32 CHAPTER 32

5 months, that's how long my bodyguard mission lasted, all in all, it was a fairly boring mission. We were only attacked 4 times! All these attacks only happened in the first 2 months of the journey. At first, I didn't mind this but by the end of the 4 month, I was starting to get really tired of only seating around in the caravan and spending my time studying. I didn't mind studying but even regular students need their mental break once in a while. Even my client was quite shocked by the low number of attacks that the caravan had in the journey, he mentioned that the average time that the caravan would be attacked in the past was at least 10 times. Lucky me, I guess?

Aside from studying the language of my third world... (I really hope I don't get teleported again cause learning their language is such a hassle).

Anyway, aside from just the language I was also able to figure out some important information about this world, like mages, magic council, dark mages, as well as learning the existence of the 'Wizard Saint Title'. I also found out that only the most powerful mages in the continent can get this title, I was shocked when I read the name of Master Makarov as a member of this elite group. I tried asking people and finding some articles about the other members but aside from Makarov, the rest of the Wizard Saint Titleholders were a mystery, perhaps they wanted it to be kept hidden, who knows really.

Perhaps I can achieve that title in the future, hehehehe, that would be fun.

"We are finally here in Magnolia Town", my client said as I was removed from my own thoughts. I stored my stuff and left the carriage that I was sitting in. I looked at the view of the town and eventually left the caravan. My client just waves me goodbye and thanks me for my services. He also shouted that he would want to hire me personally next time if I wanted, I just smiled at this and left him.

I walk towards the town at a leisurely pace when suddenly I heard an explosion.

"BANG!"

I look at the direction of the explosion and immediately realized that it originated in the outskirts of the forest, a forest that was near the town of Magnolia.

"Might as well check it out", I said to myself. I really did not care about what caused the explosion but I was looking for an excuse to not go to the guild. Somehow I didn't want to meet Kagura yet.

I went to the forest and the moment I got to where the explosion was, I saw Gildarts standing near a crater, in his hand was a piece of bread and he was currently in the middle of eating it.

"Hello, Gildarts", I said to the man.

"Huh? Enzo your back. Why are you here?", Gildarts said as he continued to eat his bread.

"I heard the explosion a while ago, and I decided to go and check it out", I said as I looked at the crater near Gildarts and asked him, "Did you cause that?".

"Yeah", Gildarts said with a smile on his face.

"Why?", I asked in bewilderment.

"It was an accident, I woke up hangover and I accidentally used my powers while peeing. HAHAHAHAHAHA", Gildarts said.

"You live here?"

"Yeah, look", Gildarts said as he pointed at a wooden house near where the two of us were standing and he said, "The townspeople voted that I wasn't allowed to live inside of Magnolia Town, cause they fear me destroying the neighborhood. So, I lived here in the forest".

"Well, I could see their point", I said as I looked at the crater.

"You should return to the guild already. Kagura misses you", Gildarts said.

"Maybe later", I said to him.

"hmmmmm", Gildarts said, he then finishes the bread he was eating.

"I thought you would be out in a mission by now",

"I actually just finished taking one mission. I returned yesterday that's why I was hangover", Gildarts replied.

"Oh"

For a while, the two of us just stood in silence when he suddenly spoke up and said to me, "Follow me, kid".

Seeing that I had nothing to do, I obliged but with confusion at where he was taking me. After a while, we got into a clearing in the forest and he stops walking and turned around to face me.

"You have a lot on your mind. So, forget that and let me see what you can do", Gildarts said as he moves at extreme speed and tried to punch me in the face. Only in the last moment was I able to dodge his fist. Damn, even with my observation haki he was hard to pick up, he was definitely far faster than Laxus.

"Kid, life will always give you problems, but don't forget that the guild is there for you. Even Master Makarov is routing for you", Gildarts said.

"Cringy old man", I said with a slight smile on my face. So he knows something about me, perhaps master Makarov has mentioned my circumstances to him.

"Anyway kid, the fight that you had with Laxus was actually fun to watch. Let's see what you can do when you fight me", Gildarts said as he once again tried to hit me, this time his fist was aimed in my stomach.

"TEKKAI!"

His punch connected to my tekkai enhance stomach and I immediately felt the pain of his punch.

"AH!", I was suddenly blasted in the forest, only stopping when I had already destroyed 3 huge trees.

"What a punch. I should have used Haki immediately", I said as I rub my aching stomach. I wanted to see how my physical body can compare to an S-rank mage. Besides Gildarts didn't even use his magic, that punch was raw physical strength.
