GENERAL POV

After coming to terms with his new name, Eclipse shifted in his newfound seat, pondering what his next course of action should be. He partly wanted to hurry up and get directly to his little power plowing, but the other half of him was much more logical…

'Figuring out my new traits and learning how to utilize my new body should be the first thing I do, realistically. Even if I gain a huge power boost from the Suneater, I doubt I'd be able to utilize it well if I can't even call out my weapons- hell, even control them.'

Unconsciously raising a metal hand to his chin, he slowly rubbed it as he thought up ways for him to successfully do that. 'It didn't seem like something the Transformers had to consciously think about… Then again, they're all old as hell and have millennia' of war experience, something I don't have in common.'

His conclusion was that their control over their body as well as their masterful uses of their weapons all came from a sort of "muscle memory" or something akin to that. Another idea was that it was already programmed into them the moment they were created, making it much easier for him in the end if that was the case.

All he'd have to do is essentially unlock his Transformer half of his subconscious mind… Something he had absolutely no clue how to do.

'Eh, while I'm in a safe haven I might as well do some experimenting.' As he finished that thought, another instantly shot into his mind. 'Maybe this ship has something to aid with my problem…? The little Gandalf guy might've secretly helped me out a bit more than he led on.'

Letting his robotic eyes wander ceaselessly over the control panels, Eclipse hastily read the description and uses of each button and shift. His memory perfected as he could easily recall the things he read within an instant.

Eventually his eyes wandered to his arms- more so the tubes connected to his shoulders and traps.

[Connection Network: Used to make the shift act on mental commands.] 'Bingo.' Eclipse let his face contort slightly into a smile. 'A.I. Ship A.I.'

'…' Eclipse was left in silence as his thoughts in fact did not transfer to his ship. There was no way he was going to believe that a race as technologically advanced as Cybertronians were, didn't have A.I holograms or anything of that sort.

So, for the next hour Eclipse spent his time ceaselessly thinking of new commands, trying his luck with every single possible reactant… It wasn't until his final few attempts; he got what he was looking for.

'Cybertronic Basic Training Protocol.' With a bored, irritated expression marring his metallic features, Eclipse' eyes widened in surprise and overflowing content as his ship hummed to life, the white highlights of his ship brightening ever so slightly as the lights in the room brightened.

[Cybertron Combat Training Protocol; Initiated. Teacher, Kang.]

The tubes connecting to the giant Transformers back released with a hiss; Eclipse shot to his feet as he spun on his heels, the unexplored parts of his ship being brightened by lights above.

In the center of the cockpit, was a realistic hologram, one so realistic Eclipse thought an intruder infiltrated his ship somehow- Or maybe there was someone else with him, like a squad of some sorts.

Those thoughts were quelled and forgotten quite quickly after seeing it flicker in and out of existence a few times.

The ships hum died down as the transformer in front of Eclipse know as, Kang, announced his presence once again.

"Hello, Eclipse. This is a pre-recorded message designed especially for you- For your kind. I haven't been around long, I don't know much about your circumstances, however, I do know that you are incredibly talented in combat, and you have an excess of powerful tools to aid you in your future battles."

The transmigrated robot simply stared at the silver, black robot. Its bulky frame and height of over 10 meters gave Kang quite the intimidation factor. Eclipse had a slight frown on his face as he digested everything he had just heard.

Kang must've instinctively known something like that would be needed as he had stopped talking for a moment or two as his hologram paced back and forth, a frown denting his mechanical features too as his demeanor shifted into one of absolute seriousness.

Not a single ounce of playful nonchalance left, a striking contrast to his previous impression just a moment ago.

Stopping in place, Kang continued.

"You, as you call us, are a Transformer. You're a walking weapon of destruction capable of outdoing many alien races and even conquering worlds if you're capable enough. This universe you're in has some strong foes, and I need you ready." Eclipse nodded, leaning his behind on the back of his chair as he continued to watch.

'This is just perfect… That Gandalf guy really outdid himself… I almost feel like im favorited.' Scoffing to himself, he immediately focused back on his instructor. 'Though, I might actually be… This "Kang" guy seems created just for me. If his previous statement earlier was honest.'

Meanwhile, Kang had reached the core of his only living objective.

"I will now begin familiarizing you with your trait, "Absolute Combat." Everything that will happen, and your reaction will be completely instinctual for now. But by the end of this training period, you will be able to familiarize yourself with the different attack patterns and combat expertise you hold and do it both instinctually, and purposefully." Kang stopped, crossing his arms as he made direct eye contact with Eclipse.

Startled, the young transformer felt awkward as the seconds trickled by.

"We will spend approximately one month on each category, three at most. If you still show no signs of improvement… Well, all I can really say is good luck going forward." With a firm nod, Kang pointed at Eclipse, or more so, the seat behind him.

Eclipse hopped out the way but not after confusingly pointing at himself before moving out of the way as his once stationary seat began to spin around with a dramatic hiss. Slight steam expanding from the bottom as it did so.

It locked in place and Eclipse plopped on it, he let the tubes once again reattach themselves to his frame as his eyes focused back on Kang.

"That chair will act as your catalyst into my, "Training Room" if you will…" A slight pause ensued as Eclipse felt his consciousness fade in and out. 'W-What the hell… I hate this feeling!' As the light in his eyes darkened, Kang finished his statement.

"See you soon, Eclipse."

POV ECLIPSE.

Déjà vu flooded me with a sense of nostalgia as I came to. The similar darkness and woozy feeling of coming to my senses washed over me my ears picked up on the sound of heavy, metallic, and powerful footsteps getting closer and closer to me.

My head swiveled, my gaze instinctually leveled as I dropped to a rather unfamiliar stance. One leg forward, the other back with the foot turned horizontally to the right. My left arm was brought out as my right was raised by my head, my hands mimicking claws.

'What the fuck…'

BANG!

I wasn't even able to process what had just happened to me, a hard, terribly fast object had slammed into my head, throwing everything that I had instinctually accomplished out the window as I fell on my ass.

Aching and throbbing, my head rung as the footsteps made themselves known again… This time, a voice followed along.

"Get up."
