Peace of Mind

One day after Layla and Helena agreed for a Coven Meeting.

"What?!" Almira and Marge are surprised over the letter they received while everyone else is eating.

"What is it?" Serena asked them as she continued on the paperwork of falsifying information.

Almira sat down while Marge was about to make herself some tea. "The Plague Witches are holding a Coven Meeting."

"Which means, every Witch will have to attend." Marge added. "It's such a pain with these meetings."

"We've never been into one of these ones, nor been informed by it." Olivia said.

"So why do we have to do it?" Abigail asked.

"We sit there, and spend nearly a couple of hours talking about what to do next. Such a tedious meeting, but sometimes we use them as a court system as well. Honestly, much better than talking about possible locations of a private nation. Unlike a few times we used the Coven Meetings for either Plague Witch ceremonies, the Academy discussion before the Massacre, or even a party at one point. But these meetings will go on for days." Marge sat next to Almira.

"At least last time was about Jackson being named a Plague Witch, but I honestly don't know what this meeting is about." Almira agreed as she looked at the letter.

"Jackson? You mean my little sister?" Makayla asked.

"That's right." Almira answered. "I forgot you weren't there for the last meeting. It was only a couple of years ago."

"How can you be a Plague Witch?" Olivia asked.

"I've been curious about that too." Abigail joined.

Almira looked at them. "Fear. You have to be the most feared, like how being a Magical Queen is to be the most influenceable. For us, it's the opposite."

"And each Plague Witch had been given a title for that fear." Marge added.

Serena looks disgusted as the boys are more confused than understood.

"I can't believe you have a system that matches the Magical Girls and Queens." Serena spoke up to them as her paperwork followed her. "Honestly, I don't know how to expect what you four, five including Becky when she comes out of the Cauldron, when you're about to apply for the Magical Girl Academia."

"Yeah, well, this might be a once in a lifetime for you. Since what odds is that you have Witches that are in a suicide mission on changing the system. On both ends." Almira cackled which gives both Peter and Serena the chills.

"I find it quite disgusting that I had to associate myself with Witches, and there's nothing wrong with the Magical Girl system. It's only the Witches system that's in the wrong." Serena spoke up against Almira.

"You're sure is right, but we're the ones that kicked your asses at Oztown." Almira gleefully plays with Serena who's pissed over the remark.

"That's quite rude. You only kicked the AWM, and a three person group of the Archangel Magical Girls!" Serena shouted at her. "If it was the full power group, then Layla Jackson would have been beaten."

Marge walks by as she's cleaning up the dishes. "Now that's the real reason why we would be having a Coven Meeting. A new Plague Witch to be declared."

"Ah! You see! Maybe that's why you're having a Coven Meeting. Because a couple of Vigilantes had brought down not only a Salem Witch, and a Plague Witch." Serena seemed proud.

"Oh, wow." Almira sarcastically said. "How great and powerful Plague Witch managed to be killed off by a mere couple of Vigilantes that just started out. Sounds like a story plot in order to prove that a mere kid could beat a serious threat like Jackson." Almira said. "But I have a question of my own."

"Feel free to ask."

"How many recorded Plague Witches you managed to kill off, and how many Magical Queens that we managed to kill off?" Almira asked.

"That's an easy answer. Zero Queens, and at least a couple of dozen Plagues."

"Such an impressive feat." Almira sarcastically praises the maths. "Because I lastly recall that we had lost at least 3 Plague Witches, and you had lost... nearly 10 Queens for the past 20 years since you introduced the system to the western world? And 2 of those Plague Witches were lost because of our greedy wickedness." Almira smiled.

Serena sees her pearly teeth with a disgusted tone. "I thought Witches are supposed to be dirty and ragged. But I guess you need to look clean in order to lure in such innocent people to their deaths."

"Innocent?" Almira cackled. "We must have killed off more bad people than you arresting them. How are we the bad ones here?"

"Because killing isn't healthy nor helping the system to peace."

"Alright, point there. But yet, how many Witches that did more good than anyone that you had killed? Or should I sugarcoat it, vaporise them?"

"There's no such thing as a Good Witch!" Serena shouted.

Dorothy clears her throat.

"She's a good one." Almira snarks at Serena.

"She's no Witch! She's the perfect Pink Magical Girl who had been cursed with Witch's Magic." Serena retorts.

