"Get ready." The man said strongly.

The group of devils numbering thirty to forty readied themselves. Their numbers already surpassed Cleria's group. There were more than ten Low-class devils and twenty plus Mid-class devils. The one leading them was a High-class devil with a strength that surpassed Cleria.

"Everyone stay in your position! We can do this!" Cleria said loudly. Her voice was filled with desperation. The chances of them surviving this was too low.

Gin shook his head and asked in return, "Do you have a way to enter the barrier?"

"Yes, but it will take me a few minutes," Kuroka answered.

"That's fine." Gin said and asked, "How is the situation of our helpers?"

"Oh, they are heading to Masaomi," Kuroka said.

"Then, let's begin. I'll protect you in case someone attacked us."

"Okay. I'll trust you, nya." Kuroka nodded before she closed her eyes.

At the same time, Gin paused as he heard a notification in his mind.

"Resistance is futile. You can't defeat us nor run away from us. I will not make you suffer if you just accept your fate." The leader said in a cold tone. "I will give you a painless death."

"Ah!" Cleria shouted as she raised her palm and cast an offensive magic.

The leader created a semi-transparent barrier and blocked her attack. The attack managed to shatter the barrier but it also dissipated as it lost its power. He then waved both of his hands and launched a ray of light at Cleria.

"I'm not gonna fall." Cleria gritted her teeth as she forcefully raised both of her hands. Her demonic energy spiked up and the magical attacks that were coming sat him vanished into thin air.

This was the ability of the Belial Clan. It was called Worthless. The ability to negate other attacks or abilities as long as she could understand them. It also depends on her power if she could negate the attacks.

"As expected of someone from the Belial Clan." The leader said. He then dashed forward and pulled back his hand while gathering a huge amount of demonic energy.

He instantly arrived in front of Cleria and threw a punch at her.

One of Cleria's rooks appeared in front and blocked the punch for her.

The rook's body bent awkwardly as she flew away, crashing into the nearby houses.

"No!!" Cleria shouted worriedly. The next second, she felt a pain in her stomach before her body flew away and crashed to the ground.

Cleria groaned in pain. She held her stomach and saw the leader standing in front of her. She wiped the blood on the corner of her mouth and looked at the leader in the eyes.

"Is it really about my relationship with Masaomi? I don't think that's enough reason for us to get killed..." She said with great effort.
