Helena and Layla

After a month of the Battle of Oztown.

The National Bank at Washington. A woman with black hair, blue streaks. Wearing a business suit without a jacket. Wearing a vest, dress pants, heels, and glasses. Hair tied back as she's typing away. Her name tag reads; Helena Kronus.

She's finishing up some paperwork. After a long day of work, she's being approached by Layla Jackson, wearing shorts, boots, crop top, and a cap.

"Yo, Hades."

She's leaning on the side of the building, smoking while offering a joint to Helena.

"Do you have a regular cigarette?" Spoke with a slight Greek accent.

"About $10 each." Layla offers her up one cigarette.

Helena gave her $20. "Here you go."

Layla gives her two cigarettes then lights it up. "How's work, Hades?"

"Peaceful." After taking a puff. Looks at her and observed the body. "Poor kid."

"It's her own damn fault. For judging me." Layla chuckled. "I had been partying for the past month. Been one hell of a party. Been lighting it up all around the world."

"I know, Jackson." Helena's nose puffs out of frustration. "I saw the bill. What brought you here?" Open up a small portal to tap her ashes down. "It's gotta be more than a friendly chat."

Layla continues to smoke. "It's about the next meeting."

"We're not hosting a celebration party for your victory over Michelle Radcliffe. You're paying that on your own." Helena declines it.

"It's not that. But it's about Asuna's position."

Frustrating and annoyed puff of smoke. "Not this again." Foot rubs the cigarette. "We're not replacing Asuna. We had this talk after you were promoted as a Plague Witch. I doubt White and Mercer would care about her position."

"I don't care about the racist white supremacy bitch and the necrophiliac. I just want us to vote against her." She placed her arm around Helena who lit up another cigarette.

"We all agreed to have a meeting together. And I doubt removing Asuna should be a high priority."

"Oh, come on!" Layla is frustrated.

Quick eye shift to Layla then look up to the starless skies. "Why Asuna? I'm surprised that White isn't your priority on getting rid of."

Layla puffs a smoke to Helena. "Because White is more of a personal gain feeling. Something I'm waiting for and wanting to do myself." Cackled. "As for Asuna, it's something about her that scares me. I don't trust a bitch who doesn't give out hints on what her plan is in the end. I can understand White on wanting to bring back the Slave Days. Mercer just wants to continue more of her necrophilia projects. You will rebuild the Olympian system. And I want to express pure anarchy freedom. But Asuna?" Layla walks back and forth, as she expresses her frustration on Hikura Asuna's goal. "I don't really know her goal, but I want peace. One thing I know about us Witches that we want to backstab each other till one of us wins, but she wants peace with the Magical Girls? And after the Academy Massacre, I'm surprised that she continued with the whole peace with the Magical Girls."

"I too agreed that she does scare me due to her vague peace plan, but because of that fear, is why she is a Plague Witch of Peace. Unlike serial killers, molesters, or battle hungry Witches, Asuna strikes more fear in us than everyone else. Your Mentor was nothing more but a serial killer, and that doesn't make her special. By the way, sorry for your loss." Helena back pat Layla.

"She shall be missed, but she taught me to continue on the thrill. And I'm living up for the next thrill."

"But if we're talking about the idea of removing it, we could host a little competition." Helena made a suggestion.

"A little competition?" Layla is confused. "Like we're having some kind of festival? I doubt we would have the time to hold such a festival."

"A festival would be lovely, but I doubt the MGGA would let us have one, since they had ruined our Academy plans." Helena leans back onto the wall while thinking of the idea.

"Last time, a group from my Japanese unit at Tokyo got caught for having a stupid idea." Layla seems pissed of the idea.

"Oh right. I heard about that incident. How did that turn out?" Helena asked.

"I had to bust them out of jail. It wasn't easy, since having hundreds of Magical Girls hunting you down at the same time. And what's worse, it was the battle hungry ones that were bored at their station." Layla pulls out a shot of whiskey.

"Would you mind if I have one?" Asking for a shot.

Layla pulls out a shot then pour it down into the shot then gives it to Helena.

"Thank you." Helena takes a shot while Layla is drinking out of the bottle. "So how did you manage to escape?" She seems interested in the story. "I've been busy with my work here at the bank."

Layla is having a memory of the incident.

"Well after meeting those Academia brats, they had to spend their first year in Japan. A law free country, I can't believe I had to sacrifice my unit down there just because we could get some stuff out of it. Then a couple snitches later, we had like forty to sixty Magical Girls, literally rushes in to gang up the trio."

"Trio?" Helena interrupted.

"It was just the three I had down there. But the trio got themselves in hot water, so I had to send down a squad just to rescue their asses." Layla continues to drink out of frustration.

"That was a quick response."

"After they send the audacity of a video, wanting me to come to their country. Wanting me to rescue them, because they were bored out of their minds. It was six months they went through torture, and being forced to be combative with them. They were missing an arm, leg, and I swear to all things Holy, I think a tit was cut off."

"Doesn't sound like them, unless they're a couple of Reds."

"Oh no they aren't. But when we rescue them, and knowing it was a trap, we send in our Familiars first." Layla shakes her head. "Which ever Magical Girl that walked up with machine guns is a complete bitch. Then a couple of campers up high, in case they're expecting a bombing run. But damn, those Magical Bitches were expecting like they're waiting for World War Three to happen."

