CLASH CLASH CLASH
Sparks fly as Everett and Luxk's swords collide.
Luxk commands shadows within his space with his hands as they proceed to shoot projectiles and spikes.
Everett nearly dodges every one of them but when that is over Everett is met with a fury of attacks from Luxk. Everett jumps up and a projectile blast shoots from his sword Luxk blocks it with a blast from his own. Everett lands back on the floor. He struggles to keep up with Luxk's emotionless and almost effortless onslaught.
"He's not taking me seriously. He knows that he could kill me at any moment because am within his space. I guess the art of surprise is the only way." Everett thinks to himself.
Everett runs on the right side of Luxk shooting three blasts from his sword. Luxk again blocks too but the other shoots past him.
CLASH
Luxk blocks the attempt blindside attack from the back.
"I saw that move your teacher tried and did that technique many times. It's starting to get old" Luxk tells Everett. "But mine has a little twist," Everett says dropping his sword and holding onto Luxk's hands dropping his sword in the process.
SLAM
The young mage does a takedown on Luxk. Luxk's body seeps into the shadows and reappears behind him fixing his glasses in the process.
"That was a good twist. I wasn't expecting that. But that is the last time you'll make me drop my sword. "Luxk says blitzing right towards Everett.
"Ugh"
CLASH
Everett parrying and following Luxk's movement. While Everett is coating himself with this green hue from his healing magic.
"Healing eh, I admit Mr. Sage it's pretty good but-" Luxk speaks between their clash.
SLASH SLASH
Luxks carves an X on Everett's chest.
"EVERETT" Mae yells out.
"It's not going to help you," Luxk says stepping back.
Everett briefly fades away for a second and returns as if nothing happened. Back and forth they go cutting and healing cutting and healing. "How long do you indeed to keep this up? You're just postponing your defeat." Luxk questions.
Everett chuckles "Just wait."
SLASH
Everett drops to his knees. Luxk walks closer to the young mage. "No matter how many times I cut you you still get back up. Do you intend to tire me out? That won't work for you within my space."
"HA" Everett swings at Luxk.
THUD
Luxk catches the blade in his hand and with the other slams Everett into the ground.
RATTLE RATTLE
Chains begin to form around Everett trapping all his limbs to the ground.
Luxk squats down to Everett and grips his hair "Well I shall see you again Chosen One". Luxk stands and walks towards Mae mere feet away from her.
RATTLE RATTLE RATTLE
"ARGH. I'm not letting you get away, You're not taking Mae!" Everett struggles and shifts his body in many ways to get out of the chains.
GRIP
Everett grabs his blade and shoots another blast toward Luxk "If I can get one blast off I can teleport towards him" he thinks.
BLAST
Everett frees himself once more.
"Sigh," Luxk says as he turns around and sticks his blade out.
STAB
Silence fills the area. Drips of blood can be hard. The groans of Everett echo throughout the space. Luxk stabs Everett hoisting him up in the air. Luxk looks at him unamused.
Mae looks on in disbelief.
RATTLE RATTLE RATTLE
The chains begin to form again.
"Hmph" Everett smiles as he points the blade at Luxk.
"What you-" Luxk was caught off guard.
BOOM
Everett shoots a blast in a point-blank range hitting both him and Luxk. "Everett," Mae says with a soft and broken voice. Everett drops to the ground. Mae rushes to his side.
"A-Are you ok? Although his wounds are bad he's still healing but how long can he keep this up." Mae is in disbelief as she examines Everetts's body. Everett slowly regains consciousness. "Ugh, Mae? Did I get him?"
CLAP CLAP CLAP
"Yes indeed you did get me" Luxk emerges from the shadows with just his torso showing as the shadows cover his face. Luxk steps into the barely visible light. He stops forward revealing the remnants of his glasses and his face with multiple cuts and wounds. The clothing of his upper torso was battered and worn out.
"I believe this is the first time you gave me any wound," Luxk says as the shadows cover the areas that have been wounded.
