After checking the internet and making an online booking at one of the hotel's spas on the west side of the city, Gu Xin Ye walked over to the bus station and hopped on the transit bus that will make its stop at the west part of the town.

The moment Gu Xin Ye stepped out of the bus, she immediately understood the reason Mrs. Li had advised her not to step her feet around this part of the city. Everywhere she goes, there were luxurious hotels, resorts, and clubs.

Through her conversation with a few locals, Gu Xin Ye then found out that there was an area with private villas.

At this time, Gu Xin Ye suddenly wished that she was not so reckless and had made her research about this town before she decided to come over. Then perhaps, she would be staying in a luxury hotel instead of Mrs. Li's B&B. Every day, she would have the chance to hang around the beach and enjoyed the pretty view.

Gu Xin Ye glanced at the time and noted that the sky will turn dark soon. After considering her plan for a moment, Gu Xin Ye decided to have her dinner at one of the expensive-looking restaurants she saw earlier before she heads back to the B&B.

Fortunately, the hotel and resort area was very close to the F&B establishments. This part of the town was planned for tourism and almost everything was within walking distance.

Gu Xin Ye was walking past a luxurious hotel when she saw a familiar figure.

Her body stiffened and Gu Xin Ye quickly hid behind the ornamental plant at the hotel's entrance. As soon as she realized what she was doing, Gu Xin Ye scolded herself.

Taking a few deep breaths to calm down, Gu Xin Ye stretched her head to peek at the hotel's entrance again. A breath of relief escaped her once she noticed that both Qin Zhan and his cousin were no longer around.

Someone was standing in front of her and blocking her path.

Slowly, she raised her head and saw the owner of the shoes.

A gasp escaped her when Gu Xin Ye realized that the person in front of her was none other than Qin Zhan.

"Miss Gu Xin Ye," Qin Zhan called. His lips stretched up into a dangerous smile. "It is a surprise to see you here."