"Cursed?" Cackled. "We don't curse people with Magic. We only cursed them by saying all the bad words while flipping them off. It was cursed words because people back then thought Women saying bad words were the reasons why Witch Hunts happen."

Dorothy walked up to them, getting in between them. "Alright, alright, alright! I don't want a fight nor the MGGA coming here again! We just got an understanding. Can we stay at this safe point?!" She barks at them.

"Crystal."

"Clear."

"Good." Dorothy sat back down. "Now tell me about these qualifications for being this Pink Magical Girl that Becky seems to be obsessed over."

Peter spoke up. "It's for trying to make my life better. At least that's what she wanted to try."

"Plus, getting recommendations for the Dorm is the one of two ways to get in." Serena said.

"And the other?" Dorothy continued to ask.

"Enough credit from other Magical Girls, Vigilantes, AWM, and the general public."

"General public?" Peter is confused.

"It's like the Plagues or Queens way of getting in."

"I see..." Dorothy nods then an idea hits. Turn to Almira. "When is the next Coven Meeting?"

"About in a couple of weeks. Why?" She wondered then realised it. "Oh, hell no! That's way too dangerous! Bringing the MGGA into a Coven Meeting?!"

"For once, I agree with Almira here. We don't want to risk the lives and safety of Vigilantes, Magical Girls and even Queens for this. Plus, you could be giving us false info, Almira. But sending in the army is like having pigs covered in blood into the wolf's den."

"What? No." Dorothy shaked her head. "I just wanted to know if there are any Witches that are quite done but want a peaceful death. Or wanting to be brought down?"

Both Almira and Marge look at each other then nod.

"There are a few, but they're not the most... wanted of Witches. But they're not that hard to find though." Almira said.

"Any would do." Dorothy said.

"This is sounding a lot like how Becky would try to get the MGGA to notice her." Peter commented.

"Is this how Becky does her work?" Dorothy turned to him.

"Yeah. Never liked it, but as long as it was controlled." Peter looked at her.

Serena walked on the table as the Wicked Witches finished their paperworks. "Show me your papers." Serena asked them.

They reveal their applications and their alias names;

Abigail Bones, Olivia Johnston, and Makayla Laveaux, are now going under the names; Melissa Barthel, Cassandra Brooks, and Lyra Black, respectively.

"As for your backgrounds, I find them interesting, they're a good story to sell."

"Story?" All three are confused. "Those are actually our stories!"

Serena is shocked. "Really?" Hesitant to look down then back up to them. "Then are you really; a grave digger who also slept with dead bodies; a rape victim from a Greaser gang; and an underage prostitute with a drug problem?" Serena's eye twitches due to the background horrors. "How do you all have such a history? I think therapy would work."

"They're all from different time periods, but we're going through different stuff. But we're gonna be in this together." Dorothy walked up to them. "Just hoping that we'll find a way to make it into Academia together."

"Well it might be possible, but you'll have to go against multiple different girls from all over the world in order to get in. Even recommendations will be going through a selection from previous Pink Magical Girls alumni."

"I'm only after Fritzgerald. After that, I can look for a boss here." Olivia leans next to Dorothy. "By the way, what does sexual orientation mean?" Points at the sex identification part.

"I was confused about that one too." Abigail agreed.

Makayla chuckled. "I'm wondering if you're gay or not."

Dorothy picks up Becky's application. "Then how do you have sex with a pan? Because a pan seems odd for a masturbation tool or to see them as an attraction." Abigail nods in agreement as Dorothy is looking at a frying pan. "I can understand if you use it as a weapon, but sexually attracted to a pan?"

"Not actually true nor correct." Makayla spoke up. "My little sister said that pansexual means that she's attracted to all, regardless of sex. Men, women, trans, bi, Asexual, doesn't matter. She's pretty much open. I tend to confuse pansexual and bisexual since they seem to be similar, but if it makes them happy, then let them be."

Dorothy is swinging the frying pan like a weapon while Abbie is putting another frying pan with makeup which Almira, Marge, Peter, and Makayla are giving them a confused look while Olivia is laughing at them.

"So..." Makayla is writing their sexual orientation forms. "What can I put you all in? Since I know your eras will be different towards the LGBTQ+ communities."

