled.

I then took a whiff and we started to run towards Victoria. She was quite fast. She had already traveled a long distance by the time we saw her. We were running through the hill and We were near the river and I could hear the river.

She jumped into the river and we both jumped into the river and then I realized something. I don't know how to swim.

As the water hit me I started to panic and I immediately started to drown, my wolf form also came undone. Cat was swimming towards the shore. She got out of the water and she looked to her left but I wasn't there she looked back and I was drowning. Cat saw this and she came to save me.

I was just falling into the depths of the water and Cat got a hold of me and she pulled me out of the water. And I saw Cat and I got up and she hugged me. She said "oh, thank god you are okay." She then kissed me and hugged me again.

I was cold so I generated some heat and steam was coming off of me and I comforted her. I wanted to follow her but by this time she must have gotten away.

We then went back and on the way back we saw the burnt corpse of Laurent and then we first went to get my pants and shirt. I can't keep losing them.

We walked back to the others and all of them were there except for Edward and Bella.

Emmet said "That was some wicked display chrisy boy… I am glad you are on our side."

Rosalie asked "Did you get Victoria as well? Please tell me you did."

I shook my head and Rosalie was upset and then Carlisle asked "Why you both should be fast enough to catch her. What happened?"

I sighed and said "I can't swim."

They were confused and Cat explained "Victoria crossed the river and Chris doesn't know how to swim."

Rosalie asked "What are we going to do now? What if she…" Carlisle said "Rosalie we will face whatever it is as one as a family… for now we rest."

He then looked at me and said "Get some rest Chris. You did good today."

I dropped Cat home. She then said "I am sorry… I just wanted today to be normal."

I chuckled and she looked at me and she said "Well, some degree of normal."

I then looked at her and I said "Now why would I want to have it normal when I have you." I then looked at her and I said "We will have our normal Cat. Soon, very soon." I then kissed her.

She smiled and said "I will wait for that normal." She then went home

I reached home and Charlie was still not home yet. I then went upstairs. I then knocked on Bella's door and she opened it and she hugged me.

She then asked "You are okay right?"

I smiled and said "I am okay…" She then again hugged me and I looked at Edward and said "Thank you for protecting her."

He smiled and said "It's nothing, no need to thank me." He then got up and said "Now, Bella I am going." He then looked at me and said "Take care of this clutz."

She glared at him and I laughed and Bella looked at me.

That day Bella went all out and made steaks, mashed potatoes and puddings. It was a good day. I got some practice done.

I was laying on my bed and I was again pulled into the black space and I was floating infront of Lucien.

He had a happy look on his face and he said "Congratulations on your first kills."

I didn't really know how to respond to something like that so I said "Ah… thank you."

He said "It was bound to happen, rejoice that you took someone out that you didn't like."

Now that I look at it "Yeah."

He then said "So, now that the wolves know of you and that one red harlot knows what are you going to do?"

I said "I know for sure she won't attack right away. And secondly she looks like the type that likes grand things. So I am assuming she will not be going anywhere else to ask for help. And as far as the wolves are concerned they will accept the proposition."

He then leaned forward and asked "And what if they don't?"

I then said "Then I will have to kill any vampires who threaten me and those vampires will most definitely harm humans so they will have to kill those vampires so one way or another I will have their support."

He then leaned back and laughed and said "It's good… finally a werewolf who thinks… Ah… you don't know how good it feels to talk to someone who thinks with his brain instead of his dick."

I then looked at him and asked "So others of our species aren't smart?"

He shook his head and spoke "I wouldn't say that, it's more like they are battle smart. They don't understand politics and stuff like that." He then smiled and said "But with this new generation I don't know."

I asked "Wait what?"

He said "You do remember that there could be others. You are the only one who has a strong connection to me but who knows there can be others who have stronger connections to the other wolves."

I then asked "Should I be concerned?"

He sighed and said "Don't be concerned kid, you are forming your own pack… just be strong and prepared and who knows you might even lead them." He then smiled and laughed softly.

I was then pulled back from there and I got up from my bed. I then said "This doesn't feel that good now."

The next day I woke up and did my morning work out and got on my bike and went to pick up Cat. I reached her house and I waited for her to come out. Carlisle came out of the house and I was a bit surprised to see him because he usually is at the hospital by this time.

He smiled and walked up to me and said "Esme made breakfast for you."

I siad "She is an angel."

He chuckled and said "She is always happy to make you food. You are important to her."

He then sighed and asked "How are you Chris? How is Charlie?"

I said "He is fine, why do you ask?"

He sighed and said "Chris I don't think you know how most vampires are. I am worried because she may attack your dad or your mom." I looked at him and he nodded and continued "So that is why we are going to the reservation tomorrow so that we can work out a deal with them so that your dad and your sister have some protection."

I sighed and said "That is good. But I don't really think she will transfer her hate towards my dad though."

Carlisle was confused and he looked at me and I said "Thinking about it Bella was the main reason why James got killed so I think she will most likely go for Bella, Edward or Me and Cat. But since I am with Cat she will be more careful."

Carlisle then sighed and said "That is good and all but we will still need help because I think she will not act alone."

I nodded and then Cat came with a big bag. She showed me the Bag and Carlisle said to me "Take care of her Chris."

I smiled and said "I will." He then walked away and then Cat came and she kissed me and she said "Special 12 foot long for you. Eat it before lunch."

I chuckled and said "Alright mam."

She then asked "What were you guys talking about?"

I smiled and "Your dad was asking me to take care of you."

She then smiled and said "Oh really?"

I said in a hushed voice "Yeah, you know me being a very sensible and calm guy."

She and I laughed and I said "I love you."

She looked at me and she looked relieved and I think I shouldn't have said that I was going to say something but she just kissed me and she said "I love you too." I was relived. I then kissed her.

I hope you guys liked the chapter. I am not even going to lie the legacies chapter is almost done you guys will get it by 3 I promise. The main issue is I just can't write that for some reason. But well and yeah tomorrow will be no chapters. And on the 7th & 8th I will not upload because of prior commitments.