"Although you can heal wounds-" Luxk says.
VRRM
Luxk appears right in front of Everett.
"Can you heal an amputated limb?"
SLASH
"ARGHHHHHH" Everett screams in agony.
Luxk cuts Everett's right arm off. Mae looks on in horror as his blood sprays onto her. Luxk swings his blade downward removing the blood from his blade as he walks passed Everett while he's writhing in pain.
"Hm, you should be able to heal that seeing that you can heal wounds without leaving scars," Luxk says. Luxk grabs onto Mae's arm as the shadow space gets released.
VRMM
"Everett! Mae!" Alice calls as they appear on the scene.
"You get away from her. " Alice says.
FLAME WALL
The flame wall cuts place right in between Luxk and Mae.
"Grab Mae" also says to Dillia.
DASH
"Dillia," Mae says.
"Let's go," Dillia says.
FLAME PILLAR
The pillar traps Luxk inside.
Alice runs past the wall towards Everett.
"This is horrible," Alice says.
"ARGH UGH" "Breathe Everett here now we'll get you back to the others," Alice says. Everett calms down as he passes out. Alice calls for Dillia to come over.
The flame pillar goes down.
"He's gone" Alice shocked.
VRMM
Luxk appears behind her.
"You. I call upon thee-"
Luxk covers Alice's mouth before she can recite anymore. "Doing another one of those could be fatal right?" Luxks whispers into Alice's ears. Preparing to slice her.
"Milady!" Dilla heads straight for Luxk leaving Mae alone.
Luxk throws Alice straight at Dillia.
"UGH"
The two get back up ready to fight.
"HMPH" Luxk extends his arms out as he binds both Alice and Dillia with his chains.
"No Mae!" Alice yells.
Luxk grabs a hold of Mae again.
"Let go of me" Mae struggles as she does everything in her power to break free."
POW
Luxk delivers a chop to knock her out.
Luxk generates a shadow portal taking Mae with him. "Goodbye Virtues"
ZIP
A bright light shoots across the area taking Mae away from Luxk, freeing Alice and Dillia. In the meantime placing Everett and his arm within a safe enclosed barrier.
The light stops in front of the girls. The light fades a woman walks in with a tall, beautiful face, purple hair, and purple eyes. wearing a white collared shirt with slacks, and a white coat that reads "The Lightbringer".
"Your-" Alice says.

Meanwhile back at the Emerald Path.
"Farewell Aibara Kaneda," Gluttony says.
SWISH
A purple arrow blocks the attack.
ZIP
"My my what a predicament you are in Captain Kaneda." A girl with a black kimono with flower designs on it, long black hair with bangs and a bun, and carrying a vibrant Katana on her.
"Take this. " Gluttony attempts to attack her.
The girl in the kimono phases in and out and she takes Kaneda with her in the opposite direction.
"You why are you here?" Kaneda asks beaten and battered.
ZIP
"Head Captain had her suspicions," a man says with purple hair, purple eyes, a long black coat with a collar, a black shirt, black pants, a belt, and a long bow.
"Of course she did" Kaneda remarks.
"You'd be dead right now if it weren't for her," the archer says.
The two stand in front of Kaneda.
"Reinforcements have arrived." the girl says with her coat reading Mirage with the number 5 on it.
"Just sit back and relax Kaneda," the archer says with his coat reading Phantom Arrow with the number 8 on it.
"More Captains of the Pacific Mage Association eh," Gluttony says.
The Captain of Squad 5 "Mirage" Itsuki Nagasawa and the Captain of Squad 8 "Phantom Arrow" Sho Kaneda have arrived.

"Head Captain Ryoichi," Alice says.
"I'll stop you here Dark Mage," Ryoichi says.
"The strongest mage of this Isle," Dilla says.
Luxk is ready for battle.
"Stay back I shall end this shortly" Ryoichi states.
Head Captain and Captain of Squad 1 "Lightbringer" Nozomi Ryoichi arrives.
