Battle in Kuoh Town II

The two devils were blown away before they slid onto the ground leaving a trail of smoke. Gin didn't stop at all. He dashed ahead and threw punches at the two devils.

The other devils finally reacted. They charged at him but Gin retracted his fists from the two devils. He stepped back and grabbed the collar of one of Cleria's peerage members.

Gin barely avoided the punches of the devils. He then kicked the ground and his body shot in the air. He observed his surroundings before he threw the person in his hand in Cleria's direction.

"Sister Cleria!" Gin shouted so that Cleria would be aware of this.

Cleria turned her head and saw her friend flying at her. She was surprised but she forced her hands to catch her friend safely.

After that, Gin focused his attention on the three devils in front of him. They were Low-class and their combat skills were bad. Gin experienced fighting various martial arts in Super Gene World and it greatly honed his combat skills.

'I'm really glad that I trained in the past six months.' Gin said inwardly while he avoided the series of punches from the three Low-class devils.

He observed the other battles. Some of Cleria's peerage members were still resisting so they weren't his goal. His goal was to save those incapable of fighting first as they could die at any moment.

As he knew what he should do, Gin finally moved. His magic power spiked up as his hands emitted a strange black energy. He delivered a swift and devastating blow at the three devils.

Gin followed up by grabbing two of them and hurling them away using a great amount of magic power.

Then, he launched a finishing blow on the remaining devil. The devil was blown away and heavily crashed into the ground, causing a huge pit with a depth of two meters.

Gin heard a series of notifications as he dashed toward Cleria's peerage member who was on the ground. He increased his speed and threw a lightning fast kick.

The devil managed to react on time by shifting his body to the side. He then drew a sword and thrust it in Gin's direction.

Gin widened his eyes but he still moved his body. But the sword managed to graze him. It even caused a three-inch wound on his left shoulder. His body was enhanced by the combined might of the two Devil Bodies, namely Elemental Sea Devil Body, Sun Law Devil Body, and Evil Capital Devil Body. Yet this devil managed to cause a wound on his shoulder. Not even a super creature from the First God's Sanctuary could do it.

"A Mid-class devil..." Gin muttered as the frown on his face grew deeper. He tightly clenched his body and his aura fluctuated highly. "If it was before, I would not dare to fight a Mid-class but now..."

Gin raised his fist and threw a punch. The devil raised his sword and used it to block the first. Then, he swiftly moved ahead and bumped his upper body at Gin.

Huh? Gin was surprised as he was pushed back and he saw a sharp blade coming at his stomach. He coated his knees with his magic power and kneed the blade.

He then spun around and launched another kick.

At this moment, Cleria arrived at the scene and took her friend away from the battle. While Gin was attracting the attention of the devils, she was going to save her friends who collapsed earlier.

The battle continued. Another Mid-class devil joined the fray and fought Gin in a two versus one situation. Gin knew that he was outnumbered but he didn't care at all. In the next minute, the other devils also joined.

Gin tried to eliminate the Low-class devils first but every time was about to deliver a finishing blow, a Mid-class would appear and protect them.

He glanced at Kuroka and said, "Kuroka, help Cleria take the others. I will handle the enemies. Leave this place as soon as possible."

Kuroka, who heard his voice, quickly scanned the area with her eyes. She created more copies of herself and sent them to the leader to hold him back for a few seconds.

A few seconds was enough for her to take Cleria's peerage while Gin was fighting the devils.

She ran forward and asked, "What about you?"

"I can handle this. I can't use my breath skills as it will also affect them." Gin answered her questions.

"Got it." Kuroka nodded.

What's important right now was to successfully escape this place. He triggered a quest before he entered the barrier. The quest was simply about him saving Cleria.