"Sounds like a lot of fire power." Helena is shocked.

"I was more surprised that they managed to get guns into the country, since my MGK were the only sellers. But damn, guess what you get on being governmental." Layla puffs out another smoke.

"Technically, I work for the government. I run the bank here." Helena said to her with an annoyed tone.

"Yeah, but you're stealing from us Witches and all. Screwing the system." Layla is showing off money.

"No. I only work for the government, because I have an interest in the banking system and economics. I don't care if it was stolen or not. I just like working here, even though there are stressful days." Helena barks back.

"Come on!" Layla is frustrated. "Then how about the bank robbery in Chicago?"

"I got a shit ton of trouble for that one. If you're gonna rob the bank, then do it on my days off." Helena pays out for another cigarette which Layla provides. "Continue with your story."

"Right! So I was there, waiting for whatever comes next but when some of my heavy hitters came down in order to lure in whatever Magical Girl out while some of the Familiars are planning on making their escape." Layla finished.

"And?"

"That's the end of it. Familiars saved their asses, while the heavy hitters took the heat."

"Then what about the others stationed there?" Helena questions the amount of Magical Girls in the story.

"They were busy." Layla continues to drink.

"With what?"

"A terrorist threat to some corporal assholes. Don't know which one, so we went with all of them. Shit, I don't care about some pencil neck geeks, sitting in his office being miserable. If I want to torture their asses, I would let them stay in that office but I might had gave them all some excitement for the first time in their lives."

"Alright then." Helena continues to smoke. "Knowing you, you must have done something to them."

"The body before this one." Layla turned to her with a smirk. "That was one of their punishments, who think I gave her a reward." Cackled. "The other two, kill one or the other, since they cost me a huge bank as they not only give me intel on their weapons but also, lack of payment."

"You're a cruel woman. What did the 80's do to you?" Helena smokes while commenting on her condition.

"Not the 80's. Radcliffe." Layla smokes. "Living a somewhat peaceful life with my family. It was better than before, but she came into my life. I'll hunt her down till I enjoy this life far more." Cackled. "I went from having a small group of seven then turning into a global organisation of Magical Girl Killers." Puff out a smoke. "Such a wonderful life. Spending around 20 years on trying to kill Radcliffe. I had lost so many bodies before this one."

"And how many bodies have you lost?" Helena asked.

"Let's see..." Layla finger counting while muttering on the timeline of events. "7 bodies by accident. 2 from suicide. 16 on purpose killed to find her location. 9 times on actual suicide but couldn't go through on a permanent death. Too many!" Layla laughs it off while Helena is shocked to hear of so many deaths around for one woman.

"So horrifying to see a Witch go through any lengths to kill one woman. I heard about killing so many out of hatred, but your hatred... such lengths." Helena flicks her cigarette away while a portal opens up to let it go into the garbage.

"Haven't changed that much since I wasn't always this cold blooded murderer till Radcliffe." Layla flick her cigarette but let it hit the ground while Helena portal it down into a garbage bin.

"Have some respect for some laws." Helena asked.

"Why?" Layla shrugs her shoulders. "Where me and my little sister grew up, we were street hoes but she took all of the heat while I was just a scared little black girl. Now everything is in reverse between us. Now she grew conscious while I lost mine." Layla starts cleaning her Wand.

"Someone had to grow up. Whether that's a good thing between you two is up in the air." Helena continues to look up to the starless skies. "I'm surprised that you haven't sent out your inner circle down at Oztown."

"Oh no. I don't send any of my elites down for something like that. But my MGK got some great experience." Layla smiled. "I'm proud of them, but those two, I'll admit, might cause a problem for me."

Helena looked confused. "Which two?"

"Rebecca Wolfe and that mysterious Maleficent one. They brought down my Mentor before that Mackenzie Callihan girl managed to kill her. As for the Maleficent one, I had my operatives look into her background and her Sleeping Beauty Locket model, but no result. And Wolfe disappeared after the battle. My first and only guess is that she died on the battlefield, but my little sister saw both her and Glinda duking it out." Layla smiled. "She said that Glinda beat her down then she ran off."

"Glinda? You mean that one Witch calls herself the Good Witch of the South, or something like that?"

"She's a cool gal. Mira's Apprentice." Layla grinned. "And she goes by the Northern Good Witch. But even she'll become like one of us. Another Witch who has to fight for survival against Magical Girls."

"Or trying to find a purpose and life in this modern world." Helena grabs her stuff. "I'm gonna head home, Layla."

"Alright!" Layla tossed her whiskey bottle but Helena it from shattering then pointed to a recycle bin. "And when did the Plague Witch of Hellfire such a law abiding citizen?"

"For a long time, Layla." Helena walked away while Layla smirked. Before she leaves, "But we'll be holding up a Coven Meeting."

This surprised Layla. "For what?"

"For a Festival." Helena turned to Layla. "Because I would like a Festival. Something for Halloween night."

Layla smirked. "Since I'm new, I'll pick out the next location for this meeting."

"See you there." Both of them shake hands before Helena teleports back to her home.

Layla stays there to smirk.
