Prologue

A world of magic and power a world where monsters and humans lived together, studying each other, and more. It all crumpled down because the monsters fought back, driving the humans to move to the mountains to live, for monsters can not handle the high altitude. But humans forgot 1 more thing in life: Evolution, Monsters growing wings and gaining powers to rival gods, they struck down the mountains where Humans lived for many years leaving only 4 left. 

But it all changed when the wingless appeared, the wingless was a monster, a wingless dragon some would describe, who emerged from the ocean gave the humans hope, teaching them the ways of true magic and allowing them to fight back against the monsters, but it was not enough for the first dragon, known to only destroy, rivaled the power of the wingless, and as there clash went on the wingless came out on top.

Humans worshiped the wingless for decades until a new dragon emerged as the dragon king and he evolved into something much more powerful, a Dragonoid, human-like dragons that have the power to destroy the world. The wingless knew it would lose, pouring the last of his energy into sealing them away in the dark regions where they stay dormant for the next 1000 years. The wingless did unfortunately die but promised to come back to protect humanity from its incoming calamity in the future. 

This world is cruel so humans came together and formed the monster hunter association, the top rank was Paladin, and below them, this loss went on to Master Hunter, advanced hunter, Mid Ranked Monster Hunter, apprentice Hunter, novice hunter, and finally to beginner hunter.

They were all separated into those categories, as Paladin needed the king to recognize his abilities. Hence, it was almost impossible to get, and it's said that a paladin is as strong as a mid-high-rank Dragonoid.
