Battle in Kuoh Town IV

Bang! Bang!

Gin and the leader exchanged hundreds of blows. Both of them were fighting like a madman as they kept throwing their fists at each other. Their speed had slowed down by a huge margin as both of them were bleeding too much.

Both of them didn't want to back down. They were determined to defeat the person in front of them.

Argh!!

Gin gritted his teeth as he felt the intensity of his opponent's attack. This guy wasn't as strong as the people he fought in the virtual community back in the Super Gene World. But his physical strength was still higher than Gin. Even if they compared their combat techniques, the leader was still better.

Nonetheless, Gin didn't lose hope. He forced his body to keep up with a strong opponent. He was honing his skills and intuition using the man in front of him. The best way to improve was to fight someone stronger than him.

The leader was surprised that Gin could somehow keep up with him. He didn't expect that this nobody would give him a hard time and prevent him from completing his job. This was bad for him.

The only thing that could make up for this was to kill this unknown person.

Gin kicked the ground as he took a distance away from his opponent. But the leader chased after him in quick succession. He managed to land a direct blow on Gin's stomach.

Gin coughed a mouthful of blood as he tried to ignore the pain. He stabilized his footing before he shifted his body to the side. The next moment, a fist burst forth on his previous position. Sharp winds shot out and it grazed Gin's cheeks.

"That's close."

Gin narrowed his eyes. He stepped to the side and lifted his right foot. He swiftly launched a consecutive kick but the leader raised both of his hands and successfully parried all of his kicks.

Bang! Bang!

The leader crouched down and tackled Gin with all of his might. Gin groaned in pain as he felt the leader tightly wrapped around his arms around his waist. Then, he felt his vision overturned as he found himself crashing on the floor.

Cough!

Gin gathered his Devil Qi in his fist and punched the leader in the stomach. He continued to punch until the leader loosened his arms around his waist.

Gin didn't let go of this opportunity. He quickly broke free from the leader's hand and jumped in the air.

Swoosh!

Gin spun around and kicked the leader on the head. The leader raised his hand and blocked Gin's feet. He gritted his teeth as he felt the power hidden within the kick. He moved his other hand and swung it heavily on Gin's stomach.

Bang!

Gin's body bent backward before he was sent flying. His figure crashed into the nearby house causing the dust to shoot up in the air.

"Damn! That hurts..."

Gin held his stomach in pain. He looked around and found that he was in a quite dangerous position. The purple smoke was slowly thinning out and he was running out of Devil Qi. If the purple smoke disappeared, the Mid-class devils would be able to fight once again.

Right now, the Mid-class devils were using their demonic energy to protect them from the corrosion effect of the purple smoke. While the Low-class devils have perished and only a few of them survive thanks to the protection of the Mid-class devils. This was the reason why the other Mid-class devils couldn't join the battle.

"Gin!" A sweet voice echoed beside him.

He turned his head and saw that Kuroka was back.

"Let's go now," Kuroka said.

Gin nodded his head and he quickly ran toward her.

"You can't escape!" The leader said as he dashed forward with his maximum speed.

But Kuroka had already finished her preparation. She was here a while ago but she didn't show herself. She wanted to prepare the way out first so that they could escape from the leader of the devils. Luckily, the leader of the devil didn't notice her arrival since he was busy fighting Gin.

So she only called Gin after she finished preparing.

"It's done." Kuroka smiled as Gin arrived beside her. She grabbed his hand as a magic circle formed beneath their feet.

Gin forced a smile on his face as he stared at the leader.

At the same time, several energy spheres formed around her and flew toward the leader. Also, copies of Kuroka appeared and charged at him.

"No!!"

The leader shouted as he blocked the energy spheres. He couldn't only watch as white light swallowed Kuroka and Gin.
