Nurn - Arc rise of the light kingdom

Nurn, a major region of Mordor, composed of semi-arid land due to its proximity to mount doom, this land is considered important due to its fertility. It is on this land that is cultivated the food that feeds the huge masses of orcs of Mordor.

Its proximity to Mount Doom enhances its fertility, the ashes from the volcano nourish the soil et fertilize the plants.

In this region is located the sea of Nurnen, another important factor, this internal sea of Mordor allows the irrigation of the agricultural resources of the region.

This place disposes of large plains, all cultivable, this land is used by Sauron for his war effort and contribute to it's power.

This region is inhabited in part by men, enslaved during the many raids conducted by the orcs, they sometimes imprison men and send them here. These men harvest the cereals and are supervised by the orcs, who torture them constantly, they have no respite and their lives are threatened at all times.

The slaves also come from Mordor's allies, the men of the east, namely the haradrims, the khand people, the southern rhovanion and the rhun.

Being an important region for the dark lord, Talion has set his sights on this one, it is his next target. The region is large, being the largest in Mordor but also the least populated by orcs, who are concentrated in the strongholds of the Gorgoroth plateau.

In order to control this region, one must control its main stronghold named Sharkhburz.

Before coming here, Talion made a stop at his camp to get the Palantiri that he tied safely to his waist.

Once he arrived in the vicinity of the fortress, Talion noticed with horror the number of caravans of slaves, many men were enslaved and they were delivered to the orcs.

To better understand the situation, Talion dominates some orcs and questions them. Many orc captains are present in this fortress, and the orc population is about 3000, not counting those in the area who double the count.

But according to the orcs in question the slaves are much more numerous than the orcs, there are 5000 slaves in transit in this fortress and 12000 more in the region.

Moreover, some interesting information reached him, there is a group of rebels who tries to free the other slaves.

After this discovery, Talion create a plan in his mind.

But before he can execute it, he must first train troops on the spot. To this end, he will dominate a few captains and orc troops.

POV Talion:

I've been here for ten days now, I've captured some captains to form my army.

I've been hunting down many orc encampments, helping my captains get rid of some enemy captains that were causing a problem.

While I was organizing my plans in this area, I communicated with Idril several times.

The fortress of Cirith Ungol was attacked by orc troops from Minas Morgul among others, but Idril was able to defend it brilliantly and fought them off valiantly without losing too many orcs.

Moreover, she attacked many orc camps in the region of Cirith Ungol, and it is now a region that belongs entirely to us.

She is now training troops and organizing the army, to bring it to the area where I am soon, while keeping a minimum of strength in Cirith Ungol in case of an attack of the Sauron forces.

As for me, I'm heading to a hideout, this is the camp of the rebels, the slaves who have freed themselves from the orcs and are organizing operations to free the others slaves.

It took a long time before I could find their location, I had to work on many tracks but I finally found the location of this base.

As I approached it I asked myself 'I can't really approach them directly, if i was in their places, why would I trust a man like that ? I can be a spy, and i don't want them to be suspicious, I should probably sneak in and directly talk to their leader'.

Once my decision is made, I enter discreetly in their hideout, teleporting many times to avoid the guards, I can't knock them out, they would refuse any kind of negotiation seeing that I showed violence towards them.

The soft method then, after some time, I finally find what seems to be the leader's room.

I get inside and without surprise nobody is there, so I decide to stay and wait.

After some hours a man enters by the door.

What was not my surprise to see the Gondorian captain Baranor.

'I thought he had been killed in the attack on Minas Ithil'.

Seeing that he is an acquaintance I decide to show myself.

Seeing me Baranor is surprised and says

"Oh, Talion is that you? You surprised me for a second, I didn't expect a visit from you, what are you doing here?"

"Baranor, I didn't think you had survived, what happened to you?"

"After the battle of Minas Ithil I was taken prisoner by the orcs, who brought me here with other soldiers, after some time we managed to free ourselves by playing on the stupidity of the orcs, what do you need my help for?" he asks

"In fact I have a plan to take over the Nurn region, but I need your help, I heard that this is the hiding place of the rebels, and that you are planning to free the slaves".

"Yes it's true Talion, me and the others created this hideout, we are now fighting the orcs, but you know how it is *sigh* we are outnumbered, we can't do much for now, maybe you can help us?"

"As I told you, I have a plan to storm the fortress in Nurn, then take the region, I offer you help in freeing a group of slaves, in exchange you take the weapons with me and we attack the fortress, moreover I already have orc troops under my command, it will be easy to free many slaves "

After I say this, Baranor takes some time to think, then he warns me that he must ask the other members of his organization for their opinions. After deliberating with them, he sends me back a positive answer and agrees.

It is then that I contact Idril, I would need her to set up this plan:

"Hello Idril, I would need you here in Nurn, could you let an orc take the defense of the city? I also need you to bring some orc troops".

"You finally need my help? Fine, I'll arrange to come as soon as possible, but if you don't mind, what should I do?" asks Idril through the ring link.

"I met Baranor who survived, with him we are planning to free the slaves in the area, once freed they will be a great asset in the conquest of Mordor, I will need you to help Baranor free them, but also to raid the orc weapons stockpiles, we will have to arm the slaves so they can fight " I answer Idril

"Talion, what about you?" Idril asks me.

"Me? I'm going to hunt some nazgûls" I answer her smiling, then I cut short the conversation and go to a quiet area where I could use the Palantiri.
