"The devils and church learned about their relationship ship! That's really a problem but I don't think they will be in danger. They would at least only receive harsh punishment." Kuroka said.

"No," Gin shook his head and added, "The church and devils will come for their heads. I need to find a place where they could hide them. Or someone that is willing to take them."

He couldn't say the truth to Kuroka. He wanted to lead the conversation to the Khaos Brigade. That's why he was mentioning a safe place. Kuroka was one of the most wanted criminals of the Underworld. She alone wouldn't be able to escape from the pursuit of the devils. She must have found someplace where she was protected to a certain degree. A place where other criminals reside. The Khaos Brigade.

Kuroka grew silent at his words. She stared at him for a few seconds.

"How is it? Did something come to your mind? We need a place to hide." Gin said to her.

"I have something in mind but..." Kuroka seems to hesitate. The headquarters of the Khaos Brigade were unknown to the other factions so they would be safe from the pursuit of the devils and church. But the organization wasn't united as there were other factions within. Some of them harbor great hatred and the things that they needed to be wary of in the organization were each other.

"But what? As long as we can hide from the pursuit of church and devils it's fine. The other problems. I'll deal with it later." Gin said.

"I understand, Gin." Kuroka nodded as she slightly lowered her head. "There's an organization that I recently got to know of. It's called Khaos Brigade. It's a group of people with different ideologies. They bonded together to fight the other factions and also for protection."

"I see..." Gin nodded as he rubbed his chin. He acted like he didn't know anything about Khaos Brigade.

"Are you sure about this, Gin?" Kuroka asked with a concerned look. "There are other devils in the organization but I don't think that they are fond of the new generation of devils."

"It's fine as long as we can escape the pursuit of the church and devils," Gin said to her.

"Then, I will go and inform them. I will say that you will join the organization along with Cleria and Masaomi." Kuroka said.

"Okay, be careful." Gin nodded at her.

Kuroka used teleport magic and disappeared from her position.

Gin stood up and looked at the sky. Then, he opened the interface and went directly to the Store Function. He didn't hesitate and used 10,000 points to buy the Void Dragon Slaying Magic.

10,000 points had disappeared instantly. In the next second, Gin felt a strange energy flowing through his body. He fell to his knees as intense pain assaulted his body.

"Argh!!"

Gin gritted his teeth. He felt like his organs were being drilled out and thousands of needles were piercing his body at the same time. It was horrible. This was the worst pain that he ever felt in his entire life. It was outside of his expectations. He never thought that buying one thing from the Store could bring him so much pain.

It lasted for five minutes. These five minutes were like an eternity for him.

He slumped on the ground and his body was drenched in his sweat. His breathing was heavy and he felt that he was about to lose consciousness. Gin forced himself into a seated position as he glanced at the system notification.

Gin checked the details of his void magic. This magic directly boosted his body and changed a little bit of him. If he wanted to strengthen this magic then he needed to train it and raise its proficiency. At every level, the Void Dragon Slaying Magic would grow stronger by several times.

Gin lifted his hand. After a few seconds, black energy slowly appeared on the tip of his fingers. It spread out and soon covered his entire hand.

"So this is the Void Dragon Slaying Magic..."

Gin closed his palm and the black energy disappeared. He checked his body and realized that he had grown stronger. His fitness probably had increased by fifteen. He didn't know the exact measurement but it seems to hover around fifteen.

After checking his physical body, Gin took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He wanted to see the changes in the energy within his body.
