Training Pokemon

For a while I have read over all the cut and paste concepts on the Pokemon world trying to make the host strong as well as his Pokemon using the gamer system. I understand it's a dangerous world and you want to give the MC extra plot Armour. I thought about this and realized that the host would rarely fight in matters that needed strength except in situations that dealt with Legendaries. If that becomes par for course though in the story. What's the point of making this a long term novel that deals with the growth of a character. I would've set this as a short novel that deals with an overpowered MC that one shots all situations that need it. Also I wish to point out that Pokémon have sentience. The world also has abundant food with berries being around and the things that happen in Pokedex's in the games, I'm gonna try to stay partially away from as this is rated at a rating lower than 18+. (That's mostly because I find cursing unnecessarily to be just plain bad etiquette. I can understand if it happens when something bad occurs and you can't control your mouth. But flippant use of them just to annoy people is just that. Annoying...) The original story is also about friendship, journeying, and finding a purpose in the world they're in with their friends. Sabrina, Dawn, and May deal with contests. While Ash, and Iris love battling. Brock even finds a purpose on his journey as a breeder fully going into the field instead of just pursuing it as a side hobby like before when he had to take care of his brothers. As such I find it, while not useless for writing. A complete disappointment and withdrawal from the nature of what this world represents. What with hope and friendship being these main parts, and if you're fighting every creature you meet into submission. How is it possible for you to truly bond beyond servant and subject. Another thing is inside this story I will not limit the host to having 6 Pokemon on his being. No this would only apply to gyms or competitions as these kinds of things would require a more formal structure. I have decided on a new idea for this system that instead focuses on the Pokemon themselves. This includes knowledge, buffs, items and so on. The system will be less of a RPG stat layout directly as this still exists. But the stats come from training with the other stuff like others would train in a real world. The exception being Buffs. He can also use the system to build a utopia for his Pokemon. He can even slow down the time inside to gain larger training time later on for specific species which grow slower like Ninetails or various Ghost Pokemon. Enough of this Synopsis and rant though and on to the story. Ps. It's obvious, but I don't own this image. So I take no credit for it. And if someone eventually would like to make an image for this story I will thank you. Sincerely. PPS: Comments help me keep my want to write. When I notice there's not a lot of comments. I second guess my writing, like a lot. Probably for a good reason as I know I like to over analyze things, and I KNOW that's gonna influence my writing. I can see it deeply ingrained. So if you guys like my style please comment.

Chapter 30-Taking On Brock? Pt.2

Before I knew it Budew had lost. It hadn't stood a chance, after all one was a Pokemon that weighed a little more than 2.5 pounds, and the other one was a Pokemon that weighed literately 463 pounds. That had been the end of it's battle. Still even if it couldn't win, it had weakened Onix by constantly Using Absorb, which then it figured out how to use leach seed while in battle. The lucky break would continue to help Emblaze when we started trying to tackle our hardest foe.

"Go Emblaze," I screamed out in Pride. The Charmander that appeared looked up at the Onix before it than looked back at me with a look that just screamed are you kidding me. Looking dignified as I could Emblaze didn't buy it and decided to voice it's complaint. "Are you kidding me? Are you trying to kill me off?" Taking a couple second more he continued "I mean just look at this creature....(Ignoring a shout in the background, and above that meant hey!) first off it's literally over a hundred times my size and weight. Then it's literally a rock. Something my regular flames can't affect. Frankly I would have made you forfeit if you hadn't trained me to make my flames a ghost type attack."

Scratching my head in sheepishness I pointed out my amazing defense. "Well he's a Gym leader, so unless he wants to lose everything he had, he can't purposefully kill you." Face palming the lizard decided to just give in, besides he was also looking forwards to this battle. It was the one time he felt truly at one with his trainer after all.

Looking over our conversation the Gym leader grew completely stunned as he watched a trainer talk in a full on conversation with his Pokemon. Rubbing his eyes a few times he realized that, yes it was real, and that this was going to most likely be a hard battle since that was the case. Deciding to get on with the battle he straitened himself up "Are you ready to get on with the battle yet?" Pausing in embarrassment both the trainer and his Pokemon readied themselves and nodded with an affirmative yes.

Pulling my head back into the game I readied my thoughts and felt mine and Emblaze's thoughts connect. Smiling we watched as the Judge yelled "Start." Running with all our might we made it as quickly as possible in front of the Onix. Casting our overpowered Leer, Mean look and etc. We stopped a certain distance away from Onix and started preparing 4 shot of Ember of the compressed category. Firing we watched as a strange look of terror flashed across Flints face as he seemed to recognize the attack from somewhere.

Putting the thought to the back of my mind I focused back on our attack with full focus. Blasting off the black and blue flames that had gathered in the air from ember we watched as it hit Onix and seemed to fade from existence. Flint seemingly confused looked at his Pokemon wondering if it felt bad. Onix looking back at his trainer was prepared to nod it's head no, before it felt a heat rise from it's soul. Immediately it started writhing in pain on the ground, but the earth didn't put it out. Getting back up the Onix loosing it's patience prepared to strike at the lizard that had caused it such pain. A pain that seemed to strike at it's very being.

Without Flints permission the Snake dived at us. Well, Emblaze technically was the only one being dived at, but we were a team so it counted. Thinking the same thing (He's/I'm Gonna Die) we took off running at our greatest speed. Noticing something we felt a new power flow into our veins as fire surrounded us. I knew the move as one of my favorites from the series. "Flame Charge Emblaze!" With that we sped up faster and faster, but I knew we needed to keep a limit on the speed, so I didn't let Emblaze keep using it. Slowing slightly down we were now at a speed slightly faster than the snake. Considering the size of the creature I considered it an impressive achievement.

Onix who followed along had a noticeable bad habit of breaking all the rocks and obstacles along the way. Deciding to take advantage of that and wear him out we lead him to the center of the room, and then we watched as Onix dug a hole through the boulder. That action had flicked a switched in the man who was watching from a distance. "Onix return Now!"

And so with the wild chase over we had won the first battle of our Pokemon League career. I just wish it had been a bit more of a professional fight.

Sorry if I'm not good at writing fight scenes.
