Arrival

Gin was shocked when he found that two different energies were flowing inside his body. These two different energies flowed without interrupting each other. They were the Devil Qi and the magic power from his dragon slaying magic.

Since he had magic power right now, does it mean that he could learn other magic? Probably, but he didn't have that much time. He was training the Ten Great Devil Bodies and now he had to add the dragon slaying magic so he couldn't afford to learn other magic unless he finished training one of these two.

For now, his strength had improved and it would greatly help him in the near battle. Aside from the Destructive Breath, he finally gained other attack skills which would help him fight people above his level.

"Dragon slaying magic is pretty good... When I was reading Fairy Tail sometimes I wondered that it would be amazing if I could use magic too."

Gin familiarized himself with his magic first. He tried his best but his control wasn't as excellent as his control of Devil Qi. After all, he was using Devil Qi for an entire year and he just got his magic so the difference was still huge.

After an hour, Kuroka came back.

"How is it?" Gin asked with a hint of nervousness.

"They said that it's fine but..." Kuroka stopped.

"But what?" Gin frowned.

"They can give us a safe place but they will not help you fight the devils that are coming for Cleria. You have to save Cleria and we can go to the safe place together." Kuroka explained.

That means that the Khaos Brigade would only give them a place where devils couldn't find them. But they wouldn't send forces to rescue Cleria. Gin had to rescue them personally and bring her back to that safe place.

"Tsk!" Gin clicked his tongue as he already expected that this would happen. He knew the attitude of the other factions in the Khaos Brigade.

"Don't worry, Gin. I will help you. There are some people that are willing to help me." Kuroka said.

"Really?" Gin looked at her with expectations. He knew that she must be talking about Vali and the rest of Team Vali. But he wasn't sure about their strength right now since it was still early in the story. Even Kuroka wasn't as strong as she was when she first appeared in the story. The same could be said for Vali and the others.

But even a little bit of strength was what he needed right now. He would be grateful if they helped him save Cleria and Masaomi. At this point, Gin would be willing to sacrifice other people to save the two. He was closer to them than any other people in this world.

"Yes, so don't worry too much, nya," Kuroka said with a smile.

"Fine, if someone is going to help us then tell them that they need to protect Brother Masaomi," Gin said to Kuroka. Masaomi too was in danger since the one who was going to kill him was Touji Shidou, Irina's father.

If Vali and the rest were going to help Masaomi then he would be assured. Gin could focus himself on saving Cleria. Of course, he wasn't alone. He was going to bring Kuroka with him.

"Okay, I understand. I will inform them right away, nya." Kuroka said.

"Good. I'm glad that you're with me." Gin smiled.

In Kuoh Town.

Cleria gathered the members of her peerage in front of her. The atmosphere was gloomy and everyone knew what's going on.

Cleria opened her mouth and said, "Everyone, I apologize for bringing you this disaster."

"No, you don't need to apologize, Cleria-sama. We swore to follow you the moment we joined your peerage." The members of Cleria's peerage said.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed and it got heavier. Cleria stood up and looked at the windows.

"A barrier has been used... It seems that they aren't going to let me go this time." She said in a low voice. She turned around and looked at her peerage. "Let's go."

She would try to escape but she knew that it was close to impossible. If this was happening to her then it means... Something was going to happen to Masaomi too.

No, she couldn't let that happen no matter what.

Thud!

A sound echoed as footsteps appeared on the ground. Cleria and the others turned their heads and saw a group of devils. There were a few devils hovering in midair looking down at them with unfriendly eyes.

The leading devil was wearing a military uniform. He was a High-class devil serving under the Bael Clan.

"I'm sorry, Lady Cleria. My master has given me the task to execute all of you as your actions were deemed as betrayal."
