Chapter 33

Out of the forest came a huge monster of a figure. The creature had a tall figure dwarfing most men and every time the creature's foot touches the ground the earth would be frozen. It had white fur covering most of its body, only the palm of its hand and face weren't cover with hair. Every time the creatures breathe air out, a white mist would be release.

"Interesting magic", Gildarts said as he saw the transformation figure of Enzo.

With a smile on Enzo's monstrous face, he replied, "I guess you could say that". Enzo didn't want to go into detail about how he actually got his so-called magic. It's not like he could just say that he ate a fruit and he got a unique ability from it. He rather keeps that secret to himself.

Enzo made a gun posture and shouted, "ICE SCULPTURE BARRAGE!"

Multiple white projectiles began to target Gildarts, but Gildarts was undeterred and with a smile on his face he stretches out his arm and said, "All Crush!".

Before Enzo's projectiles hit Gildarts, every single one of them were crushed in mid-air releasing a white mist in the surroundings.

Gildarts used this chance to sprint in front of Enzo. Gildart's cocked his right arm and covered it with his Crush magic and delivered a powerful blow to Enzo. But in the lase moment, Enzo was able to cover both his arm with Haki and crossed his arms to block the punch.

"BANG!!!"

The moment Gildart's punch landed a white magical blast covered the entire body of Enzo as he received the full power of the attack. The birds in the surroundings began to fly in the air due to fear of the commotion.

When the white blast receded, you could see that the ground that Enzo was standing on previously, was gone. Enzo was now located inside a gigantic crater, still with his arms cross in front of him.

"Someone's tanky", Gildarts said.

"Damn that hurts", Enzo said as rub his aching arm. He even used his Haki and Gildarts was still powerful enough to give him pain but he knows for a fact that Gildarts wasn't even serious when he hit him with his magic.

'I need to be able to react to his speed', Enzo thought as his monstrous form began changing into a more humanoid figure. He was still 3 feet taller than Gildart's but with his Human-Hybrid form, he will be able to react to his speed.

"Hmmm...I didn't know that those who use take-over magic can alter the shape of their Take-over", Gildarts said to Enzo.

Enzo cracked his neck and stretches both of his arms and he said to Gildarts, "My turn".

Enzo vanishes from his position slightly shocking Gildarts in the process. Enzo's figure appeared in front of him and delivered a powerful punch to his face. Gildarts who is a master combatant easily dodged the incoming attack. Enzo didn't care about his attack missing his target, he proceeded to engage Gildarts in close quarters combat. On a number of occasions, Gildarts would block Enzo's attack, causing him to be slowly being transformed into ice.

Not far from their location, a short figure arrived to see the commotion that was happening, it was the Guild Master of Fairy Tail, Master Makarov Dreyar.

"These kids...", Makarov said as he sighed and shakes his head due to the destruction that the members of his guild had done in the forest. 'At least they're not fighting in town', Makarov thought, he was grateful at least that they weren't causing property damage to anyone.

Gildarts landed a powerful kick to Enzo head, which Enzo was able to block but the attack still caused him to be dragged a few meters away.

"That is very interesting, it seems like you can see my attack before it happened", Gildarts said. Throughout the short hand-to-hand combat, he had been giving Enzo multiple feint attacks, all of which the young man in front of him was able to either block and dodge. Enzo blocking his attack in his head was just the latest example of such a feint attack that Enzo was able to foresee and respond properly.

Enzo didn't respond to Gildart's query and just readied himself to continue the fight.

"Well whatever", Gildarts said as he used his crushed magic on his body.

Enzo was bewildered at what Gildarts was doing when suddenly all the ice patches that were found in Gidarts began to crack and soon disappear. Enzo was calm on the outside but on the inside he was shocked, to think that there was magic out there that was capable of removing his powers. This moment was a learning experience for the young man in front of Gildarts.

"That's more like it. Now we can continue", Gildarts said as he suddenly released a huge amount of magical energy originating from his body. Gildarts was covered with a white aura of magic as the temperature seems to drop due to him unleashing everything he has. The magical aura was becoming incredibly powerful that the figure of Gildarts could no longer be seen, his magic was too thick.

"ENZO! YOU HAVE POTENTIAL TO BECOME POWERFUL WIZARD! SHOW ME WHAT YOU CAN DO!", Gildarts shouted at Enzo.

,"HAHAHAHAHAHA! TAKE THIS OLD MAN", Enzo said as he cocked right arm and began channeling magic through it. Enzo was thrilled to fight against a man as powerful as Gildarts, so he obliged the man in front of him by using his most powerful attack to date. Enzo covered his arm with the strongest Haki enhance attack that he could do. With quick speed, Enzo appeared in front of Gildarts and delivered a powerful punch.

"GRAND IMPACT!!!"

This punch wasn't just a punch enhanced with Haki no, Enzo was using Hasshoken style to deliver this powerful attack. In the outer edges of his arm, multiple ripple patterns could be clearly seen.

But before Enzo's fist could land at Gildarts, he still needed to bypass the magical energy that was currently surrounding him. But Gildarts wasn't someone who just welcomed an attack without delivering his own.

"ALL CRASH!!!!"

BANG!!!!

A powerful explosion happened that nearly all the people in the town of Magnolia were able to see. They saw the collision of two magical energy in the forest, the collision of blue magical aura and white magical aura. Most of them were shocked at what they saw. Only a few, those with excellent eyesight saw another magical aura in the mix.

Back on the battlefield, a small figure can be seen in the middle of both Gildarts and Enzo. It was Master Makarov, before both attacks landed, he had step in to prevent them from injuring each other. No, Makarov was mostly preventing Enzo from having serious injuries, as a veteran wizard, he already knows that Gildarts attack was more powerful than Enzo's.

"Enough", Makarov said to the two individuals.
