Battle in Kuoh Town III

Well, even if he didn't trigger a quest he would still save Cleria. There's no other reason except for him not wanting her to die.

Quest(Rescue): Save Cleria from the hands of the people that wanted her dead. Successfully escape from the enemy.

Rewards: 2,000 points and Devil Qi Essence x5

Gin fought the devils that wanted to stop Cleria. He received several wounds on his body and his blood sprayed everywhere. He was fighting several Mid-class devils at the same time and he was enduring it all.

Kuroka and Cleria saved the remaining people. Then, the ones who were still fighting slowly retreated as they gathered around the two.

The devils were about to launch a fierce attack when Gin took a deep breath.

Roar of the Void Dragon!!

A powerful black beam burst out of Gin's mouth. The streams of black energy spread in front of him like a net, covering a wide space.

The devils looked at this scene as they tried to block the powerful attack. But they underestimated this attack. The black energy directly blown the Low-class devils while the Mid-class were enduring the attack quite well.

Boom!!

"Damn!" The leader cursed as he destroyed Kuroka's copy one by one. He stepped forward and saved some of his subordinates.

Bang!!

A huge explosion occurred that shook the entire area. Dust shot up in the air and cracks spread out on the ground like a spider web.

Gin looked at this scene with a slight shock. The firepower of his roar attack exceeded what was in his imagination. Although it was powerful, it still consumed a lot of his magic power. Right now, he didn't even know if his magic power could last for two minutes. So he had to rely on his Devil Qi.

He smiled as he looked at Kuroka and said, "You can go now. I'll follow you later. I'll hold these guys for a while."

Suddenly, a figure dashed out of the smoke. It was the leader of the devils. He rushed ahead trying to prevent Kuroka and others from leaving. He couldn't fail this mission no matter what.

But Gin appeared in front of him and threw a powerful punch filled with his remaining magic power.

Void Dragon's Iron Fist!!

The leader roared angrily before he threw his fist. This guy was unknown yet he possessed strange power that could somehow burst with overwhelming strength.

Both of their fists collided causing a gust of wind to sweep out in the whole area.

Bang!

"Go!!" Gin shouted as his body emitted the Devil Qi. He tightly clenched both of his fists and launched a series of punches at the leader to hold him back for a while.

Kuroka looked at Gin before she nodded her head.

"Okay, Gin. Bye bye. I'll come for you later, nya!"

With those words, a magic circle appeared below her. The magic circle took several seconds before it enveloped them. Kuroka already found the loophole in the barrier so she could leave and enter in just a short amount of time using her magic.

Swoosh!!

A powerful energy crashed into their position as soon as they disappeared.

Bang!!

"Tch! I'm too late." The leader said in annoyance. Suddenly, he felt a danger coming from his back. He quickly turned around and cast a barrier to protect him.

Boom!!

Gin wanted to follow his attack but a Mid-class devil interrupted him. The devil appeared behind him and grabbed his foot before he was sent to the ground.

Ugh!

Gin coughed a mouthful of blood. He made a blunder as he forgot that aside from the High-class devil, there were other devils in this place. He was alone and he didn't have anyone to keep them busy.

Gin laughed lightly and the leader was slightly confused.

"Why are you laughing? Do you think that you will be able to escape from us?" The leader said.

"Yeah... I'll survive this battle!" Gin grinned widely. He opened his mouth and purple smoke gushed out.

Destructive Breath!

The corrosion power of his breath attack was far stronger than before. It could even corrode Low-class devils who had less resistance and confuse Mid-class devils. It was enough for him to fight these guys.

He couldn't use it before since it would also affect Cleria's peerage members. But since they weren't here, he could use it freely.

The purple smoke spread out and filled the whole area. The Low-class devils screamed as their skins started to melt. They couldn't do anything about it. They didn't have enough resistance to withstand the corrosion effect of the smoke.

"You!!" The leader looked at Gin angrily. His aura burst out directly blowing the smoke around him.

"Come." Gin smiled as he raised his fist in front of him.