"Oh!" Dorothy turned to her while Marge grabbed the frying pans, but softly smacked Abigail for ruining a frying pan that she cleaned. "I did study up on a certain sexual orientation; AroAce. It seem to fit me perfectly, since I don't find sex interesting, nor I'm not interested in a relationship. I do want to make people happy, but doesn't mean I'll make their wildest dreams come true. I'll make people happy under my power."

"If my former pimp, God bless his soul, would ever hear say that, he would smack you one." Makayla commented.

"Won't be the first time I got smack." Dorothy added.

"Well my pimp one time put a turkey sandwich with tomato before me. True story." Makayla chuckled. "It was one hell of a sandwich though."

"Question." Abigail raised her hand.

"A pimp is a person who exploits women for doing sexual activities for men, or anyone in today's period." Makayla answered Abigail's question.

"No. Not that, I could have put that together from the backstory. What do you have if you show interest in women, but don't really know how to express it or how to handle it." Abigail said.

"Can you put it to simpler terms?" Makayla asked.

"I think she's asking if she's gay or not, but don't really know?" Olivia said.

"I think it would be called Bi-Curious if you're interested in both men and women, but don't know how to express it." Makayla answered.

"Yeah, that would work." Abigail said.

"Alright then." Makayla put it in.

Olivia is observing her work. "So both of us are Cis-Straight?"

"Not really, since I'm on Abbie's side here, well more confirmed. Since I did have some female customers before, and it did awaken something in me for the past 40 years. Which I had it in my mind during the Cauldron." Makayla leans back.

"Eh." Olivia shrugs her shoulders. "So boss. What are we planning on knowing about the Witches? Are we gonna stalk them? Or maybe we can take down a couple of MGK since you know them so well, Kayla." Olivia patted her back.

"That's a suicide mission!" Makayla shouted. "If we even take one down, my sister will possibly send out a couple of rookies to do the hunt. Just look at Oztown. My sister sent out a bunch of kids, and newbies to fight in the streets."

"Does your sister have an operation or system in her MGK?" Abigail asked.

"It's a 3 tier system. Her newbies or grunts are called Homies. The experienced members are Thugs. And as for inner circle, the Gangstars, which are five members, her included." Makayla leaned back.

"And your position?" Dorothy asked.

"Homie." Makayla leans down. "Why I bring up that it's suicide that I heard about the Tokyo incident."

"That's what got her promoted. White, Mercer and Asuna made a vote on it, then Hades made her one." Almira said.

"So let go with Dorothy's plan on finding the ones that do want to end it all." Makayla sides with Dorothy's plan.

"Alright then. Hopefully they'll be alright on letting us take them in." Olivia grabs a sandwich.

"They weren't trying to hide to begin with, but they won't mind it at all. I can't believe they haven't been caught but guess they're around a bunch of idiots or love living a peaceful life." Almira is looking at the map of the USA.

"I'll be honest, I'm conflicted but I'll be asking them for consent to death." Dorothy said with a worried tone. "But I do wish we could find another way to make it into the Academia."

Serena is reading the mail, then realises that the new system to declare the next candidates of Magical Girls student applications.

"There might be a way after all." Serena walked up to them all. "Witch Almira!" She turned to her like she's ordering her around.

"What is it, Master Cat?!" Almira playfully acts like a slave to Serena.

"Can a Witch break out of the Cauldron in an early schedule?" Serena asked.

"Yeah, but unlike the regular schedule, it will have side effects and whatever illness they have, they might have the effects linger around but it'll heal over time. Mental state, that's another problem of its own. Why?"

"Because have you heard of the Magical Girls Grand Games?" Serena asked.

"You're acting like I heard of World War 2 or 9/11, of course I heard about it!" Almira barks back.

"World War 2. That brought back memories." Marge looks at a history book.

"How old are you two?!" Serena barks at them.

"Centuries." Both Almira and Marge answered.

"Anyways, have any of you heard of the Grand Games?" Serena turned to the Wicked Witches and Peter.

Peter spoke first. "You're talking to a guy who has a sister who's obsessed with Magical Girls, of course I heard about it."

"Not us." the Wicked Witches answered together.

"We have." Both Johnny and Darien followed.

"How the hell are you two about it?!" Both Dorothy and Olivia asked them.

"We're both cats."

"We tend to hear here and there at times."

Dorothy signed. Turned to Serena to ask. "Tell us about these Grand Games."

Serena grins. "Well..."
