[ Third Person POV ]
Impel Down, Moments Before
A storm raged on Marineford.
The Marine soldiers who happened to be patrolling Marineford's port had stopped, and were now looking at a small yellow dot that seemed to have been getting closer and closer to Marineford.
"What the hell is that?" One Marine Soldier asked.
"I don't know, but it's getting closer. We should probably ring it up, don't want to get in trouble now do we?" Another Marine soldier responded.
The Marine who had asked that question was about to go for his transponder snail when the both of them immediately rolled their eyes back before collapsing. The yellow dot that the duo had been so curious about was now currently standing in front of the unconscious duo.
"Hmph! To think that Roger got caught by these pathetic weaklings.....absolutely unacceptable!"
Alarms immediately blared as more and more Marine Soldiers appeared in front of the Golden Lion.
"Bring it, ants!"
With a roar, Shiki lunged at the Marine Soldiers with his two katanas unsheathed. Hacking, slashing and stabbing through multiple Marine Soldiers. The Marines didn't even have time to react, they could only watch on helplessly as they faced their impending demise.
Screams and sounds of destruction could be heard as the Marines tried their hardest to fight off the Golden Lion.
More and more Marines kept on flooding in as they tried to fight the Golden Lion. However, what suddenly caught the Golden Lion's attention, was the appearance of two individuals. Shiki stood on top of a mountain of Marine soldier bodies as he stared at the duo.
"Hm? At least you bastards are beginning to take things a bit more seriously. Now, where's Roger?!"
In front of Shiki, Vice-Admiral Garp and Admiral Sengoku looked up at him. Their faces were grim, indicating the seriousness of the situation.
"We won't be telling you his location, Shiki," Sengoku replied.
"Roger is better off dying in the sea like a true pirate.....Not in the hands of you scummy Marines!!" Shiki hissed as he swung the blood out of his blades.
"Roger's execution must proceed without interruption!" Garp declared taking off the jacket off his back.
"Not if I have something to do with it!!!" Shiki roared as he leaped from the body pile and lunged at the duo.
Garp immediately coated his fists with Haki as he deflected Shiki's blades away from his throat. Sengoku leaped to perform a palm attack, but Shiki managed to evade the attack, and instead kicked Sengoku through a nearby building.
Garp wasn't too far behind, however; he immediately grabbed Shiki's foot before chucking Shiki right through two more buildings that happened to be right close to the building that Shiki had just kicked Sengoku through.
Sengoku emerged from the rubble, immediately looking towards his left as rubble and remnants of the destroyed buildings slowly began to float.
Sengoku slowly grew into his Buddha form in response, while Garp simply coated his fists with Advanced Armament Haki.
In a yellow flash, Shiki immediately appeared right in front of Garp, stabbing his blade right at the area where the heart was supposed to be. Garp caught the blade with his bare hands, while Sengoku immediately appeared right next to the Golden Lion.
"Palm of the Great Sage!!"
A golden light immediately bloomed right where Sengoku had made contact with Shiki. Immediately followed by a powerful shockwave that sent Shiki through a couple of more building as a result.
However, Shiki wasn't done yet.
The already floating rubble immediately made way towards where Garp had stood. Garp, upon noticing this, wasted no time dodging and deflecting the oncoming projectiles.
Shiki immediately came from the rubble before appearing right in front of Sengoku. His remaining blade swung right at the Admiral's throat before any normal person would have been able to realize.
Sengoku's eyes narrowed as he slowly leaned backwards to avoid the Shiki's lethal swing. He was able to dodge it for the most part, but he wasn't able to avoid the small line that was drawn from his neck by the very edge of the blade.
Shiki smirked at seeing this, but didn't have time to relish it because of the sudden punch that had made contact with his jaw soon after. Sending Shiki through another building as a result.
Sengoku brushed off the small line of blood that came from his throat.
"Ha!" Shiki floated from the ground while looking at the both of them.
"Nice shot, Garp! But we both know that it'll take more than that to put me down!!" Shiki's Conqueror's Haki flared as he glared at the both of them.
"Hmph! My next shot will put you down for good!" Garp growled as his Conqueror's Haki flared.
Sengoku didn't miss the opportunity to let his out either. He let out his, as a three way battle of wills soon ensued.
Shiki was the first to break the battle as he lunged right at Sengoku. The duo immediately responded by rushing at him. Garp slammed right at the side of Shiki, causing him to falter a bit before his chest met Sengoku's palm.
However, things wouldn't go out the way Sengoku predicted.
Shiki immediately called back the blade he had lost to Garp previously and managed to let out a sword slash right at Sengoku's palm. Causing Sengoku to take a step back so that he could dodge it right at the last minute.
Garp, who had taken a step back to dodge Sengoku's attack, was about to make a rush right back at Shiki. However, Shiki immediately raised a nearby building that he had crashed into earlier and slammed it right at Garp. Garp immediately raised his arms and coated them in Armament Haki before he was crushed with the large building remnant.
Sengoku immediately appeared in front of Shiki and slammed his palm square on his chest.
Shiki immediately spit out blood before he flew back a couple of meters.
Garp immediately broke out of the rubble and lunged straight at Shiki. Shiki, immediately recovering from Sengoku's palm, immediately crossed his katana's before coating them with Advanced Armament Haki before Garp slammed his fists against them.
The force of Garp's fists immediately sending him flying even further before he began crashing through more parts of Marineford.
"Ugh!" Shiki got out of the rubble from the crash he created. His appearance a shadow of how he looked like before he raided Marineford.
"Give up, Shiki. You're not getting Roger from here," Sengoku said. He was still in his Golden Buddha form, and Garp landed right on next to him as well.
By now, half of Marineford had been left in shambles as a result of the battle. Marine reinforcements had slowly arrived and evacuated remaining citizens and families away from the battlefield as the battle had raged on.
"HA!! You think that I'll give up because I'm surrounded! If I'm losing, we all are losing!!!!"
Suddenly, the rubble that had laid on the ground slowly began rising high into the sky, slowly converging into a large boulder that easily covered a quarter of Marineford.
"That bastard!" Garp tried to grab Shiki, but Shiki easily floated out of the way before Garp could get him.
Sengoku quickly leaped into the air in attempt to catch Shiki and try and drag him back down, but he couldn't leap high enough to actually catch him.
"I'll just wreck Marineford until somebody gives me a proper answer then!!" Shiki smiled viciously as he continued gathering more and more rubble that he had touched earlier.
