Path of Evolution (Part 1)

When Alvin once again opened his eyes, he was standing in a vast and magnificent space. An array of stars flickered and fluttered atop of the sky above him like a group of fireflies that fluttered about in the air. A chilly, silver light that was flowing like waterfall shone gracefully, giving off an unreal feeling.

But what shocked him the most was the man standing in front of him. This man stood at about two meters in height and like Alvin, had deep black shoulder length hair as well as piercing deep blue eyes. He looked like a splitting image of Alvin.

When Alvin saw this man, his heart shook greatly. A feeling that was both unfamiliar and familiar abruptly arose within Alvin's heart when he saw him, and he felt a trace of long lost intimacy. The instinct of this body led him to shed tears the moment he laid eyes on him. This man was Alvin's father, Aldrich Taylor!

"Hello, my Son!" with a bright smile on his face, Aldrich looked at Alvin and said.

"Father!" still weeping, Alvin instinctively lounged at his father. He just couldn't control himself. At this time, Aldrich's silhouette became dimmer and more blurred. "Don't worry about our safety and try to comprehend the strengthening skill in the crystal that I gave you. It will be the key to your survival in this world!"

"Don't worry father, I won't disappoint you!" when he heard Alvin's reply, his silhouette completely shattered and vanished without a trace. The space where Alvin stood also began to shake violently. He clenched it tightly and stood up only to see the sheathed katana still lying on the table. He put the crystal orb way and tried to pick up the katana.

But surprisingly, he realised that he couldn't lifting. No matter how much force he exerted, he couldn't even make it budge. After countless tries and failures, he gave up.

Unfortunately, because of lack of time, he didn't get any information about his sword.

"It seems when I get stronger in the future, I will have to come and try again." With this thought in mind, Alvin sat down on the table and followed his father's instruction on using the inheritance crystal by placing it against his forehead.

The moment he placed it against his forehead, the crystal melted into his forehead and a large amount of information began to flow into his mind. Despite his large soul force which was almost three times the normal adult, he felt as if his mind was about to explode.

He clenched his teeth and held on for about six minutes before the influx of data stopped. The information in his mind was arranged accordingly like files stored on a hard drive.
