Meeting up

"Had fun playing the hero?"

Ban chuckled, as he jumped down from the wall, landing on the pavement without any injury. The soldiers began to mutter amongst themselves in shock, but Ban didn't care at all.

"Find another bone to chew on will you. The kids might be useful, that's all."

Lafitte coldly replied, not the least bit bothered by Ban's teasing.

"We should find the captain. She might need some help, considering Shinobu's lack in strength."

"I believe we should. Let's check up on these guys later. I'm sure they can think up some entertaining plan to deal with this mess."

The two soon left, leaving the soldiers to talk amongst themselves.

"They aren't possibly human!"

"Did you see how that tall guys was fine, even when falling from that height? I would surely have more than a few broken bones after that."

"Oh shut up, you wouldn't even be alive if you fell from that height."

"That pale guy was scary as hell."

"When did he even arrive here? I didn't see him at all."

"Me neither, he was like a ghost, appearing wherever he goes."

"Hush, you make have the shivers."

The soldiers continued their conversation, as the bald man, Commander Pixis left to speak with Eren Jeager and his companions, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert.

"So, how did you end up with these guys?"

Ban sighed, as he looked at Akane and Shinobu, who were near the wall alongside two to three army soldiers.

"Well, things just happened. We battled, we killed and we met these guys. They say they are a few of the remaining soldiers. They were supposed to report back that this part of the district had fallen as well."

"IWe have lost so many of our brothers and sisters. The least we can do is to meet up with Commander Pixis to aid him in battle. We need to avenge our friends, even if we are killed in doing so."

A young man said, His fist clenched in furyas he saluted towards Ban and Lafitte, no doubt thinking they were allies.

"Then carry on with that. I need to speak with MY captain as well to see what our plans are."

Ban shooed the soldiers away, pointing them in the direction he had just slaughtered his way through.

"Everything here fine as well?"

"I suppose. Shinobu has injected some surviving humans with some sort of temporary energy boost. They are about as fast as the fishmen. I doubt they will perish that easily before they arrive near the safe zones. We've also cut down a lot of titans, but their numbers are still about the same. We need to plug up that hole."

Akane summarized, glancing at Ban to see if he had something on his mind.

"We came up with something, but it seems like the humans of this place have something in mind as well. We should see what they have in mind to avoid messing up the others plans."

"Agreed."

Akane replied, making sure they returned to where that Commander Pixis was currently at.

When they got back, commander Pixis had just finished a pep talk about them protecting their families and make their deaths meaningful, etc.

Arriving on top of the wall, they stopped in front of Pixus, a man who seemed easy going, but was all but that. From his eyes, a spark of brilliance was shining brightly.

"It seems you have gathered your people."

Pixus replied, looking over the catastrophe happening in front of him.

"Indeed. We are still short on one, but he will be arriving any time now. Let me introduce ourselves. Member of the Demonfox pirate crew, the Undead Ban. The one who held a sword to you compatriots neck is our navigator, Demon Sheriff Lafitte, the pretty lady over there with the butterfly decorations is our crew doctor, Shinobu Kocho. And last but not least, our captain, Demon fox Akane D. Eldertale."

Having introduced them, Ban looked at the people in front of them, especially Pixis, who was deep in thought after the introduction.

"I have some questions, but it will have to wait. I am the commander of this region. You may call me Pixis. We are now in a dire situation and accept all the help we can."

"Then help we shall."

Akane replied, looking at Pixis to continue on whatever course they had decided and what they were about to do.

"Then let me explain. This young man behind me is Eren Jeager. He can transform in a titan. We plan for him to carry a boulder into the opening, as such sealing the hole. He will act with a small team to avoid attracting as many titans as possible. We will lure the rest to us by increasing the number of humans here on the wall. In that time, Eren with transform and carry the boulder. The few people around him will protect him."

Having done his explanation, he asked if there were any questions. There were none.

"Then it seems we will need to clean up a bit more in that vicinity."

Akane nodded.

She left, alongside her crew without hearing the reply of Pixis. If she did it like this, she would surely make the whole thing a bit easier. It would be even better if they could lure the titans away from that area before Eren and his escorts arrived there.

Pixis didn't comment either, seeing the soundness of the idea.

Like so, they soon parted way again, both resuming with their own task.
