Giselle's POV

_______

For the rest of breakfast people were talking about the disappearance of a student. The principal wanted to keep it under wraps but Giselle had the itching feeling she knew for sure it was cicilla. The problem? Giselle saw her really recently, in a sketchy ass situation.

"Who do you think it is?" Sedrick asks, still smacking down.

"Have you ever met a girl named Cicilla?" Giselle says lowly.

"Ummm, no. Well actually, isn't she friends with Darian?" Sedrick's left brow lifts up.

"Yeah, last time I saw her, she was walking in the neighborhood, she asked me to walk home with her because there was a stalker. You don't think..." Giselle stared at Sedrick with concern.

Sedrick put his food down, "No way! That's way too suspicious and way too convenient, well, you could be right." He shrugged.

Giselle tilted her head and poked her spoon into the cereal, "Aren't you alittle more concerned here? A girl goes missing, possibly kidnapped or murdered and you shrug it off?"

Sedrick inhales through his teeth as if the feeling of sorry-but-not-sorry just entered his soul, "There's not a whole lot we can do. The police will handle it anyway. Don't stress about it Giselle, if you're that worried about a stranger's existence report it."

Giselle just rolled her eyes with an almost disgusted look, "Yeah, you're not wrong."

Just as Giselle finishes this sentence as if on que Darian sits next to her at the lunch table.

"Well good morning punching duo. Did you hear about the news?" Darian says.

Sedrick rolls his eyes, leaves the table to put his breakfast in the trash, and then heads out to class.

Giselle knots her brows in confusion, "Dunno what he did that for, but yeah, a student went missing. I'm pretty sure I know who too."

Darian's golden eyes dart into Giselle's soul like arrows. She notices how beautiful his eyelashes are against his eyelids and almost forgets she's in the cafeteria of school. "Who do you think it might be?" He curiously looks at Giselle, coming in close as if excited to see what her answer might be.

"Uh-uhm. Ahem. I think it may have been that girl I took home the other day, she actually said she knew you, I think she said her name was Cicilla." Giselle tried her hardest to stay serious.

Darian sat back in his bubble, "Well that's not very good, then again she could've run away." He shrugged his shoulders.

"I hope she's okay." Darian took a bite of his breakfast.

Giselle responded, "Me too."

The two sat quietly until it was time to head to class.

Darians POV

______

As Darian walked the hall with Giselle side by side he wondered what she would've thought if she knew. Then again, no one will ever know. He couldn't place it though, the feeling, it was like he didn't want to lie to Giselle.

In the distance there was a girl with long forest green hair in a braid and brown eyes handing out posters. It had Cicilla's annoying face on it. A girl who is friends with Cicilla, Her name is-

"Hello my name is Emerald! You must be the infamous Giselle. And Darian! Where have you been? Me and Toby have been looking for you everywhere!" She said.

Emerald was a fast talker, a jumpy and excited girl for sure. Gisele was seemingly caught off guard by the energy Emerald had. Giselle looked over at Darian as if her expression said, 'You know this chick???'

"I've been hanging out with Giselle, I consider her more of a friend than Toby," Darian said flatly.

"So I see. Toby is kind of a dickhead after all. Well take some of these posters, the police and the school may not think she's missing just yet but I do!" Emerald huffed.

He looked over to Giselle almost ignoring Emerald and her high energy. In fact he was almost disgusted with it knowing where the energy came from, but it wasn't his business, yet. "Anyway, this is my other friend Emerald, Cicilla and her are best friends."

Emerald looked over at Giselle and rolled her eyes to Darian, "exactly, I'm surprised Darian isn't helping out more when Cici and him are also friends." Emerald rests her elbow on Darian's shoulder making him seem harmless but he was in fact annoyed.

Giselle's expression seemed grim, Darian wanted to take the worry away from her face but he knew he wasn't inclined to do so.

"Actually, I did happen to meet Cicilla recently..." Giselle said.

Emerald jumps, "Where? with you? Was there anything suspicious? Do you know where she went?"

Darian becomes annoyed, "Give her a break will you, Emerald."

"Shut up white man, the women are talking now!' Emerald grabs Giselle by the hand and walks off.

Giselle's POV

______

Giselle doesn't feel inclined to pull away from Emerald but she was definitely picking up pace in her steps.

Giselle's face contorts in confusion, Emerald stops by a soda machine. "You want one?" she says kindly.

"Uh. Nah I'm good," Giselle responds.

"So, what happened to her? Cicilla? Do you know?" Emerlad asks this as she opens a can of pop.

"Well, last I saw her was a couple days ago, she was getting stalked by some one, I could tell he was male but it was dark and he was too far away. He left by the time we got to her house though." Giselle explains, looking at the clock she noticed class would start any minute.

Emerald looks at Giselle confused, "Huh, that's weird, she said she was going over to a friend's house last I heard, her mom said she never made it back from school."

Giselle also began to look confused, "The last time I saw her she was about to head in, but now that you mention it, no one came to greet her, I can't remember the address or where it's at anymore either."

Emerald began to piece together what was going on.

"She might've lied then, but that makes no-"

RINNGGGGG!!

"Ah shit, well I guess that's times up, thanks for your help though, I'll be sure to let her parents know. The principal might call you in once the police get involved though, heads up." Emerald gave Giselle a salute turning around and walking off only to stop and jump back around.

"Actually! How about we exchange numbers! Wanna be my friend? I know you get into fights a lot but you don't seem all that bad, especially if Darian is hanging around you." Emerlad writes her number on a sticky note and hands it to Giselle.

"Here, sorry we don't have much time, I'll see you around, Gisele!" Emerlad runs off to class.

Giselle is left feeling somewhat speechless. She didn't really consider Emerald a friend just yet, but the girl definitely left a good first impression on her.
